The Day and the Hour
For quoted bible references I use the Institute of Scriptural Research (ISR) Scriptures 2009 translation unless otherwise noted. I like it because, for the most part, it is a literal translation. The Father’s name appears in the Hebrew letters. To save confusion for those not familiar with Hebrew, I changed it to the English equivalent letters. In Hebrew, His Name is YOD HEY VAV HEY. In English letters, it is YHWH.
Can we know the day and the hour of the Great and Awesome day of YHWH? The answer is yes, we can. This article is to show how we can know through prophecy and other tools Avinu ba’Shamayim (our Father in Heaven) has given us. A lot of people think they cannot understand prophecy, but the truth is we all can and need to. Consider the following:
1Thes. 5:1 Now, brothers, as to the times and the seasons, you do not need to be written to.
1Thes. 5:2 For you yourselves know very well that the day of YHWH comes as a thief in the night.
1Thes. 5:3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then suddenly destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they shall not escape (Micah 4:9-10).
1Thes. 5:4 But, you brothers are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
1Thes. 5:5 For you are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1Thes. 5:6 So then, we should not sleep, as others do, but we should watch and be sober.
This is remarkably interesting. The day of YHWH should not take us by surprise. Revelation 3:1-3 gives us more information on this. This is a literary parallel to 1Thes. 5:1-6. The same subject in two places brings the two together so we can get a deeper understanding of both.
Rev. 3:1 And to the messenger of the assembly in Sardis write, He who has the seven Spirits of Elohim and the seven stars, says this, “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead”.
Rev. 3:2 Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete before Elohim.
Rev. 3:3 Remember, then, how you have received, and heard. And watch and repent. If then, you do not wake up, I shall come upon you as a thief, and you shall not know at all what hour I come upon you.
Notice here that as a result of the assembly of Sardis’ works not being found complete before Elohim. He will come upon them as a thief, and they will not know at all what hour He comes. Who knows the day and hour? I do not see many hands coming up, including my own. There are some key words in 1 Thes. 5:6 that tell why we do not know yet – “stay awake and watch and be sober”. What I have seen in prophecy is that filling yourself with strong drink is usually associated with giving yourself a delusion to believe something which is not true, ignoring truth because it is not what you want. YHWH will give you a delusion to believe the lie if you hold on to that lie despite being told truth according to the plain understanding of scripture. Quote below.
2Thes. 2:8 And then the lawless one shall be revealed, whom the Master shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth (Isa. 11:4) and bring to naught with the manifestation of His coming.
2Thes. 2:9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood,
2Thes. 2:10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing because they did not receive the love of the truth, in order for them to be saved. (Truth is described in Psalms 119:142 as Torah, and in 119:151 as YHWH’s commands.)
2Thes. 2:11 And for this reason Elohim sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood.
(References: Lev. 26:41-42, Jer. 6:10, Eze. 20:25, Isa. 6:10, Matt. 13:15, John 9:39, John 12:40.)
John 12:40, quoting Isa. 6:10, says “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they should not see with their eyes and understand with their heart, and turn, and I should heal them.”
At first glance I did not understand why YHWH would not want them to be healed, but I eventually realized He bore with them as long as He could and was turning them over to a time of punishment. This time of punishment is important to understand when these delusions, and the hardening will be over. This blindness and hardening will be removed at some point(Duet. 30:1-6). The removal of these and the circumcision of our hearts, eyes and ears, come when the times of punishment is fulfilled. I will show scriptures that show the times of punishment, and how they work along with knowing the day and hour. We will look through scriptures that predict events that fall on certain moedim (biblically commanded appointments that Israel is commanded to meet with YHWH for a feast or in one case a fast, described in Lev. Chapter 23).
A closer look into 1 Thes. 2:8, the lawless one.
If you look at the Greek word translated lawless here, speaking of the lawless one in verse 8 it is not the most commonly used word for lawless, which is anomia (Thayer YHWH’s #G458): a condition of being without law because of ignorance, or because of violating it; contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness. In the above verse the word is anomos (Thayer YHWH’s #G459) which means destitute of the Law of Moses; departing from the law; a violator of the law; lawless wicked. Paul is telling us here that the end time man of perdition will have contempt for and be devoid of the law of Moses. This is one of our identifiers of him. Along with 1 John 2:22; the one that denies the Messiah is a liar and the one that denies the Father and the Son is the anti-Messiah. He is not going to deny the Father and the Son, but he is going to deny that there is a Father and a Son. Two distinct Devine Beings who are Echad (in a Divine Unity through character and action).
A Closer Look at 1 Thes. 5:1
The very first statement in 1 Thes. 5:1 is “Of the days and seasons I need not tell you” is interesting. The days and seasons are the weekly Sabbaths and the seven high Sabbaths each year (our appointments with YHWH spoken of on page 2). What do they have to do with knowing? That is a large part of what this study is about.
There is a literary parallel here with Acts1:7; “It is not for you to know the times and seasons which the Father has put in His own authority”. The question asked, that brought on this response was, “would He restore the reign to Israel now?” After being taught by Yahushua for forty days after the resurrection, they were still expecting Him to restore physical Israel then. This restoration in Acts 1:7 is the same restoration referred to in 1 Thes. 5:1, when YHWH will restore His Reign on the earth through Israel with His Son as King. The apostles were not looking for a rapture, but for Messiah to restore the reign to Israel. These two verses may seem to contradict each other. Acts 1:7 says, “it is not for you to know the time this will happen.” Then in 1 Thes. 5:1, it says you should know. In Acts 1:8, it says that they would receive power when the Spirit came upon them. The Spirit will reveal what we need to know when we need to know it. If you look closely at a mechanical translation (meaning word for word) of these verses in Acts, it could be translated “is it not for you to know.” According to an Aramaic scholar I consulted, the Aramaic could support this translation of Acts 1 also. That would make it congruent with 1 Thes. 5:1. Either way, the taught ones will know in the end times through having their spiritual eyes opened.
A closer look at the Assembly of Sardis (Revelation Chapter 3)
In Rev. 3:3 it says to “remember then how you have received and heard.” Doctrines we have put our faith in have kept us blinded to prophecy and will keep us blinded until we go back to what the seven assemblies received in the beginning.
What the assembly of Sardis had in the beginning that they are to return to is the Sabbaths – weekly sabbaths and the seven annual High Sabbaths that were being replaced by pagan holidays. These are His appointments with His called-out people (ekklesia, which is the Greek word for a called-out people and the Hebrew equivalent is Qahal). Three of these appointments were called Chags, which means appointment by summons. All men were to go to Jerusalem for these three: Pesach (Passover), Shavuot (Greek Pentecost) and Sukkot, also known as Tabernacles. These are what the end time assembly of Sardis needed to know. How bad is it when you miss an appointment with YHWH? Christianity today is in the exact same condition as the assembly of Sardis.
At the time of Sardis, anti-Messiahs were already at work. “Anti” means “instead of.” Yahushua, being a prophet like Moses, intercedes for us with His Father (and ours) in Heaven (1 John 2:1 & Heb. 7:25). So, when someone sets themselves up as your intercessor with Avinu ba’Shamayim (our Father in Heaven) instead of Yahushua (who is our only intercessor), then that person has become an anti-Messiah. I am not talking about intercessory prayers for those in need. I’m talking about people who say you must go through them to get to the Father. Here is an example: Ignatius of Antioch somewhere around 107 to 110 CE wrote letters to all the same seven assemblies referenced in Revelation Chapters 2 and 3. He was a contemporary of John the apostle, but history said they never met. Ignatius wrote these seven letters to the same seven assemblies of Revelation saying the church was an all gentile church, and nothing at all was valid unless it was done by a bishop of the church baptism included. He was a proponent of the Nicolaitan structure which is a hierarchy with the bishops ruling over the people. Ignatius also said the churches needed to distance themselves from all things Jewish the Shabbats included. Polycarp (a disciple of John) stood up against this and was lured to Rome on the pretense of discussing the matter. When he got there, the ones that lured him there, incited the Romans against him and they burned him alive. Additionally, Ignatius said the church was now the universal church. “Universal” in Greek is Catholic. Ignatius is credited for spear heading the evolution of what is called “the church” from its Hebrew roots to a Greco-Roman religion (a great falling away). Yahushua said twice He hated the Nicolaitans in His letters to the seven assemblies. Why? Because they set themselves up as intercessors between the people and they rule over the people. They were technically anti-Messiahs. Yahushua is our only intercessor as said above and no one else is to rule over His people. They can serve the people but not rule over them. The word Nicolaitan is a contraction of nike, meaning victory over or destruction of, and the word laos (laity) people. In other words, conquer and rule over the people. Yahushua says we are not to do that:
Mat. 20:25 But Yahushua called them near and said, “You know that the rulers of the nations are masters over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them.
Mat. 20:26 “But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you, let him be your servant.
Mat. 20:27 “And whoever wishes to be first among you, let him be your servant,
Mat. 20:28 even as the Son of Adam did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” ( Mar. 10:45, Isa. 49:1-7).
This is what we are to do, be servants to the people, not rule over them.
Days and Seasons
There is something we are to watch for that will tell us when, this day of YHWH is going to happen, and it is related to the Sabbaths and High Sabbaths each year. Proof text of what the days and seasons represent is Gen. 1:14. The lights in heaven are to separate night from day, be for signs (Strong’s #H226), and seasons (Strong’s #H4150). Now let us look at the meanings of these words in Hebrew. Strong’s #H226 is the Hebrew word oth and is where we get the English word oath. Oth means a sign, a distinguishing mark. This is the same word used in Exo. 31:13 as follows: “And you speak to the children of Israel, saying, My Sabbaths you are to guard by all means, for it is a sign (a mark upon you) between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, YHWH, am setting you apart.” These lights in the heavens are to mark something.
Now for the seasons. Again in Gen.1:14 the Hebrew word moedim which means appointed time, sacred season, set feast. (Strong’s # H4150) This is the same word used in Lev. 23 to describe YHWH’s seven yearly High Sabbaths (Mikra Moedim = Festive Appointments). In other words, it is saying that the sun, moon and stars were created to be the signs that tell us when we are to meet with YHWH for His weekly Shabbat and His seven yearly appointments. All are feast days that we do not work, except Yom Kippurim, which is a non-workday and instead of feasting, you fast. Paul tells the Thessalonians that they know these times and seasons and through that knowledge they can identify the time and the season of the great and awesome day of YHWH. Notice also that these Sabbaths are what set YHWH’s chosen people apart from the rest of the world.
Summary of the preceding
From these scriptures we know that the day of YHWH’s wrath should not take us as a thief and if it does it could be a result of our works not being complete before Elohim. Also, we need not feed ourselves delusions that are not supported by the truth, which is the Word, and the Word is Torah (Psalms 119:142 & 151), or our punishment will be, He will give us a delusion to believe the lie and will come and we will not know the day or the hour. Sounds like not knowing is not good.
We know that the days and seasons described above are related to knowing the day and hour of the Day of YHWH.
Why do we need to know?
A common question is, “why would we need to know if we are being righteous?” The answers are in the scriptures. If they were not, we would not be held responsible for knowing. As we go through everything it will become obvious why we need to know. In a short statement (that will be expanded later in this article), we need to know when our light is to be on the top of a mountain shining to all that can see it, and when to go into the house, enter your rooms, and shut your doors behind yourself for a little while until the displeasure is past. This is the time that YHWH comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their crookedness (Isaiah 26:20-21). Also, knowing the promises from YHWH that are for these times and understanding our role is very comforting. It will help us have the strength to get through these times when they come.
I can already hear people saying in loud voices, No One Knows the Day and the Hour! They are referring to Matt. 24:36 and Mark 13:32, which says exactly that, but this time is not the same as what is spoken of in 1 Thes. 5:1-8 when we see YHWH come out of His place to punish the nations. I am going to plug in here a short explanation I wrote a few years back.
Matthew Chapter 24 verses 35 & 36; Also Mark 13 verses 31 & 32
When is the day and the hour that nobody knows?
People quote these verses saying that no one knows the day and the hour of the Day of YHWH, Quote as follows.
Mat 24:35 “The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My words shall by no means pass away.
Mat 24:36 “But concerning that day and the hour no one knows, not even the messengers of the heavens, but My Father only.
Mar 13:31 “The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My words shall by no means pass away.
Mar 13:32 “But concerning that day and the hour no one knows, not even the messengers in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Yahushua was responding to specific questions in Matthew Chapter 24 as follows.
Mat 24:3 And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the taught ones came to Him separately, saying, “Say to us, when shall this be, and what is the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
The apostles were most likely expecting that His return and the end of the age would be the same time, but His coming is on the Day of YHWH and the end of the age is at the end of the millennium Reign. The end of the age is when the heavens and the earth are destroyed by fire as we see in 2 Peter 2:10:13. This is when satan is let loose for a little while to deceive the nations again and comes against the Kadosh land. It is the time Peter talks about this time in the following.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of YHWH shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:11 Seeing all these are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be in set-apart behavior and reverence,
2Pe 3:12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of Elohim, through which the heavens shall be destroyed, being set on fire, and the elements melt with intense heat!
2Pe 3:13 But according to His promise we wait for a renewed heavens and a renewed earth (Isa. 65:17 & 66:22) in which righteousness dwells (Rev. 21:1).
This is the time when the heavens and the earth are refined by fire. It is when satan and all that choose him will be destroyed by the fire. This is when the last thing to be put under the feet of Yahushua is put under his feet. That is death. There will no longer be death because all that are left at this time are immortal and will receive their immortal bodies, which can walk in the fire. Satan and all the angels that followed him will become mortal and burn to ashes. Also, the humans that chose satan’s seed over the seed of Avinu will burn and be gone. The righteous will assume the immortal positions that are vacated when satan and his followers assume our mortal positions.
According to 1 Cor. 15:24-28 as follows death is the last thing put under His feet before He turns the Reign back over to the Father.
1Co 15:24 then the end, when He delivers up the reign to Elohim the Father, when He has brought to naught all rule and all authority and power.
1Co 15:25 For He has to reign until He has put all enemies under His feet.
1Co 15:26 The last enemy to be brought to naught is death.
1Co 15:27 For “He has put all under His feet.” But when He says “all are put under Him,” it is clear that He who put all under Him is excepted.
1Co 15:28 And when all are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself shall also be subject to
Him who put all under Him, in order that Elohim be all in all.
This day and hour that no man knows, not even the angels or the Son, is the end of the millennium when the New Jerusalem is going to come down on the renewed earth.
In both books, Matthew and Mark immediately before saying that this is a day that no one knows He says, “the heavens and earth shall pass away but My words by no means shall pass away”.
He is responding here directly to the question about the end of the age being the day that nobody knows. Otherwise, the statements made in 1 Thes. 5:4 and Rev. 3:3 would be a direct contradiction of Matt. 24:36 and Mark 13:32.
1Th 5:4 But you, brothers, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
Rev 3:3 “Remember, then, how you have received, and heard. And watch and repent. If then, you do not wake up, I shall come upon you as a thief, and you shall not know at all what hour I come upon you.
The Day of YHWH represents the times He comes out of His place to punish evil. It can and does have multiple fulfillments. It is obvious that the one no one knows even the Son is at the end of the age, being the end of the Thousand-year Reign of Yahushua. Why does no one but the Father know? Most likely it is a numbers thing. I go into that in the article named Restoration of The Reign of Elohim.
The Literary Structures to Figure Out How to Determine the Day of YHWH
In this article I will use a power point picture (Menorah Tabloid) as a visual aid. This power point uses the Menorah to hang biblical events on. Starting with day one of creation you can put the seven days of creation on the seven lamps, but you do not see much. However, when you add any of the other things in scripture that come in groups of seven (the seven days of creation, the seven moedim, seven spirits in Isaiah Chapter 11 and the seven Assemblies in Revelation Chapters 2 and 3), then you can begin to see relationships between them all.
I did not invent this idea. I first saw the menorah being used this way by Hollisa Alewine. She has an in-depth, scholarly study on what I am talking about and I would recommend anyone to investigate who wants to go to great depth of this concept. I credit her with awakening me to a deeper understanding of some of the Hebrew that I will use.
Some of Hollisa’s ideas were not new to me. One of them being a written structure sometimes used in scripture is known as chiasmus. Chiasmus are when, for instance you have three verses that lead up to a proclamation in the fourth verse. Then you have three verses that say the same thing, or a mirror image of it, in the reverse order. Chiasmus is referring to a sequence of elements of a sentence or verse, paragraph, Chapter or even book which are then repeated and developed but in reverse order. It is sometimes called inverted parallelism. It is like the writer makes a sandwich, with the first three verses being the top piece of bread and the fourth verse being the meat and the last three verses being the bottom piece of bread. The meat is the thing we need to learn from, in context with the leading and following verses. This is called a chiasm with a central clause. The effect of this pattern is to give prominence to the central statement but sometimes there is no central element. This type of chiasm is more cause and effect. For instance, in Genesis 9:6; (A) Whoever sheds- (B) the blood- (C) of man- (C) by man- (B) shall his blood- (A) be shed. This is a simple chiasm without a central part. These types I call, cause and effect chiasms.
This structure is amazing because there are perfect parallel chiasms all through the Torah. The relationships between these parallel chiasms take us to a deeper understanding of where they appear both in the first appearance and the second appearance. For example, we could think we understood the information in the first appearance and when compared to the information in the second, gain new understanding in the first. Then we gain more understanding of the second appearance. This proves without a doubt the divine inspiration of all scripture because these parallel chiasms are in books of the bible that were not written at the same time or by the same author.
These groups of sevens mentioned above that I will use in this study are the seven days of creation and what happened on each day: the seven Moedim (feasts as they are commonly known) listed in Leviticus 23; the seven spirits that rest on Mashiach (Messiah); and the seven assemblies that Yahushua sends letters to in Revelation Chapters 2 and 3.
A brief look at the evolution of my coming to the point of writing this article
After several years of studying Tanak (known as the Old Testament by most), and the writings of the Apostles (known as the New Testament by Christians and the Brit Chadasha by most Hebrew roots people, meaning Renewed Covenant), I began to see these chiasms and literary parallels. I began to use them to bring scriptures together that were saying the same things. Then I began to see what I call “the big picture of prophecy.” The observation of the use of chiasms in scripture was a breakthrough in understanding scripture, but recognizing parallel chiasms began to give me the understanding of YHWH’s changes and progressions through time in relationship to the total understanding. It has helped me understand what has been, and what will be. Certainly, there are still things that there is not enough information currently to know completely. It would be wonderful to understand everything completely, but for now we have what we have, and I believe it is enough to see the big picture of what is going on. By knowing what is going to happen, I have gained a great deal of Shalom. If we are going to be YHWH’s light in the great dark day, we must have total Shalom. Just knowing that YHWH is the source of everything that exists and that He is in 100% control of His creation 100% of the time should give us Shalom. We are expected to know things that are pertinent for us to know, so that we know what to do and when to do it. My hope is to make clear, through scripture, what it is we need to know and why we need to know it. Prophecy tells us there is a time coming (Dan. 12:1-7) that there shall be a time of distress, such as never was since there was a nation, until that time. It is important to understand that YHWH’s wrath is not on His chosen people ( 1 Thes. 1:10 & 5:9). When faced with conditions that seem to be certain destruction upon us (being on the edge of the sea and the enemy behind you), we are to be still and wait on YHWH, knowing that He is in 100% control of what is happening. We must remain obedient to His Torah or we could receive more refining (hardship) to bring us into submission to His Torah.
An analogy I use when explaining the need for seeing the big picture of prophecy is that it is like buying a puzzle that covers a card table, never looking at the picture on the lid of the box that shows what the picture is, and then trying to put the puzzle together. We have been in a partial blindness for centuries (Romans 11:25), but now that partial blindness is coming off. The Menorah is like the table the puzzle is laying on that keeps all the information in order.
Scriptural principles that lead to deeper understandings
Isa. 46:9 Remember the former events of old, for I am El, and there is no one else – Elohim, and there is no one like Me,
Isa. 46:10 declaring the end from the beginning, and from of old that which has not yet been done, saying, ‘My counsel does stand, and all My delight I do,’
Isa. 48:3 I have declared the former events from the beginning, and they went forth from My mouth, and I made you hear them. Suddenly I acted, and they came to be.
This is especially important to know. We can understand what is now and what is coming if we understand what has been. We will be comparing end time prophecies with events in the beginning.
One thing that is important to understand is, nothing can be correctly understood in the Tanak (old testament) without knowing the context of the preceding history, particularly in the allegorical. All prophecy gives us the history. It will tell us what Israel was doing, then what will happen to them, or what has happened to them, as a good or bad consequence of their actions. After the historical information comes the prophetic. Isaiah Chapter 8 is a good example. When we examine in depth what Israel was doing that caused their destruction, then we know what not to do in the prophetic times that are portrayed next.
The principle of the seed (read the article “The Seeds” now)
The principle of the seed is an example of what is seen in the beginning that has carried forward to this day. It is especially important for knowing the last event just before the Day of YHWH because we will be choosing which seed, we want to go with. The seed of satan, which will seek to satisfy the flesh through a human king, and the seed of YHWH who will choose YHWH to be their King and wait on Him. Those who choose the seed of satan want to crush the head of the seed of YHWH. The seed that is prophesied to crush the head of the serpent (satan). We see this played out with Cain and Abel.
Since we can see the end from the beginning and Yahushua tells us that we will not be able to understand any of His parables if we do not understand the seed parables (Mark 4:13), this is a good time to look at the Cain and Abel a little closer.
Cain gave of the fruit of the ground, which was cursed. Abel gave a blood offering. Cain’s offering was not acceptable, and Abel’s was. Why? Abel was recognizing the need of atonement until redemption. That redemption would come from the Seed that would crush the head of the serpent. Abel offered the innocent blood in leu of his own corrupted blood until the Redeemer would come. Also, the blood was to atone for the cursed state of the ground, so that the grain (minka) offering would be acceptable. Why? Abel would have understood that he was not capable of redeeming himself. And a blood offering was needed to atone for him until he was redeemed. How did Abel know what to offer?
He was following what YHWH did. YHWH slayed an innocent animal, shedding its blood, to make a covering (atonement) for Adam and Eve. That covering for Adam and Eve wasn’t just clothes. It was a temporary covering of their sin. The animal was a surrogate for them. He took the innocent animal’s blood in place of their corrupted blood as atonement till the One would come that would make a permanent atonement through His blood. They were afraid because they were naked (without a covering physically and spiritually), not because they heard YHWH’s voice. They had lost their kippur (covering) and their kappara (atonement). They knew at that point they had to discern between truth and the lies of deception to keep themselves righteous. The light of eternal life had been removed and they didn’t know what to do next. Their blood that contained the light and eternal life had been corrupted by mixture. Light and darkness can’t occupy the same space at the same time. The light left them, which was their covering if they were obedient. YHWH showed them what to do, until the Seed would come. Cain didn’t see that need and his offering was of that which was cursed. That opened the door for him to accept the seed of satan. Not seeing the need for atonement indicates he felt that he could atone for himself. Recognizing the need for atonement was the difference between the one that followed the seed of Elohim and the one that chose the seed of satan. Scripture says Abel’s minka was accepted. In Leviticus the grain offerings are always referred to as minka offerings. It is possible that Abel offered the lamb to atone for the ground and give himself a covering and possibly gave a grain offering that would at that point be acceptable.
What we can derive from this is, those who choose to participate with the seed of satan that dwells in us all are those that see no need for atonement, therefore will reject Yahushua’s redemption. They will live in the image of the evil that dwells in them, therefore image satan. These people are the stumbling blocks and those doing lawlessness in Matt. 13:41, who will be thrown in the fire with the darnel (tares).
From the fall of Adam and Eve forward, humanity has to choose which seed would control the body. Yahushua tells us how the seed of the knowledge of evil got into the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good in the parable of the wheat and the darnel (tares) in Matthew Chapter 13. YHWH would be violating a Torah principle if he placed two diverse seeds in the same fruit (Duet. 22:9). Matt. 13:25 tells us that satan came in darkness and planted his poison seeds in YHWH’s field (humanity) (Matt. 13:37-38).
If satan planted the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, then he would be a co-creator with Avinu ba’Shamayim (our Father in Heaven) and Yahushua His Son. YHWH planted every tree that was pleasant to look at and good for food.
Joh 1:3 All came to be through Him, and without Him not even one came to be that came to be (Eph 3:9, Col 1:16, Heb 1:2, Heb 11:3, 2Pe 3:5, Psa 33:6).
Chava (Eve) looked and said that the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was pleasant to look at and good for food, which would indicate YHWH planted it, but without the seed of the knowledge of evil in the fruit. The enemy came in darkness and put his seed in the fruit with (Matt. 13:25) YHWH’s seed.
Another principle is one-two-one. Adam was one, then Chava (Eve) was created from him, then the two became one through their offspring. Israel was one, then because of the sins of Solomon Israel became two nations. When they become one again, they will produce the offspring that they were supposed to produce when they received the Torah (taking Torah to the nations and bringing all the Nations to YHWH). There are two witnesses we see early in Torah. They are the heavens and the earth. There is a heavenly witness to everything and an earthly witness. Without both of those, there is no offspring (no fruit). Seven times in Revelation it said that the end-time remnant people will have the witness of Yahushua and the commands of the Father (Revelation 1:2, 1:9, 6:12, 12:17, 14:12, 19:10, and 20:4). Judah, the earthly witness, has been following the commands of the Father in their way and the Christains have had the witness of Yahushua. A couple of verses that are happening in the time just before YHWH comes out of His place are Rev. 12:17 and 14:12. The two houses of Israel, Judah and the House of Israel (the northern ten tribes known as the lost sheep of Israel), must become one again before they can produce fruit. This event is shown in Ezekiel 37. It happens after the House of Israel is brought back to the promise land (Micah 5:2-3).
Before we go deep into the scriptures that describe the signs, we can identify that will tell us when the Day of YHWH is going to be, I am going to go through the first three candle events briefly. Then I will go into much more detail on the last four candle events. I will talk about each one of them and what will happen at those events. After this I will talk about the prophetic events that happen at each one, going through them all, and I will list the supporting scriptures. As I am just one part of the body, I fully expect these understandings and teachings to be refined when the rest of the body reads this. It takes us all to make anything like this as good as it can be. I am expecting feedback.
The First Candle
The first candle on the Menorah is associated with Day one of creation. This is when light is separated from darkness.
The Spirit that rests on Messiah associated with the first candle is Wisdom. The beginning of Wisdom is the fear of YHWH. The fear of YHWH is not a sudden terror kind of fear (Hebrew baw-ath BDB Definition H1204). The word here is yaw-ray (BDB Definition H3372) to fear, revere, be afraid, to stand in awe, be awed, reverence, honor, respect, to cause astonishment and awe, be held in awe, to inspire reverence or godly fear or awe, to make afraid, terrify.
The Feast associated with the first candle is Pesach (Passover). This is when Yahushua’s nefesh (flesh) died, the neshamah (breath of life) left him and He went into sheol. The light and the eternal life that was in Him overcame the darkness leaving satan’s house a wreck. Light was separated from darkness.
Notice that when you follow the first candle down to the fourth you will pass through the center candle which is the Spirit of YHWH. The Spirit of YHWH is the trunk and the root which feeds all the others. When you pass through it you will connect to the seventh candle which is the fear of YHWH perfected through the Spirit. At this time YHWH will come out of His place to separate light from darkness (Isa. 26:21). It is a cause-and-effect chiasm. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of YHWH (Psalms 111:10, Job 28:28, Proverbs 1:7 & 9:10, Ecclesiastes 12:13). This reminds me of Shema Yisrael (hear to understand who YHWH is).
The Second Candle
The second candle is associated with day two of creation when the waters were separated creating a firmament (Hebrew rakia) which YHWH called the heavens (Hebrew shamayim).
The Spirit associated with this day is Understanding. According to the mouth of YHWH in Job 28:28; “And He said to man, see, the fear of YHWH, that is wisdom (spirit connected to the first day), and to turn from evil is understanding”. Understanding is obedience which in Hebrew would be shamar – (guard to do the Torah Teachings of YHWH).
The assembly associated with this candle is Smurna which was perfect. If you follow down this branch of the Menorah to the Spirit you will see this branch connects to the trunk at the same place as the assembly associated with the sixth candle, Which is the assembly of Philadelphia. It is also considered perfect, again, showing the chiastic structure.
The feast on this candle is Unleavened Bread. All that hear the Words of YHWH (Shema-fear of YHWH, first candle) and are obedient (Shamar-guard to do, second candle) are made perfect by His cleansing. Yahushua’s obedience was perfected when He was raised from the grave to sit at the Right Hand of His Father. His perfection qualified Him to redeem all those that He brought out of sheol, that would accept Him as their Kinsman Redeemer and follow in obedience to the Torah teachings of YHWH (shamar-guard to do).
These two assemblies, Smurna and Philadelphia, are those that keep the commands of the Father as Yahushua did (Matt. 5:17, 1 John 2:4 & 3:1-11, John 3:36, Heb. 3:18 & Romans 8:1-7). As said above, seven times in Revelation it says that His end time remnant people are those that have the commands of the Father and the witness of Yahushua (Ex. Rev. 12:17 & 14:12). Those that do not obey the Commands of the Torah of YHWH will not be His Royal Priesthood, His treasured possession (Exodus 9:5-6, quoted in 1 Peter 2:8-9). Unless they repent and turn back.
The Third Candle
The third candle which is associated with the third day of creation. This is when YHWH created the dry land (eretz) and the grasses, plants and trees with the seed in them.
The Spirit on this candle is Council.
The Feast that is associated with this candle is First Fruits. This is Yahushua’s resurrection which completes the process of defeating death as said above. Now we who accept His redemption and follow in obedience become the living stones (1 Peter2:5) that YHWH’s House is built with (2 Corinthians 5:1 & 2 Peter 1:13). We are created from the dust (afar) of the ground (adamah). When we follow through as said above, being immersed into death with Yahushua then rise out of the living water we receive the Seed of Elohim (1 John 3:9) which is the Spirit of the Father and the Son (Rom. 8:10-12). We are a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17, Eph. 4:22-24 & Col. 3:10) When we give scriptural council that is fruit with YHWH’s seed in it. Those who receive and consume it will get the seed also. We will look at the chiastic connection of the third candle with the fifth candle when we get to the fifth candle.
Summary of the first three Moedim
The first three moedim are allegorically relate to the first coming of Messiah. They are about the evolution of YHWH’s chosen evolving and becoming the living stones that His house will be built with. I have not gone into these in detail at all because my focus is on how we can know and why we need to know the day and hour of the Day of YHWH. This information is contained in the fall and winter Moedim that we are now going to look at.
I want to mention that these next three feast are allegorically connected to the events that lead up to YHWH coming out of His place to destroy evil and take Israel back to the land promised to Abraham.
Events that happen just before or at Shavuot when the Day of YHWH is near.
What I am about to describe is in Rev. 12:14 as follows. And the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, to fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, (Rev. 12:7) from the presence of the serpent. This is about the times that Daniel saw in the latter days that end with the three and one-half moedim. The latter end of the times is described in Daniel 12:1 as, “And there shall be a time of distress, such as never was since there was a nation (Israel), until that time”. Then one of the angels on either side of the river asks the Man dressed in linen “how long till the end of these matters” and He said “for a moed, moedim and a half. The exact same statement is made in Rev. 12:14. The woman is given two wings of a great eagle, to fly into her place, where she is nourished for a time (moed), times (moedim) and a half time (half moed) from the presence of the serpent. These are the last three and a half moedim before the Day of YHWH when He comes out of His place and His wrath comes on nations, from Shavuot to the middle of Sukkot (Isa. 26:20-21).
These final three and a half moedim are in Revelation Chapter 14 as follows. The spring and summer harvest are barley and wheat; the fall and winter harvest (after Yom Teruah) is grapes and olives. The events described in Revelation Chapter 14:1-13 will have to be after Pesach because the 144,000 are with Yahushua when the harbingers (warnings) are being pronounced before the last harvest of the summer and the winter harvests have begun. Since the 144,000 are first fruits they must be marked and join Yahushua at the first fruits offering in unleavened bread. What we are told in Revelation Chapter 14 are the things happening just before the Shavuot that begins the last three and a half moedim. Then in Rev. 14:14-20 are the wheat and grape harvest. This is clearly the same event described in Joel 3:13 which is described as the valley of Yehoshaphat and the valley of decision. We can know this through the literary parallels as follows. Matthew Chapter 13:24-43 is the wheat harvest which begins a little before Shavuot. Yahushua states in Matthew 13:40-41, after explaining the parable of the wheat and darnel (tares) as follows. Mat 13:40 “As the darnel, then, is gathered and burned in the fire. These events are at the same time Daniel is told will be the final end of the matters that he saw.
Mat. 13:40 “As the darnel, then, is gathered and burned in the fire, so it shall be at the end of this age.
Mat 13:41 “The Son of Aḏam shall send out His messengers, and they shall gather out of
His reign all the stumbling-blocks, (darnel or tares Matt. 13:25) and those doing lawlessness.
Mat. 13:43 tells us that at this time the righteous will shine forth as the sun. Daniel 12:3 says, “And those who have insight shall shine like the brightness of the expanse, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.” Look on the left side of the Menorah Tabloid at the scriptures that show that we will be that light in this great dark day.
The statement “remove the stumbling blocks and those doing lawlessness” is a quote from Zephaniah 1:3. Then in Zephaniah 1:14 it is said “Near is the great day of YHWH.” This statement is repeated in Joel 2:1 and 3:14 “crowds, crowds in the valley of decision! For the day of YHWH is near in the valley of decision”.
Read all of Zephaniah and Joel and you will see many more parallels but here I am showing the particular connections between the parable of the wheat and darnel (tares) and Joel and Zephaniah. The parallels continue. In Obadiah, we see Edom (Esaw-the memory of Amalek) being completely destroyed. In 1:5 the following statement is made, “The day of YHWH is near upon all the nations”. Also, what is spoken of in Obadiah is parallel with Psalms Chapter 83, which fits with Joel Chapter 3, speaking of the Valley of Yehoshaphat which is called the valley of decision and the destruction of Edom (Esaw) in Obadiah.
What we are able to see through all these connections is that the destruction of the stumbling blocks and those doing lawlessness (those that chose the seed of satan), the removal of the darnel (tares, the seed satan planted, Matt. 13:41), and the destruction of Edom is these all begin just before or at Shavuot and then continue through the end of the harvest in that year. In Joel Chapter 3 this time is clearly the harvest of the wheat and grapes as stated in 3:13, “Put in the sickle, for the harvest has grown ripe. Come down, for the winepress is filled and the vats overflow, for the evil is great”. Revelation 14:14-20 is a perfect parallel with the events in Joel Chapter 3:13 and is at the same time that the darnel (tares) is harvested and thrown in the fire.
The parallels continue through Revelation Chapter 14. The harbingers (warnings) are being pronounced in verses 6-13, then verse 8 states that “Babel is fallen, is fallen”. Then in verses 9 and 10 we are warned not to worship the beast or take the mark of the beast on his forehead or hand or we will drink of the wrath of Elohim (my paraphrase). Then as said above in verses 14-20 we see the wheat and grape harvest which parallels Joel 3:13. Here we can see that the offer of the mark of the beast is after the fall of Babel.
The fall of Babel is shown in Revelation Chapter 16:17-19
17 And the seventh messenger pours out his bowl and a voice came out of the Dwelling Place in heaven, from the throne, “saying it is done.”
18 And there came to be noises and thunders and lightnings. And there came to be a great earthquake, such a mighty earthquake as had not come to be since men were on earth.
19 And the great city became divided into three parts, and the cities of the nation’s fall. And great Babel was remembered before Elohim, to give her the cup of wine of the fierceness of His wrath.
The fall of Babel as shown above is through weather events and a mighty earthquake. Gog and his band are destroyed by the same type of events as follows.
Eze 38:19 “For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken, ‘On that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Yisrael,
Eze 38:20 so that the fish of the sea, and the birds of the heavens, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping creatures that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall fall to the ground.’
Eze 38:21 “And I shall call for a sword against Gog on all My mountains,” declares the Master YHWH, “the sword of each one being against his brother.
Eze 38:22 “And I shall judge him with pestilence and blood, and rain down flooding rain and hailstones, fire and sulphur, on him and on his bands and on the many peoples who are with him.
Eze 38:23 “And I shall exalt Myself and set Myself apart, and I shall be known in the eyes of many nations. And they shall know that I am YHWH.” ’
YHWH is not only destroying the armies that Gog brings with him but also the Nation of Magog as follows.
Eze 39:6 “And I shall send fire upon Magog and on those who live undisturbed in the coastlands. And they shall know that I am YHWH.
Eze 39:7 “And I shall make My set-apart Name known in the midst of My people Yisrael, and not let My set-apart Name be profaned any more. And the nations shall know that I am YHWH, the Set-apart One in Yisrael.
Eze 39:8 “See, it shall come, and it shall be done,” declares the Master YHWH. “This is the day of which I have spoken (the day of YHWH).”
Read Ezekiel Chapters 37-39 and notice how many times YHWH says, “so that Israel will know who I am, and the Nations will know who I am.” The events in these Chapters are about Israel knowing again who they are and about the nations of the world knowing who YHWH is through the awakening of Israel to their true identity and the destruction of Gog and his band.
Gog and his band are also destroyed by the same type of events as Babel. Also, all the false prophets and their whitewashed doctrinal walls will fall by the same events as follows.
Eze 13:12 and see, the wall shall fall! Shall you not be asked, ‘Where is the coating with which you coated it?’ ”
Eze 13:13 Therefore thus said the Master YHWH, “I shall break down with a stormy wind in My wrath, and a flooding rain in My displeasure, and great hailstones in wrath, to consume.
Eze 13:14 “And I shall throw down the wall you have coated with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, and its foundation shall be uncovered. And it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst of it. And you shall know that I am YHWH.
Eze 13:15 “So I shall complete My wrath on the wall and on those coating it with whitewash, and say to you, ‘The wall is no more, nor those whitewashing it.’ “
What is developing here through these literary connections, is all these events are unfolding just before, and at Shavuot, then continuing through the wheat and grape harvest. What we have seen so far is that Babel, Gog, false prophets and their doctrinal walls all fall by the same types of events.
We began this delving into the literary parallels with Matthew 13:41. To go back now to Matthew 13:43 that I mentioned on page 10, “Then the righteous shall shine forth as the sun in the reign of their Father. Now back to Daniel Chapter 12:3, “And those who have insight shall shine like the brightness of the expanse, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.” All of the following references speak of the righteous being these lights. Matthew 5:14-15 & 13:43, Isaiah 49:6 (quoted in Acts 13:47), and 60:1-4, Daniel 12:13 and John 12:46.
Worshiping the beast
We are told not to worship the beast. What would be considered worshiping the beast? Remember that the second mention of worship in the Torah is when Eliezar, Abraham’s servant, falls on his face and thanks YHWH for answering his prayer and prospering his mission to find Isaac a wife. A mark on your forehead is to hear and understand, and a mark on your hand is to do. What we are to do at this time is to not put our faith in a man or a king but only in YHWH and wait on Him to deliver us no matter what it looks like. The beast will make promises to restore all the things your flesh desires, give back your idols and make them even better (sports, money, fancy cars, and houses etc.). All you must do is believe that he has prosper your way and delivered you (he becomes your deliverance instead of Yahushua). If you thank the beast for delivering you, that is worship. Then to receive all this, you must sign some sort of a pledge of allegiance, the mark. This will come during a time that the distress is worse than it ever has been since there was a nation mentioned before. Read Daniel 12:1: “Now at that time Mikael shall stand up, the great head who is standing over the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of distress, such as never was since there was a nation, until that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book.”
Our instructions for this time of distress are to guard the commands of Elohim and hold to the belief of Yahushua as follows: Rev 14:12 “Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, (Rev. 12:17) here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of Yahushua.”
Revelation 12:7-17 as follows – special note to Rev. 12:17.
Rev 12:7 And there came to be fighting in the heaven: Mikael and his messengers fought against the dragon. And the dragon and his messengers fought,
Rev 12:8 but they were not strong enough, nor was a place found for them in the heaven any longer.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads all the world astray. He was thrown to the earth, and his messengers were thrown out with him.
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in the heaven, “Now have come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohimb and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down. (Footnote: bSee Rev 11:15, the seventh trumpet)
Rev 12:11 “And they overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Rev 12:12 “Because of this rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has little time.” (Daniel 12:6, how long till the end of these matters)
Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he persecuted the woman (Judah, known as Jews today) who gave birth to the male child.
Rev 12:14 And the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, to fly into the wilderness to her place (Obadiah 1:17), where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, (Dan. 12:17) from the presence of the serpent.
Again, we see the three and one half moedim.
Rev 12:15 And out of his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river after the woman, to cause her to be swept away by the river.
Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of Yahushua Messiah.
When satan sees he cannot destroy Judah through Gog (Eze. Chapters 38 & 39) and the Esaw (Obadiah Chapter 1 and Psalms 83) then he will come after those that have the commands of Elohim and the witness of Yahushua, but they will overcome satan by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of witness (Rev. 12:11). Yahushua gives us encouragement for these times when He speaks prophetically in Luke 10:18 as follows.
Luke 10:18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan falling out of the heaven as lightning.
Luke 10:19 “See, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and none at all shall hurt you.
Luke 10:20 “But do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names have been written in the heavens.”
Things that are removed at that time.
The first event that will happen that we can identify as the beginning of all these events is the destruction of Gog and his band. Then in the same time period Babel the great will fall (Rev. 14:8, 16:19, 17:5, 18:2 & 18:2,10 & 21, Jer. 51:8 & Isa. 21:9).
All false prophets along with their false prophecies and doctrines (Eze. full Chapters 13 & 34, Zac. 10:3-4 & Jer. 3:15 & 23:1-4) will be removed at this time.
Then at Shavuot the darnel (tares) are removed (the knowledge of evil that dwells in us) and the stumbling blocks and those doing lawlessness (Mat. 13:41). Our only inclination will be for good as already said. He will remove all idols (Eze. 20:30-38). When He brings you out from where you are into the wilderness of the nations to enter into judgment with you face to face. You will not, have your fancy houses, cars, money, sports, etc. All the things that have been in front of your face so that you could not see Truth.
Generational curses will be removed (Jer. 31:29-30 & Eze. 18:1-4). Then He writes His Torah on our hearts (Jer. 31:31-34 & Heb. 8:8-12 & 10:16-17). Also, at this time He will give us a heart of flesh and not of stone (Eze. 11:19-20 & 36:25-27). He will pour out His Spirit on His Chosen people, Israel (Eze. 37:6-14 & 39:29, 36:26-27). He is also pouring out His Spirit on all flesh as described in Joel 2:28.
Eze 37:23 “And they shall no longer defile themselves with their idols, nor with their disgusting matters, nor with any of their transgressions. And I shall save them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and I shall cleanse them. And they shall be My people, and I be their Elohim.”
This is the same thing we see in Ezekiel Chapter 36 as follows.
Eze 36:25 “And I shall sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean – from all your filthiness and from all your idols I cleanse you.
Eze 36:26 “And I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh (same event as Jer. 31:27-34).
Eze 36:27 and put My Spirit within you. And I shall cause you to walk in My laws and guard My right-rulings and shall do them.” (Eze. 11:19-20, Eze. 37:6-14, Eze. 39:29).
At this time YHWH is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh and in particular His chosen people Israel. This is just before He brings them back to the land. Notice in Ezekiel Chapter 37 the House of Israel receives the Spirit while still in exile but does not become one with Judah until Israel returns to the land. They will be one spiritually with Judah when Judah recognizes Yahushua as Messiah (Zac.12:10), but they must return to the promise land to complete the process. In this same time period, He pours out His spirit on all flesh.
Joe 2:28 “And after this it shall be that I pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men dream dreams, your young men see visions.
Joe 2:29 “And also on the male servants and on the female servants I shall pour out My Spirit in those days.
Joe 2:30 “And I shall give signs in the heavens and upon the earth: blood and fire and columns of smoke,
Joe 2:31 the sun is turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of .
Joe 2:32 “And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of YHWH shall be delivered.b For on Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim there shall be an escape (Isa. 4:2-3, Oba. 1:17 & Rev. 14:1) as YHWH has said, and among the survivors whom YHWH calls. (Footnotes: bAct. 2:21, Rom. 10:13.)
Here I want to take note of the fact that Gog and his band are destroyed before YHWH pours out His Spirit on all flesh. Joe 2:20 “And the Northerner I shall remove far from you and drive him away into a dry and deserted land, with his face toward the eastern sea and his rear toward the western sea. And his stench shall come up and his smell rise, for he has done greatly.”
It is interesting that in places this out pouring of His Spirit is on all Israel, both the House of Israel and Judah, but in Joel 2:28 it is poured out on all flesh. The understanding is what is said in Eze. 39, He has destroyed Gog and His band and will bring back all of Israel to the promise land so that the whole world will know who He is (Joel 2:28) and Israel will know who He is.
The decision against the nations that come against Jerusalem has already been made. He will destroy them, but for Israel and Judah they will have to decide between the beast (the flesh) and the Spirit (YHWH) at this time. There is a resurrection at the beginning of the last three and a half moedim as follows. Dan 12:2 and many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth wake up, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches, everlasting abhorrence. It is easy to see here that some of those that are resurrected don’t make the right decision.
To sum up what is happening, YHWH says in Joel 2:11 that the army that comes across the land of Israel (Gog and his band) is His army. YHWH is refining His people and cleaning His house before His wrath comes on the nations to let us go back to our inheritance, the land promised to Abraham. Then YHWH is removing everything that would cause you to be deceived through ignorance, accident or deception. This is why it is said in Ezekiel Chapter 14:14-20 that during this time period (the valley of decision Joel 3:14) Noah, Daniel & Job would deliver only themselves by their righteousness and not sons and daughters. At this time everything that would influence YHWH’s people to make a wrong decision is removed. Everyone must make their own decision. Everyone lives or dies for their own sin (Eze. Chapter 18). The flip side to this is we have the potential to deliver sons and daughters now by planting seeds of righteousness in them. In most cases those seeds will not germinate until all the above are removed, but if the ground is fertile, they will germinate at this time. Those that choose to take what the false prophet offers will suffer the same punishment as the beast.
These sins of ignorance, accident and deception are what Yahushua continues to intercede for on our behalf after He has cleansed us of all sin (1 John Chapters 1-5). What caused these sins in YHWH’s people was the knowledge of evil that has dwelt in us, but once it is removed, we will be like Adam knowing only the truth of Elohim. Why? Because He will have removed the seed satan planted from us, the tare (Matt. 13:41), and written His Torah on our hearts (Jer. 31:29-34), and given us a heart of flesh, and removed our heart of stone, and will cause us to follow His Torah (Eze. 36:27) and given us a new spirit (Eze. 36:27).
From Shavuot forward, with much more detail
Here are more statements now that will be supported by the scriptures given later as said above. At Shavuot, some year the world will enter a period described in Daniel 12:7 and Revelation 12:14. This time period in both cases is described as a moed, moedim and a half moedim. Three- and one-half years, 42 months and 1260 days are all over prophecy and are certainly pertinent, but in these two instances what is said is not three- and one-half years but is three and one half moedim. These three and one half moedim are the end of the matters Daniel saw. After this comes the Day of YHWH.
Daniel Chapter 12 and Revelation Chapter 12 mentioned above are describing the exact same times. Besides the three and one half moedim connection it is said in both books that this is when Michael will stand up for YHWH’s people. This is the time when satan and his followers are cast out of the heavens and cannot return (Rev. 12:9). It is also said that “now has come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohim, and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers that accused them day and night has been thrown down” (Rev. 12:10). This happens at the seventh trumpet according to the following. The deliverance mentioned in verse 10 is the removal of the darnel (tares), which is the knowledge of evil that dwells in us. This completes the removal of the generational curse from Adam’s sin.
Rev 11:15; And the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Rev 12:10, Psa. 2:8, Psa. 22:28, Dan. 2:44, Dan. 7:13-14, Oba. 1:15-21, Hag. 2:22, Zec. 14:9).
What makes these three and one half moedim different from the three-and-one-half years, as said above, is they are the end or are the summation of the matters that Daniel saw.
Dan 12:6 And one said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long until the end of these wonders?”
Dan 12:7 And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, and he held up his right hand and his left hand to the heavens, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it would be for an appointed time, appointed times, and half a time. And when they have ended scattering the power of the set-apart people, then all these shall be completed.
This time period is described in Joel Chapter 3:12-14 as the Valley of Yehoshaphat and the Valley of Decision.
These three and one half Moedim begin at Shavuot and end the fourth day of Sukkot. This fourth day of Sukkot would be when the Master of the house closes the door and those left outside come knocking (Luke 13:22-30).
Now we will go into the last four Moedim. There will be a lot of redundancy in everything we go through including the following. I have found it is good repeating events so the reader that is not familiar with prophecy is emersed in it so that it becomes a part of them. We are now going to establish much of what is said above in relationship to the days of creation, spirits that rest on Messiah, the last four Moedim of the seven, and the last four assemblies of Revelation.
The Fourth Candle
The fourth day of creation which is associated with the fourth candle. This is when the sun, moon and stars were created. The sun, moon and stars (as described on page 3) were created to mark time as we know it now, so we would know when to meet with YHWH. They were given for the Moedim (appointed times to meet with YHWH in Leviticus Chapter 23). These Moedim are what we are told in 1Thes. 5:1 that we should know. They are our way of discerning the coming of the Day of YHWH. The seed of satan changes these times set out in Leviticus Chapter 23 (Dan. 7:25). The adversary changes these so we will not know. At the time of Antiochus IV, the calendar was changed to follow the Babylonian, Greco Roman lunar calendar.
The Spirit on this candle is the Spirit of YHWH. This candle is the trunk and the root of the Menorah as said above. All other candles are connected to and fed by this candle in the chiastic fashion briefly shown above (first candle connects to the trunk in the same place as the seventh, second in the same place as the sixth etc.).
The feast (moed, appointed time) that is connected with this candle is Shavuot (Greek Pentecost) which falls just after the beginning of the wheat harvest. This is when the power and the Spirit descended on the Apostles after the crucifixion and they went forth into the nations preforming many miracles.
Yahushua says, in Matt. 13:41-43, at this time the following will happen.
Mat 13:41 “The Son of Adam shall send out His messengers, and they shall gather out of His reign all the stumbling-blocks, and those doing lawlessness (Zep. 1:3 & Matt. 13:25).
The seed satan planted was the knowledge of evil. Since Adam and Chava (Eve) ate of the forbidden fruit humanity has had both seeds dwelling in them. The good inclination (which is dominate) and the evil inclination (which is subordinate but is ever there). For this reason, we are constantly having to decide which to follow. The removal of satan’s seed will leave us with only the inclination for good.
Mat 13:42 and shall throw them into the furnace of fire – there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 13:43 “Then the righteoush shall shine forth as the sun (Dan 12:3) in the reign of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! (Footnote: hPsa 37:29, Psa 72:7, Psa 75:10, Psa 118:19-20, Psa 146:8, Mal 3:18, Rev 22:11.)
Look now to the Menorah Tabloid. On the left side verses are listed that show that those that have understanding, the righteous ones, will be covered with the light of YHWH’s Countenance, Yahushua. We are to be His light in this valley of decision when there is great darkness on the people (Isa. 49:1-13 & 60:2). This is clearly what is said in Matt. 13:43 and Dan. 12:3. But there is a time to take your light in the house and close the door behind you. We will see in the following that time is the fourth day of Sukkot in the year all these things Daniel saw at the end (just before the day of YHWH) are happening.
I want to emphasize the danger of lawlessness. 1 John Chapter 3 as follows.
1Jn 3:4 Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
1Jn 3:5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
1Jn 3:6 Everyone staying in Him does not sin. Everyone sinning has neither seen Him nor known Him (1Jn. 2:4 & 3Jn. 1:11).
Also, in 1 John Chapter 5 as follows.
1Jn 5:16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin, not unto death, he shall ask, and He shall give him life for those not sinning unto death. There is a sin unto death. I do not say that he should pray about that.
1Jn 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not unto death.
The sin unto death is Thayer’s # G266, which according to 1 John 3:4-6 is lawlessness.
The foot notes on Matt. 13:43 above have much to say about righteousness but for a couple of witnesses to give understanding of what the word righteousness means are as follows.
Deut. 6:25 And it is righteousness for us when we guard to do all this commandb before our Elohim, as He has commanded us.’ (Footnote: b“Command,” singular, very often has the meaning of “commands,” plural. See also Psa 119:172 and in Isa 51:7.)
Rom 2:13 For not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of Elohim, but the doers of the Torah (Mat. 7:21-27, Jas 2:14-24, and Duet. 6:25) shall be declared right.
The above gives us a good understanding of who the lawless are and what lawlessness means.
I want to mention one more place where we can see who we are coming into agreement with if we indorse lawlessness (being devoid of a Torah obedient life). We are going to take a little deeper look at 2Th. 2:8 as follows.
2Th 2:8 And then the lawless one shall be revealed, whom the Master shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth (Isa.11:4) and bring to naught with the manifestation of His coming.
In this verse the word used to describe this end time man of destruction is lawless. As I explained earlier on page 3 this occurrence of lawless is different than the most common word, which is the Greek word Anomia, that means against and devoid of any law. In this verse Paul specifically uses the word Anomos, which means devoid of and against the law of Moses. So, if anyone says Yahushua’s coming removed us from having to follow the law (Torah), then they are coming into agreement with the end time man of perdition, satan.
The lawless are the darnel (tares) that are being removed and thrown in the fire. Darnel (tares) according to Matt. 13:39-41 are the plants that came from the seeds the devil (satan) planted as said above. These are people who are devoid of and against the Torah of Moses, Anomos-lawless. They are the darnel (tares) that are poison.
The Assembly connected with this candle is Thyatira. Yahushua says the following to this Assembly:
Rev 2:20 “But I hold against you that you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and lead My servants astray to commit whoring (idolatry which is adultery leaving your husband to worship foreign gods) and to eat food offered to idols (again, adultery and idolatry are the same in a Hebrew mind set).
This is certainly the same as Rev. 17:1-5 speaking also of the destruction of Babel.
Rev 2:21 “And I gave her time to repent of her whoring, and she did not repent.
Rev 2:22 “See, I am throwing her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great affliction, unless they repent of their works.
Rev 2:23 “And I shall slay her children with death. And all the assemblies shall know that I am the One searching the kidneys and hearts. And I shall give to each one of you according to your works.
This is the beginning of the time that apostates are being broken to pieces (Isaiah 8:9) and pass through the time from Shavuot till the fourth day of Sukkot hard pressed and hungry (Isaiah 8:21).
Rev 2:24 “And to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not possess this teaching, and who have not known the depths of satan, as they call them, I am not putting on you another burden.
Rev 2:25 “But hold fast what you have until I come.
Rev 2:26 “And he who overcomes, and guards My works until the end, to him I shall give authority over the nations (Psa 2:8),
Rev 2:27 and he shall shepherd them with a rod of iron, as the potter’s vessels shall be broken to pieces, (Psa 2:9) as I also have received from My Father.
This again points back to Isaiah 8:9 where His people of both Houses of Israel (Judah and the Northern Tribes i.e. Lost sheep) are being broken to pieces because they stumbled on the Stone.
This is the day Yahushua said in Matthew 13:41, that He would send out His Angels and remove the stumbling blocks (darnel-tares) and those doing lawlessness from His Reign (also said in Zeph. 1:3). This removal is the same thing He spoke to the assembly of Thyatira above. He is removing the darnel (tare the plant satan planted) from His field (us). This means that we will no longer have the evil inclination dwelling in us. Halleluyah! This is when He writes His Torah on our hearts (Jer. 31:33-40 and Hebrews 8:8-12) and gives us a heart of flesh and removes the heart of stone (Ezekiel 36:25-36). Halleluyah! This is also when generational curses are removed. Halleluyah! (Jer. 31:29 ref Ezekiel Chapter 18). What we can see in Ezekiel Chapter 18 is that there is still time to repent and return in obedience to YHWH’s Torah until the door closes. Halleluyah!
He pours out His Spirit on all flesh (Joel 2:28, Eze. 11:19-20, 36:27, 37:14 & 39:29). This out pouring of the Spirit brings together all the events of these verses. It is happening just after the destruction of Gog and his band (Joel 2:20), the destruction of all false prophets and their doctrines (Eze. Chapter 13 and Rev. 2:22 & 23) and the fall of Babel the great.
The famous rabbi known as the Ramban (Moshe ben Nachman), in his commentary on Torah agrees with the understanding that Jer. 31:33 and Eze. 36:25:36 is the time when the evil inclination is removed from us.
This is the time that the world enters into the time called the valley of decision that is spoken of in Joel 3:14. It is referred to as the valley of Yesohaphat (Yah Judges) in Joel 3:2. Joel 2:1 & 3:14, Zephaniah 1:7 and Obadiah 1:15 all say; at this time “the Day of YHWH is near but not here”. Obadiah is all about the destruction of Edom (Esaw and the memory of Amalek). What we can glean from all these scriptural connections is that this time is when we are in the valley of decision which happens at the times of the wheat and grape harvest (Joel 3:13, Rev. 14:14-20). The decision against the nations has already been made but what we see in Rev. 14:8-11 is the mark of the beast is presented after Babel falls. So, there is a decision to be made by Avinu’s people at this time. YHWH is cleaning His house at this time. His chosen people will be determined at this time. As said above all this will be beginning at First Fruits (Rev. 14:1) then the destructions begin just before or at Shavuot and will last three and a half Moedim (feasts) as shown in Daniel 12:7 & Rev. 12:14 (the Hebrew and Greek both say three and a half moedim). This time is usually translated as time, time and a half time. In Daniel Chapter 12 it is clearly a moed, moedim and a half moed. What ties Revelation 12 to Daniel 12 is the following statement:
Daniel 12:1 “Now at that time Michael shall stand up, the great head who is standing over the sons of your people”.
Revelation 12:7; And there came to be fighting in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. And the dragon and his messengers fought, but they were not strong enough, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.
In neither of the verses is this time period three and one half years but is three and a half moedim. Certainly, there is a three-and-a-half-year time period but the time just before the Day of YHWH spoken of in Daniel Chapter 12 and Revelation Chapter 12 are both three and a half moedim, from Shavuot to the middle of Sukkot. YHWH would not have said it that way if it were not. Daniel is specifically told by the Man in linen that was above the waters of the river, that the end of these matters would be as follows.
Dan 12:5 Then I, Daniel looked and saw two others standing, one on this bank of the river and the other on that bank.
It is interesting that the power of the set-apart people is scattered to the ends of the earth. When they wake up, they will know their power as seen in Micah Chapter 5.
Mic 5:8 And the remnant of Yaaqob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of a forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, who, if he passes through, shall both tread down and shall tear, and there is no one to deliver.
Mic 5:9 Let your hand be lifted up against your adversaries, and all your enemies be cut off.
Micah Chapter 5 says that Yahushua will give up His people until the remnant of His brothers return to Israel as follows.
Mic 5:2 “But you, Beyth Lehem Ephrathah (the fruitful), you who are little among the clans of Yahudah, out of you shall come forth to Me the One to become Ruler in Yisrael. And His comings fortha are of old, from everlasting.” (Footnote: aOr His appearances.)
Mic 5:3 Therefore He shall give them up, until the time that she who is in labor has given birth, and the remnant of His brothers return to the children of Yisrael (Rom. 11:25-27).
Michael the great head is standing over the sons of Israel (Daniel 12:1) is talked about more in detail in Revelation Chapter 12. This begins at the destruction of Gog (Joel 2:20) and his band which is when the dragon sees that he cannot destroy the woman (Judah) that bore the Male Child (Yahushua, Rev. 12:17). Gog is destroyed by the sword of each one against his brother, pestilence and blood, flooding rain, great hail stones, fire and sulphur (Ezekiel 38:21-22). In Ezekiel Chapter 13, all false prophets and their doctrines are destroyed by flooding rain, great hail stones and wind. This is the same time that Babel falls (Rev. 14:8, 16:19, 17:5 & 18:2-21). Babel is described as a woman who is a harlot and the mother of the whores and abominations of the world (Jezebel), and a great city. Babel is multifaceted. It is representative of the false religious systems, false doctrines (walls) and governments of the world. Parallels of the destruction of Gog and his band, (Babel, False prophets and the great city Babel) show that these destructions are happening at the same time. This becomes evident in the more detailed look at all these scriptures which will follow. This happens near or at Shavuot and continues through the winter harvest. At this time satan and his followers are thrown to earth and cannot return to the heavenly realm. Then it is announced that Elohim’s Reign is restored, quoted as follows.
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in the heaven, “Now have come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohim and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down. (Footnote: See Rev.11:15. The seventh trumpet in Rev. 11:15 are happening at the same time).
Rev 12:11 “And they overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
At or near Shavuot the anti-Messiah (Christ) systems of the world, which is the first beast of Revelation, is destroyed (the Babylonian system). This system began at Babylon and continues through Rome till the destruction of the great harlot that is riding on the back of the first beast. This destruction is described in Revelation Chapter 17. This judgment is on the great whore sitting on many waters. Revelation 17:16-17 says that the ten horns (sovereigns) on the head of the first beast will “hate the whore and lay her waste and naked and eat her flesh and burn her with fire”. This first beast came out of the sea, which represents many nations. The second beast that comes out of the dry land (where there is not nations) and has two horns This destruction of the great whore is early in the rule of the second beast. This beast is given all the authority of the first beast. What is happening is the destruction of all false religious systems and false doctrines as mentioned above, the fall of Babylon. The Babylonian governmental systems and religious systems that have in-slaved Avinu’s people will all be removed. The second beast has a new religion which is not the religion of his fathers. This new religion is the new age religion. It will worship the creation not the creator (2 Timothy 3:5). This second beast will destroy all the evil of the Babylonian antichrist systems and appear to be very righteous in his removal of all the abominations of that system. What he will offer will be to restore all the things that the flesh lust after. Wealth, security, peace and a safe future. He will be very humanitarian. He will have a form of righteousness but will deny the Source (2 Timothy 3:5), the Creator. Then worship the creation while denying the Source. After he has removed all these evil things from the world and has brought what appears to be peace and safety to the world and then forgives all debt, giving everyone a new start, it is easy to see how the chosen (elect) could be pulled in (if that were possible). In all this the second beast is not a man but a nation, the false prophet system. This nation will have leaders. Certainly, there will be a pledge of allegiance of some sort. Does that sound familiar? Everyone who falls into this deception will worship this beast. What is worship. The first mention of worship in the Torah is Abraham telling his young servants; “Stay here with the donkey while the boy and I go over there and worship and come back to you”. The definition of worship here would be sacrifice. Obedience even if it leads to death but also belief that even if there is death there is a resurrection. Otherwise he would not have said, “and come back to you”. The second occurrence of worship is when Eliezar, Abraham’s servant went to get a wife for Issac. In this case Eliezer’s worship was gratitude for his prayer being answered. The elect will not be deceived because they will have the belief of Abraham. Those perishing will be pledging allegiance (obedience) to the beast nation and worshiping in gratitude for saving them from all the destruction that has occurred and for them being restored. These people that follow the beast will believe that the beast nation has answered their prayers and saved them from sure death.
All prophecy is to teach us not to put our faith for deliverance in a human, or a nation, but to put it in our heavenly Father. Then wait on Him without wavering in that belief despite what you see around you or what humans might offer you. Those offers are always ultimately empty. Beautiful on the surface but empty on the inside. They will in-slave you. This is another of those biblical principles.
The choice has always been between the flesh and the Spirit. The fallen angels chose to leave their estate (the heavenly’s) and descend to the human women of the earth because of their lust of the flesh (Gen. 6:1-2, Jude 1:6 & 2 Peter 2:4). The end time remnant people of YHWH will choose to leave their estate the flesh and ascend (go up) in the Spirit to the heaven’s. This will be our choice; life in the Spirit or life in the flesh (Romans Chapter 8:1-23 & Duet. 30:11-16 choose life). Life in the Spirit will believe all the promises of YHWH and wait on Him, life in the flesh will place its hope in man and accept all that the beast offers that satisfy the lust of the flesh.
Avinu’s whole program is to restore what was lost, which was His ministering Angels. Here are a few instances that confirm the destruction that follows descending to something that is forbidden.
Adam descended from his position to a forbidden fruit and because of that transgression he was thrown out of the garden and lost his first born (to exile) and his second born, Hevel (Abel). Hevel recognized the need of atonement, but Cain did not.
Judah left his estate and descended to a cursed people and took a wife from them. He lost two sons. His first and second born.
Elimelek, Ruth’s father-in-law left Judah and descended to Moab a forbidden people and lost his first born and second.
Aaron descended to idol worship with strange fire and lost his first born and second born sons who brought strange fire.
King David descended to a forbidden woman, and he lost four sons. The price is higher for anointed ones. He lost the un-named son of his adultery. Then he lost Amnon because of a sexual sin when he raped Tamar. Then Absalom to rebellion and finally Adoniyahu who tried to usurp Solomon’s rightful position.
The next two are ritual sins.
The House of Judah (the Southern Kingdom) who left their estate and descended to the idols of the forbidden nations around them lost two Temples.
The angels left their estate (the heavens) and descended to what was forbidden (human women). This sin caused them to lose all their sons. This infraction was unforgivable because it resulted in something that should have never existed. The mixing of seeds is forbidden but the mixing of species is unforgivable.
The Fifth Candle
This candle relates to the fifth day of creation. This is the day that the birds and the fish are created. Birds and fish migrate to certain areas and breed to reproduce their kind. They do this instinctively.
Eze 36:25 “And I shall sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean – from all your filthiness and from all your idols I cleanse you.
Eze 36:26 “And I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh,
Eze 36:27 and put My Spirit within you (Eze 11:19-20, Eze 37:6-14, Eze 39:29 & Joel 2:28). And I shall cause you to walk in My laws and guard My right-rulings and shall do them.
Eze 36:28 “And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. And you shall be My people, and I shall be your Elohim.”
Notice that when all the House of Israel is cleansed from its filthiness and idols then given a new heart, then He causes them to walk in His Laws, and guard His right-rulings and they shall do them. In other words, from this point on migrating to Jerusalem for the Feast (moedim) to have intimate relationships with YHWH will be instinctive. Then we will go forth and reproduce according to our kind just as the birds and fish.
I think the best definition of all those referred to as Elohim that fall below Avinu ba’Shamayim (our Father in Heaven the source of all that exist) is, they are those that by obedience, love of His creation and compassion for His creation are able to have Him to flow through them. That flowing through is in His Spirit and Power (gvurah-power is the Spirit that is on this candle) that is only limited by Avinu. That flowing through the B’ney haElohim Chayim (children of the Living Elohim Hosea 1:10) in this time of decision will be the Light of His Esteem. Isa. 60:1; Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the Esteem of YHWH (Yahushua) has risen upon you. 2: for look darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness the peoples (Joel 2:2, 2:10, 2:31 & 3:15). But YHWH arises over you and His Esteem is seen upon you. This light of His Esteem will be on Jerusalem and His chosen people. Look on the left side of the Menorah Tabloid for the scriptures related to a Great Dark Day. They are all related to each other.
Daniel is speaking of the same time as follows. Dan. 12:3; And those who have insight shall shine like the brightness of the expanse, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. Notice this is the exact same thing that is said in Matt.13:43. Once again look at the verses on the left side of the Menorah Tabloid which says we are the light in this time. There are six witnesses.
This all fits perfectly with the Spirit that is associated with this candle which is power (gvurah). At Shavuot the Apostles received the Spirit with the power. They were able to speak in the languages of all the nations that were gathered in Jerusalem for Shavuot. They began to preform many miracles from this point on. I think that if Yahushua and the apostles had to do miracles as proof of the validity of their message, then these righteous people living in this time will most certainly be doing the same. Other witnesses that we will be operating in that power again are Isaiah 8:18 & 49:8. Both indicate the same will happen in the day of His deliverance.
The moed on this candle is Yom Teruah. A few years ago, we were in Israel for the Feast and on Yom Teruah I wrote a small explanation of why we need to remember the blast of the shofar. I am going to insert it here because it is such an important understanding of what is happening when the Yovel shofar is blown.
What is Yom Teruah about?
Yom Teruah, according to Lev. 23, is a zircon shofar (remembering the shofar). The only shofar Israel had to remember at the time this command was given, was the shofar blast at Mt. Sinai when the ten words were spoken to the whole House of Israel. At that time, they said to Moshe; and now why should we die? For this great fire is consuming us. Exodus 20:18-19.
When Moshe is retelling this in Duet. 5:23-29, he says that YHWH (Elohim’s Hebrew name in English letters) said, that you had done well in all that you had spoken. So, it appears that what they said was correct. If the shofar continued to get louder and louder the power of the presence of Elohim may have been more than a mortal human could stand and they would die? At any rate He said they had spoken well.
Now I want to mention here some parallels with the sin of the garden. Adam and Eve were afraid when they heard the voice of YHWH after the sin because they were naked, they had no (kippur) covering and (Kappara) atonement. Israel at the base of Mt Sinai was also without atonement. You know that when Israel was standing there and the shofar continued to grow louder and louder and fire and smoke was consuming the mountain, that they had to be thinking of everything that they had done wrong in their lives. In that bright of a spiritual light, darkness must be very apparent. Basically, it seems there naturally comes a fear associated with a lack of atonement which is apparent when you are not covered. The root meaning of the Hebrew word for atonement is to cover.
So now keeping in mind that Messiah will be a prophet like Moshe, and the shofar will blow again at His second coming, what shall we say this time? I think you already know, but here are my thoughts. This time we are to say, I know that this flesh I dwell in is greatly flawed, and dead on account of sin, but I will not be defined by this flesh or the (ra) sin that dwells in it, but rather I will be defined by the seed of YHWH that dwells in it, (1 John 3:9 & 5:18, 1 Peter 1:23, 2 Cor. 13:5, Rom. 8:9-10), which is the new creation that I am (2 Cor. 5:13-21), and here I am , you’re willing servant! The One who’s seed dwells in us (1 John 3:9)! satan will fall backwards when we say this (2 Cor 4:5-7).
To sum it up: we are not corruptible man anymore, we are just temporarily dwelling in a corruptible fleshly body, so now we can stand before YHWH with Yahushua standing between us and Him as our High Priest, and we will have to stand with the confidence of knowing that the power that will flow through that shofar, also will flow through us and will enable us to do whatever it is He needs us to do, and the gates of hell will not prevail (Matt. 16:17-19). Amen…
PS: I wonder if the shofar we are to remember was not the voice of Yahushua Himself. He being the filter that keeps the power of the Words of YHWH from destroying us? Psalms 47:5 literally says, Elohim goes up in the shofar and YHWH (Yahushua coming in the Name of YHWH) comes out with a shout (my paraphrase). So, when Avinu ba’Shamayim (our Father in Heaven) speaks then His words are carried to us by Yahushua (the One who comes in His Name). When Elohim (Elohim the Father) spoke to Israel through the blast of the shofar what came out was the voice of Yahushua who comes in the Name of YHWH and is the Word of YHWH.
In Exodus 19:13 it says when the Yovel sounds long, let them come near the mountain. They could go up the mountain when the shofar sounded long, but this was not just a normal shofar blast, this was a Yovel shofar (first mention of Yovel in Torah).
Bare with me a moment while I go into something else to bring more understanding to this.
In Duet. 32:9 it is stated that YHWH’s allotted inheritance is Yaaqob, Kol (all) Israel. So if they had gone up the mountain they would have been making Aliyah (going up) , they would have been going to their Inheritor.
The next Yovel shofar in Torah is the shofar that is blown to announce the Yovel year described in Lev. 23, when all Israel could return or go back up to their inheritances.
The next Yovel shofar is when the walls of Jericho fell and Israel went up to take Jericho, and begin to take Canaan the land of their inheritance.
So when we hear the final shofar someone is coming to collect His inheritance and take them to their inheritance (the land promised to Abraham). Amen Amen! Come soon Yahushua…
The assembly associated with this candle is Sardis. The following is their message:
Rev 3:1 “And to the messenger of the assembly in Sardis write, ‘He who has the seven Spirits of Elohim and the seven stars, says this, “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
Rev 3:2 “Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete before Elohim.
Rev 3:3 “Remember, then, how you have received, and heard. And watch and repent. If, then, you do not wake up, I shall come upon you as a thief, and you shall not know at all what hour I come upon you.”‘”
This message is related to 1 Thes. 5:1-9 as mentioned on page 2, which tells us that this time should not come upon us as a thief in the night. We should stay awake and watch.
The Sixth Candle
This candle is associated with sixth day of creation when the beast and men were created. This is the time that those that have chosen the Spirit over the flesh (beast nature) are set apart. Those that have not decided yet still have to the middle of Sukkot to decide but it appears that the three levels of people in the millennial Kingdom are established at this time (Ezekiel Chapter 44).
Revelation Chapter 14 describes the events that led up to Shavuot and go to the valley of decision when people must decide between YHWH and the beast. YHWH is cleaning His house before His day when His wrath comes on the nations (Isaiah 26:21). In Ezekiel Chapters 8 thru 11 (destruction of the First Temple) YHWH cleans His House and His people are marked before the destruction that is coming so that they will not be destroyed with the wicked. We can expect the same in what we are coming into. As mentioned above (Eze. 11:16-20 & 36:24-29)
Everyone must make the decision between the beast nature and the Spirit. Will they continue in their carnal nature lusting after their idols (money, sports, and all the other things that satisfy self) or will they not desire the things of the flesh and set their hearts on the Spirit (the life to come) and Wait on YHWH to deliver them. As said earlier, the main message of the prophets is do not put your faith in a King or any man when you see destruction coming but put it in YHWH and wait on Him to deliver you (Micah 4:9-10). Israel rejected YHWH as their King to have a human king and have suffered destruction after destruction ever since. It is so bizarre to me that after He had promised Israel that He would guard them on all sides and prosper them in every way they chose to have a man for a king like the nations around. They chose the flesh instead of the Spirit as their king.
The assembly associated with this candle is Philadelphia. It, like Smurna, is considered blameless. They become the supporting pillars in His House. Obviously, these people have already made the correct decision. As we move forward, we will see that everyone has not decided yet.
The Spirit associated with this candle is knowledge (bina). As I have said before, knowledge is experiential. It is experiencing personally and seeing how everyone experiences the results of following in obedience the Torah of YHWH, and the results of being disobedient and not following His Torah teachings. The reason we are to respect the knowledge of the gray-haired people is they have seen how all this works in many situations and are able to share and teach the younger people.
The moed associated with this candle is Yom Kippurim. It appears that the upper level of the Millennial Kingdom is decided at this point. These people are pillars in Avinu’s House. They hold it up. Hollisa Alewine brings up in her study of the Menorah, that the Hebrew word for pillar is amad. If you break it into two words, am=people and ad=eternal. These would most likely be the sons of Zadok that are the upper level of the people in the millennial Reign and have access to the Sanctuary. Ezekiel Chapter 44 describes three levels of people that go into the Millennial Reign. The upper level being the sons of Zadok are the only ones with access to the sanctuary. Then the next level being those who served YHWH but in apostasy that become the ones that do the work. The last and lowest level are the rebels. According to Ezekiel 20:38 the rebels will not be able to enter the promise land because they refuse to come into the bond of the covenant, and they transgress against YHWH. These would be the maidens without oil described in Matt. 25:1-12 and Luke 13:22-30 and the lukewarm (Rev. 3:16). These rebels also fit what Yahushua said about those that do not follow Torah and teach others not to follow Torah in Matt. 5:17-19.
The 144,000 are the first of the resurrection of those that follow Messiah. They are with Yahushua on Mt. Zion in Revelation Chapter 14, the Mt. of Elohim. These are most likely the upper level of the Millennial Kingdom, as said. Possibly these are those spoken of in Isaiah 8:18 who are given to Yahushua for signs and wonders in Israel, while the people of both houses of Israel are stumbling and being broken to pieces. There is a parallel between Revelation 14 and Zechariah 14. In Revelation 14 the 144,000 are with Yahushua on Mt. Zion and in Zechariah 14 when Yahushua sets His feet on the Mt. of Olives and it splits, His Kadosh ones are with Him. These are not referred to as malakim (angels) but as His Kadosh ones. Kadosh means set apart to YHWH.
The Seventh Candle
This candle is associated with the seventh day creation, which is Shabbat. Shabbat literally means stop. Stop from your creating and enjoy your moed with YHWH. It is a space in time that He set apart for us to meet with Him. It is when we cease from creating just as He did. How we keep it is described in Isaiah 58 as follows:
Isa 58:13 “If you do turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My set-apart day, and shall call the Sabbath ’a delight,’ the set-apart day of ‘esteemed,’ and shall esteem it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,
Isa 58:14 then you shall delight yourself in YHWH. And I shall cause you to ride on the heights of the earth, and feed you with the inheritance of Yaaqob your father. For the mouth of YHWH has spoken.”
When we guard to honor and keep the Shabbat it is a sign between and us and YHWH to know that it is, He that is setting us apart (making us Holy). As follows.
Exo. 31:13 Speak to the children of Israel saying, “My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign between you and Me throughout your generations to know that I, YHWH, am setting you apart (making you holy).”
The word sign here in Hebrew is oth. It literally means a sign, an identifying mark upon you. It is a visible sign of who we belong to. This statement appears two more times in the Tanak (known as the old testament to Christians). Both other appearances are in Ezekiel Chapter 20. In verse 12 and again in verse 20. I am going to show now verses 11 thru 20 so you can see the context in which He is talking to Israel.
Eze 20:11 “And I gave them My laws and showed them My right-rulings, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them’ (Gal. 3:12).
Eze 20:12 “And I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a signa between them and Me, to know that I am YHWH who sets them apart.
Eze 20:13 “But the house of Yisrael rebelled against Me in the wilderness. They did not walk in My laws, and they rejected My right-rulings, which, if a man does, he shall live by them. And they greatly profaned My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My wrath on them in the wilderness, to consume them.
Eze 20:14 “But I acted for My Name’s sake (His Name Sake is Yahushua), not to profane it before the nations, before whose eyes I had brought them out.
Eze 20:15 “And I Myself also lifted My hand in an oath to them in the wilderness, not to bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, the splendor of all lands,
Eze 20:16 because they rejected My right-rulings and did not walk in My laws, and they profaned My Sabbaths. For their heart went after their idols.
Eze 20:17 “And My eye pardoned them, from destroying them. And I did not make an end of them in the wilderness.
Eze 20:18 “And I said to their children in the wilderness, ‘Do not walk in the laws of your fathers, nor observe their rulings, nor defile yourselves with their idols.
Eze 20:19 I am YHWH your Elohim. Walk in My laws, and guard My right-rulings, and do them.
Eze 20:20 And set apart My Sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between Me and you, to know that I am YHWH your Elohim.”
Most all prophecy is cause and effect. They profaned His Sabbaths and suffered destruction and then if they will turn back to them, He will restore them (Duet. Chapter 30).
YHWH has said Jerusalem is where He has chosen for His Name to dwell forever but His Kavod (a physical and or spiritual presence) has not been there since the destruction of the first Temple. So, now He has promised to meet with us each week on Shabbat. Shabbat is described as a moed in Leviticus Chapter 23, along with the seven other Shabbats. Moed means appointment. So, He has made an appointment with us each week. We can choose to meet with Him or not. If we do not and continue with our work or our pleasure, then we will be profaning His appointment with us. This will eventually lead to our destruction. The history is in Ezekiel Chapter 20.
Ezekiel Chapter 20 is an end times prophecy. Verses 1 thru 32 are cause and effect. They are history. Nothing in the Tanak, particularly in the allegorical, can be understood apart from the preceding history as said before. This is how we are to understand prophecy is through the preceding history. Therefore, it is written that way in the books of prophecy. We first see the preceding history that led to destruction and then the warning to not do as they did. We are a part of the whole House of Israel, either genetically or by accepting Yahushua as Messiah and following in obedience (Eph. 2:11-19). Let us not profane His Shabbat appointments with us anymore, lest we suffer the same destruction they did. Another place to see cause and effect in prophecy is Isaiah Chapter 8. I mention it because in Chapter 8 it reveals so much. It begins speaking about the fulfillment of the prophecy about the destruction the House of Israel by Ashshur. It continues with Isaiah telling the people do not put your faith in the Retsin to deliver you. Instead put your faith in YHWH, fear Him and wait on Him. This is showing the History that we need to understand what will happen if we again put our faith in a man to save us.
The assembly associated with this day is Laodicea. The following is what Yahushua has to say to them.
Rev 3:14 “And to the messenger of the assembly in Laodicea write, ‘The Amen, the Trustworthy and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of Elohim, (Col. 1:15, Heb. 1:6).
Rev 3:15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold or hot”.
Rev 3:16 “So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am going to vomit you out of My mouth.
Rev 3:17 “Because you say, ‘Rich I am, and I am made rich, (Hos. 12:8) and need none at all,’ and do not know that you are wretched, and pitiable, and poor, and blind, and naked”.
Rev 3:18 “I advise you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, (Psa. 19:9-10, 119:72 119:127, and Pro. 30:5) so that you become rich; and receive white garments, so that you become dressed, so that the shame of your nakedness might not be shown; and anoint your eyes with ointment, so that you see.
Rev 3:19 “As many as I love, I reprove and discipline. So be ardent and repent.
Rev 3:20 “See, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I shall come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
Rev 3:21 “To him who overcomes I shall give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
Rev 3:22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.”
Another place we see gold refined in the fire is in Exodus 32:20 when Moses burned the golden calf in the fire (refined it) and put on the face of the water and made the people drink it. At this time there was destruction followed by repentance. The refined gold in the living water would be bitter to drink. It appears that the congregation of Laodicea has been involved in idol worship. Moses was gone so long that they did not know what had become of him. They then wanted to replace him with another intercessor, the golden calf. This appears is what this assembly was doing in some way. They have allowed an anti-messiah (antichrist) to be their intercessor instead of our only true intercessor, Yahushua (see page 4 for anti-messiahs).
This is the last chance to repent and come in before the Master of the house closes the door (Luke 13:25). According to the three and one half moedim predicted in Daniel Chapter 12 and Revelation Chapter 12 this closing of the door should occur on the fourth day of Sukkot. These lukewarm would be those that refuse to come into the bond of the covenant (Ezekiel 20:37-38). They rebel just as the rebels in the wilderness of Mitsrayim (Egypt). They refuse to believe the promises and be bound by being obedient to the covenants. From the very first covenant that was made with Abraham before the Torah was given was to guard YHWH’s charge, commandments, laws and His Torot (plural for Torah meaning teachings). Read the whole story of Abraham and you will notice that every covenant YHWH made with Abraham required obedience on Abraham’s part for them to be fulfilled.
In the book of Yakkov (James) it is witnessed again as follows.
Jas 2:20 But do you wish to know, O foolish man, that the belief without the works is dead?
Jas 2:21 Was not Abraham our father declared right by works when he offered Yitsḥaq his son on the slaughter-place?
Jas 2:22 Do you see that the belief was working with his works, and by the works the belief was perfected?
Jas 2:23 And the Scripture was filled which says, “Abraham believed Elohim, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness.” (Gen. 15:5) And He called him, “he who loves Elohim.” (Isa. 41:8, 2Ch. 20:7).
Jas 2:24 You see, then, that a man is declared right by works, and not by belief alone.
These lukewarm refuses to be bound by these covenants which require us to guard His charge, commandments, laws and Torot. They are rebels which can be seen in the following scriptures.
Definition of the word Gentile
Gentile is not a word in Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek, the three languages that the Scriptures were written in. It is Latin. Jerome used it in the Latin Vulgate. It was then translated as nations, but it has a deeper meaning. It means people of your family, tribe of genre in the nations. It has the same meaning to an Israelite as the lost sheep of Israel. Yahushua said in Matt. 15:24 “I was not sent except to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel. These would be those of the Northern Kingdom of Israel that were scattered to the ends of the earth. These are those that He will be regathering along with the rest of the House of Judah that is still in the nations (Micah 5:2-15, & Isa. 11:11-13). There are seventy verses in the Bible that refer to this regathering of His Chosen People Israel.
The blessing to the nations that are not blood Israel is the Message of the Good News of YHWH’s Kingdom being restored through His Son Yahushua (Who Comes in the Name of YHWH) has to go to the whole world because for the largest part the lost sheep are unidentifiable. Anyone that hears the Good News and accepts Yahushua as their Redeemer and follows in Obedience becomes part of the Commonwealth of Israel (Eph. 2:11-19). If you think you are a gentile and that makes you something different than Israel and your salvation is under a different covenant you need to read Gal. 3:26-29 as follows.
Gal 3:26 For you are all sons of Elohim through belief in Messiah Yahushua.
Gal 3:27 For as many of you as were immersed into Messiah have put on Messiah.
Gal 3:28 There is not Yehudi (Jew) nor Greek, there is not slave nor free, there is not male and female, for you are all one in Messiah Yahushua.
Gal 3:29 And if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Aḇraham, and heirs according to promise.
The heirs to the promises to Abraham are through Issac and then Jacob who became Israel. All of the promises to Abraham, Issac and Jacob were contingent on being obedient to all the commands and teachings of YHWH. So, to inherit these you have to be obedient to the Torah (teachings) of YHWH.
Three levels of the seventh millennium
There are three levels of people that enter the seventh millennium. They are described in Ezekiel Chapter 44. Verses 4 thru 9 describe the rebels. These rebels are not allowed to enter the promise land because they refuse to be bound by the covenants as shown in Ezekiel 20:30-38. These are the five maidens without oil shown in Matt. 25:1-12 & Luke 13:22-30. When they come after the door is closed, they are left out where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Then verses 10 thru 14 describe the Levites that served YHWH in apostasy. They can enter the promise land, but they cannot come near Yahushua. They will have to serve Him by doing all the work of His House.
Finally, the Zadok level who will be the priest as shown in verses 15 thru 31. The Zadok’s are the only ones who will have access to the sanctuary to serve before Yahushua.
The days of Noah and Lot
The days of the end are compared to the days of Noah and Lot. There is a big difference in Noah and Lot. Noah was told what was coming and prepared for over one hundred years. Lot on the other hand was drug out and was not able to escape. He was kept alive but did not escape the destruction but was in the midst of it where there was weeping and gnashing of teeth.
In Ezekiel Chapter 20:30-38 there are many parallels to the story of Lot. The people that have chosen the wealth of the cities are drug out while YHWH’s wrath is being poured out. It says in these verses that He will enter into judgement with them as he entered into judgement with their fathers in the wilderness of Mitsrayim (Egypt). YHWH provided them with food and water, but it was after they ran out. Isaiah Chapter 8:21 says they will pass through it hard pressed and hungry.
Knowing this should we not prepare somewhat? If we go into our room at Sukkot, then YHWH comes out of His place to punish the nations this is when His wrath is being poured out (Isaiah 26:20-21). Noah went into the ark and YHWH closed the door behind him. He was protected. It seems these people in Ezekiel Chapter 20 have stayed until YHWH had to pull them out so that they would not be destroyed.
Micah Chapter 4:9-13 tells us when to leave the cities.
Mic 4:9 Now why do you cry aloud? Is there no sovereign in you? Has your counsellor perished? For pain has gripped you like a woman in labor.
Mic 4:10 Be in pain, and deliver, O daughter of Tsiyon, like a woman in labor. For now you are to leave the city, and you shall dwell in the field. And you shall go to Baḇel, there you shall be delivered, there YHWH shall redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
Mic 4:11 And now, many nations shall be gathered against you, who are saying, “Let her be defiled, and let our eyes look upon Tsiyon” (Obadiah Chapter 1, Eze. Chapter 35 & Psalms 83).
Mic 4:12 But they do not know the thoughts of YHWH, nor do they understand His counsel. For He has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing-floor.
Mic 4:13 “Arise and thresh, O daughter of Tsiyon, for I make your horn iron and your hooves bronze. And you shall beat many peoples into pieces, and I shall seclude their gain to YHWH,and their wealth to the Master of all the earth.”
The present condition of the State of Israel
The daughter of Tsiyon is Jerusalem. Is not Jerusalem in pain right now? The whole State of Israel is being dismantled right now. In 2020, there were severe lock downs that destroyed everyone’s ability to make a living. We were just told by a friend in Israel that a shoe store owner in Tel Aviv, a young person with a family, was literally driven to bankruptcy by the lock downs. So, she closed her store and put all the shoes left on the street for anyone who needed them. The government fined her 5000 shekels for littering. This is an example of the insanity going on in the State of Israel. We have also been told of elderly women that were not able to go out of their house for six months. Jerusalem is about to give birth to her re-gathered children, kohl Yisrael (all of Israel), both Houses of Israel. Halleluyah! Come soon Yahushua…we are crying out for our restoration to the land promised to Abraham, Yitshak and Yaakov.
If we go into our house while YHWH’s wrath is on the nations and is going forth, just as it did on Mitsrayim before the first exodus then we should expect to see many parallels with the first exodus. Isaiah 26:21 as follows shows that the first thing He does is expose the blood of the killed ones.
Isa 26:21 For look, YHWH is coming out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their crookedness. And the earth shall disclose her blood, and no longer cover her killed ones.
This was the first plague on Mitsrayim. The blood of the killed male babies of Israel was revealed in the Nile. In Revelation we see the same thing as follows so we can see when the second and third bowls happen. This is the beginning of the Day of YHWH.
Rev 16:3 And the second messenger poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood, as of a dead one, and every living creature in the sea died.
Rev 16:4 And the third messenger poured out his bowl on the rivers and fountains of water, and they became blood.
Rev 16:6 “Because they have shed the blood of set-apart ones and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For they deserve it.”
I do not know if anyone knows how long the plagues on Mitsrayim lasted but I read recently that it was estimated to be about six months. There is about six months between Sukkot and Pesach. Logically the second exodus would begin on Pesach. The verses below from Luke Chapter 17 would logically also be at Pesach. This will be when YHWH takes the first born of the evil nations for his first born, Israel.
Luke 17:33 “Whoever seeks to save his life shall lose it, and whoever loses his life shall preserve it.
Luke 17:34 “I say to you, in that night there shall be two in one bed, the one shall be taken and the other shall be left.
Luke 17:35 “Two women shall be grinding together, the one shall be taken and the other shall be left.
Luke 17:36 “Two shall be in the field, the one shall be taken and the other shall be left.”
Luke 17:37 And they answering, said to Him, “Where, Master?” And He said to them, “Where the body is, there also the vultures shall be gathered together.”
If the first Pesach after the Great day of YHWH is when we start the second Exodus, then how long before we are there? The only verse I can find that speaks to that is Ezekiel 36:33 as follows.
Eze 36:33 Thus said the Master YHWH, “On the day that I cleanse you from all your crookedness, I shall cause the cities to be inhabited, and the ruined places shall be rebuilt.”
This would be Yom Kippurim. This is the only witness I have found for that time.
What a day of rejoicing that will be. The fast will become a feast (Yech.8:19).
Hopefully now we can determine the day and the hour of Yahushua’s return by observing all the events above that come on Shavuot of the year of His return. We know He comes at midnight and the above says He will return at the fourth day of Sukkot to close the door and begin His wrath on the nations.
How does all this end
All the things the evil people and their leader satan plan against YHWH’s people will be turned on them. Just as they are planning a new world order to rule the people, which we can now see they are attempting to accomplish through the dismantling of all the governments and money systems of the world, will ultimately be used by YHWH to set up His Kingdom. They are actually preparing, without knowing, the way for the true Israel to rule the world, with Yahushua as the King. The ten horns lose their reign in the valley of decision. Their job is ended when everyone has either accepted the mark of the beast or denied it. What follows, YHWH comes out of His place (The Great and Awesome Day of YHWH) to bring true Israel home to the promised land and set up His Kingdom on Earth. The first thousand years of His Kingdom are about bringing all the seed of Adam to the Father. Then at the end of that time satan and all who choose him as their leader are burned, and the righteous enter the New Jerusalem that will descend at that time.
Come soon Yahushua!
I hope this article has blessed you.
Shalom
I am attaching a list of scriptures and their literary connections. In each of these connections I have just used a few of the parallels. If the above model is correct, then we should be able to see where any event in prophecy fits into it by the method of literary parallels.
The following is just my notes and is not an edited article.
List of what we stay awake and watch for that will give us the day and hour of Yahushua’s return.
First Event
I will now go through the things we can watch for that will tell us where we are in the timeline of His coming. An event that will be very recognizable is the destruction of Gog the Prince of the land of Magog, Prince of Rosh, Meshek and Tubal. This event is described in Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39. The thing that would make it undeniable as a biblical prophecy is the fact that Gog and his band are destroyed by acts of Elohim through nature and confusion. Flooding rain and great hail stones and YHWH shakes the whole world (worldwide earthquake). The confusion causes them to kill one another. No army of men participate in this destruction. There will be no doubt in anyone’s mind who did this. YHWH says that through this destruction of Gog, His Name will be known in the midst of Israel and the nations. Then they shall know that He is their Elohim (Eze. 38:22-23 & 39:7). This event seems to be waking up Israel to their true identity and the world to who is the real Most High Elohim. We will see as we go along this happens just before or at Shavuot.
I found the same language in Ezekiel Chapter 13. Chapter 13 YHWH is chastising the false prophets and destroying them along with the false doctrinal walls they built and whitewashed. What brings this together with Chapters 38 & 39 is that the destruction of the false prophets and their whitewashed walls is by flooding rain and great hail stones and great wind (Eze. 13:11).
There is similar language in Revelation 16:16-21.
Rev 16:16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Har Megiddo.
Rev 16:17 And the seventh messenger poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the Dwelling Place of the heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”
Rev 16:18 And there came to be noises and thunders and lightnings. And there came to be a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not came to be since men were on the earth (Rev. 11:13).
Rev 16:19 And the great city became divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Baḇel was remembered before Elohim, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.
Rev 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
Rev 16:21 And great hail from the heaven fell upon men, every hailstone about the weight of a talent. And men blasphemed Elohim for the plague of the hail, because that plague was exceedingly great.
Babel is receiving the cup of Elohim’s wrath in verse 19. This is parallel with Revelation 14:8 And another messenger followed, saying, “Baḇel is fallen, is fallen, (Isa; 21:9) that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her whoring.” (Jer_51:8).
Isa 21:8 Then he cried, “A lion, O! I stand continually on the watchtower in the daytime, and I have sat at my post every night.
Isa 21:9 “And see this, a chariot of men coming with a pair of horsemen!” And he spoke up and said, “Baḇel is fallen, is fallen! And all the carved images of her mighty ones He has broken to the ground.”
Isa 21:10 Oh, my threshing and the grain of my floor! That which I have heard from YHWH of hosts, the Elohim of Yisrael, I have declared to you.
The threshing floor is reminiscent of Matt. 13 when the tares and the wheat are harvested. We will soon see that the wheat harvest is when Babel falls.
In Isaiah 21:10 mentions the threshing and the grain of His floor. As we will see Next these things are happening around Shavuot. In 21:8 Isaiah is being a watchman. This is what we all need to be doing.
Eze 33:1 And the word of YHWH came to me, saying,
Eze 33:2 “Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and you shall say to them, ‘When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land shall take a man from their borders and shall make him their watchman,
Eze 33:3 and he sees the sword coming upon the land, and shall blow with the shophar and shall warn the people,
Eze 33:4 then whoever shall hear the voice of the shophar and shall not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood is on his own head.
Eze 33:5 “‘He heard the voice of the shophar, but he did not take warning, his blood is on himself. But he who takes warning shall deliver his being.
Eze 33:6 “‘But if the watchman sees the sword coming and shall not blow with the shophar, and the people shall not be warned, and the sword comes and takes any being from among them, he is taken away in his crookedness, and his blood I require at the watchman’s hand.’
Eze 33:7 “And you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Yisrael. And you shall hear a word from My mouth and you shall warn them for Me.”
We are all to be His watchmen. That is what the preceding article is about.
The Next Identifiable Event
This event is the removal of the darnel (tares) in Chapter 13 of Matthew. Yahushua says in Mark 4:13 that if you do not understand the parable of the seeds how will we understand all the parables.
Mat. 13:41 The Son of Adam shall send out His messengers and they shall gather out of His reign all the stumbling blocks and those doing lawlessness,
Mat. 13:42 and shall throw them into the furnace of fire-there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Mat. 13:43 Then the righteous shall shine forth as the sun. (Ref. Daniel 12:3) And those who have insight shall shine like the brightness of the expanse, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.
So, this event has something in common with Daniel Chapter 12. Keep that in mind.
This should be a recognizable event and we know exactly when it will happen, Shavuot the wheat harvest. Yahushua is cleaning His Father’s house before His wrath comes on the nations. Notice He is removing those doing lawlessness and the ones causing His people to stumble. Remember from page 3, lawlessness is being devoid of and against the Torah (laws and teachings) of YHWH.
Yahushua’s return is related to the days of Noah and Lot (Matt. 24 and Luke 17). It is also connected with two are in the bed and one is gone, two are grinding and one is gone etc. Keep in mind the ones that are gone are dead, not raptured (shown on pg. 36 above). We will go into more detail on this later in the article.
This large removal of people, starting on Shavuot should be very recognizable. Gog and his band along with the false prophets and their doctrines are destroyed at the same time as Babel falls, which is just before the stumbling blocks and those doing lawlessness are removed. Notice that there is a great earthquake associated with Gog, Babel and the false prophets. In Rev. 16:17 which is at this time it says, “It is done”. In Rev. 11:13-19 this is the time YHWH’s Reign is restored. All these things were mentioned when we were looking at the Menorah with the sevens. I am still on the chronological order. But these are the beginning of the restoration of YHWH’s Reign and the removing of the tares (the knowledge of evil that dwells in us) and satan and his followers being cast out of heaven and can’t return (Rev. Chapter 12).
I will show how we can tell the chronological order of these events. At the same time, I will be demonstrating how to understand all prophecy through thematic connections and parallels.
Chronological Order of These Identifiable Events
First thing we need to know is when will the Gog event happen in relationship to Matt. 13:41. The removal of the lawless. This is how I traced it down; First I noticed that Zeph. 1:3; “I snatch away man and beast, I snatch away the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, and the stumbling-blocks, with the wrong, when I shall cutoff man from the face of the earth,” declares YHWH.
This is the same statement that made in Matt. 13:41. This places Zeph. Chapter 1 at the fall harvest of the wheat and grapes. So, looking for more information on this event in Zeph. Chapter 1, I found another statement that connected to Joel Chapter 3:14.
Zeph. 1:7 Hush! in the presence of the Mater. For the day of YHWH is near, for YHWH has prepared a slaughter, He has set apart His invited ones.
Joel 2:1 Blow a shophar in Tsiyon and sound an alarm in My set-apart mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the earth tremble, for the day of YHWH is coming, for it is near:
Joel 3:14 Crowds, crowds in the valley of decision! For the day of YHWH is near in the valley of decision.
What we can see here is the day of YHWH is near but not here. We can also see that the nations have been called down to the valley of decision at the time of the fall harvests in the following verses. Joel 3:13; “Put in the sickle, for the harvest has grown ripe. Come, go down, for the winepress is filled, the vats overflow, for their evil is great.” Here is a parallel with Matt. 13:39; And the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the messengers. Both of these events are at the harvest of the fall Moedim (feasts). How do we know this? First “put in the sickle for the harvest has grown ripe”. This being the wheat harvest. Then next “the winepress is filled”. This is the grape harvest. Joel 3:13 is almost identical to Rev.14:20 as we will see next.
Take notice here that these judgments that are beginning at the wheat harvest which begins just before Shavuot. Then the statement is made that the Day of YHWH is near. So, the Day of YHWH will follow the fall harvests. Obadiah is about the destruction of Edom (Esaw) along with Psalms Chapter 83 and Eze. Chapter 35. In the following verse we see this same statement about the day of YHWH as follows.
Oba 1:15 “For the day of YHWH is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you, your reward shall come back on your own head.
The language here in Joel Chapter 3 is the same as Revelation Chapter 14 as follows:
Rev 14:1 And I looked and saw a Lamb standing on Mount Tsiyon, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s Name written upon their foreheads. (A parallel with Isaiah 8:18).
Rev 14:2 And I heard a voice out of the heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder, and I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.
Rev 14:3 And they sang a renewed song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders. And no one was able to learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
Rev 14:4 They are those who were not defiled with women, for they are maidens. They are those following the Lamb wherever He leads them on. They were redeemed from among men, being first-fruits to Elohim and to the Lamb.
Rev 14:5 And in their mouth was found no falsehood, for they are blameless before the throne of Elohim.
Rev 14:6 And I saw another messenger flying in mid-heaven, holding the everlasting Good News to announce to those dwelling on the earth, even to every nation and tribe and tongue and people,
Rev 14:7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear Elohim and give esteem to Him, because the hour of His judgment has come. And worship Him who made the heaven and the earth, and sea, and fountains of water.”
Rev 14:8 And another messenger followed, saying, “Babel is fallen, is fallen,b Isa. 21:9 that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her whoring.” (Footnote: bAlso see Jer. 51:8 and Rev. 16:19.)
Rev 14:9 And a third messenger followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark upon his forehead or upon his hand,
Rev 14:10 he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of Elohim, which is poured out undiluted into the cup of His wrath. And he shall be tortured with fire and sulphur before the set-apart messengers and before the Lamb.
Rev 14:11 “And the smoke of their torture goes up forever and ever. And they have no rest day or night, those worshipping the beast and his image, also if anyone receives the mark of his name.”
Rev 14:12 Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of Yahushua. (see also Rev. 12:17).
Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Master from now on.’ “Yes,” says the Spirit, “in order that they rest from their labors, and their works follow with them.”
An important thing to notice here is that Babel falls before or at Shavuot. This holds true for the harvest we see in Joel 3 also. This fits with Revelation 16:19 when Babel will receive the cup of YHWH’s wrath, which is parallel with the destruction of Gog and his band. The parallel is in the flooding rain and great hail which is also in Ezekiel Chapter 13. In Ezekiel Chapter 13 the false prophets and their doctrinal walls fall by flooding rain and great hail. To sum this up the fall of Gog and his band, Babel and the false prophets and their doctrinal walls is together; and is on or before Shavuot. At Shavuot, the removal of the darnel (tares), stumbling blocks and those doing lawlessness (also in Zeph.1:3). These darnel-tares which do lawlessness and cause YHWH’s people to stumble are the seeds of the devil according to Matt.13:37-39, as follows.
Mat 13:37 And He answering, said to them, “He who is sowing the good seed is the Son of Aḏam,
Mat 13:38 and the field is the world. And the good seed, these are the sons of the reign, but the darnel are the sons of the wicked one,
Mat 13:39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. And the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the messengers.”
As I mentioned earlier while going through the candles of the Menorah, Ramban agrees with my thoughts of the removal of the darnel (tares). He as I believe it is the removal of the evil inclination that dwells in us all. We will no longer have any inclination except for good.
The Harvest of the Earth
Rev 14:14 And I looked and saw a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was One like the Son of Adam, (Dan 7:13) having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. [Here is the parallel with the two harvests in Joel Chapter 3.]
Rev 14:15 And another messenger came out of the Dwelling Place, crying with a loud voice to the One sitting on the cloud, “Send Your sickle and reap, because the hour has come for You to reap, because the harvest of the earth is ripe.”
Rev 14:16 And the One sitting on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped (wheat harvest).
Rev 14:17 And another messenger came out of the Dwelling Place which is in the heaven, and he too held a sharp sickle.
Rev 14:18 And another messenger came out from the slaughter-place, having authority over the fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him having the sharp sickle, saying, “Send your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, because her grapes are ripe.” (Joe 3:13 “Put in the sickle, for the harvest has grown ripe. Come, go down, for the winepress is filled, the vats overflow, for their evil is great.”)
Rev 14:19 And the messenger thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of Elohim.
Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the bridles of the horses, for about one thousand six hundred stadiad. (Footnote: dApprox. 296 kilometers or 184 miles.)
According to all the above Babel falls, Gog and his band are destroyed along with the false prophets and their doctrinal walls. Then people are faced with making a decision as to go with the beast or with YHWH (Joel 3:14, at the fall harvests the people are in the valley of decision). The decision for the nations is already made but YHWH’s people now have a decision to make.
More Detail on Stumbling Blocks and Lawlessness
I am repeating from above to help remembering
Another place stumbling-blocks appears is Isa. 57:14; And one shall say, “Heap it up! Heap it up! Prepare the way, take the stumbling-block out of the way of My people.”
This is important to keep in mind because it is speaking of making a highway for His people Israel to return on and removing the things that will cause them to stumble on their way.
Then it appears again in Luke 17:1; And He said to the taught ones, “It is inevitable that stumbling-blocks should come, but woe to him through whom they come! At the end of Luke Chapter 17 this time is related to the days of Noah and Lot as said at the beginning of page 6. In each case the wicked are removed and the righteous remain on the earth. It is associated with:
Luke 17:34 “I say to you, in that night there shall be two in one bed, the one shall be taken and the other shall be left.
Luke 17:35 “Two women shall be grinding together, the one shall be taken and the other shall be left.
Luke 17:36 “Two shall be in the field, the one shall be taken and the other shall be left.” (Matt. 24:30).
Luke 17:37 And they answering, said to Him, “Where, Master?” And He said to them, “Where the body is, there also the vultures shall be gathered together.” (Mat 24:28).
This appears to be a 50% removal of people that are working and living together. Since they are living and working together and the people being removed are referred to as, those causing YHWH’s people to stumble. They are planted by the devil in YHWH’s field (the earth). This would fit the death of the first born of Mitsrayim in the first exodus. These seed satan planted are lawless (devoid of and against the law of Moses). They are the darnel or tares in Matthew Chapter 13.
The removal of the stumbling blocks and those doing lawlessness (Matt 13:41, Zeph. 1:3, Luke 17:1 & Isa. 57:14) will be a large removal of people starting at Shavuot. Specifically, those that are in the way of bringing His chosen people back to the promise land. This removal includes those doing lawlessness. Lawlessness is described as the condition of being devoid of and against the law of Moses, i.e. Torah, as revealed in 2 Thes. 2:8. Lawlessness is further described as sin in 1 John 3:4; Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. Then in 1 John 5:16; there is a sin unto death. That word for a sin unto death is the same word used for sin in 1 John 3:4 that is referred to as lawlessness. I would like to say at this point that there is a seed that is opposed to the seed of Elohim that dwells in us and that seed is the seed of the lawless one, satan i.e. the knowledge of evil. The one that is devoid of and against the law of Moses i.e. Torah. We choose which seed we will follow, just as Qayin (Cane) and Hevel (Able) did. One chose the seed of satan and the other the seed of YHWH.
All the above connections are through literary parallels. I have gone through the above events in the order I discovered them. Now I will show you how I discovered the prophetic order of the two main identifiable events that will happen. The first event we will be able to identify is the destruction of Gog and his band. I will now proceed to show how we can place this destruction happening before the wheat harvest of Joel Chapter 3, Revelation Chapter 14 and Matthew Chapter 13.
I started with scrutinizing the Gog event as shown in Ezekiel Chapters 38 & 39. Looking for parallels with anything else in prophecy. What I found in Ezekiel 39:21-29 is as follows.
Eze 39:21 “And I shall set My esteem among the nations. And all nations shall see My judgment which I have executed, and My hand which I have laid on them.
Eze 39:22 “And the house of Israel shall know that I am YHWH their Elohim from that day forward.”
Joel 2:27 “And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israela, and that I am your Elohim and there is no one else. And My people shall never be put to shame. (Footnote: aSee footnote Isa 24:23 “And the moon shall blush, and the sun shall be ashamed, for YHWH of hosts shall reign on Mount Tsiyon, and in Yarushalayim, and before His elders, in esteem!” Isa. 12:6, 16:5, 46:13, 52:8, & 59:20, Psa.102:16, Eze. 43:7-9, Joel. 3:17 and Joel, 3:21, Mic. 4:7-8, Zep. 3:14-17, Zec.1:16-17, Zec. 2:10, Zec. 8:3-8, Zec. 14:1-11, Act. 1:6-7, Rev. 21:1-27 also in Rev. 14 He is on Mt. Zion.)
In each one of these referenced verses are a witness to YHWH reigning again in Zion through Yahushua. Revelation Chapter 14 is also His return to Zion in Yarushalayim. As said above, what is so good about Revelation Chapter 14 is it gives the chronological order of events when He is back on Mt. Zion. It can be used as an outline for bringing the other prophecies together. The protocol for His coming and going is established in Eze. 10:19; door of the Temple, Eze. 11:1; East gate of Yarushalayim, and Eze. 11:23; Mt. of Olives. So, when we see Yahushua on Mt. Zion in Revelation Chapter 14 we know He came back in the reverse order of leaving described in Ezekiel Chapters 10 and 11. Ezekiel Chapters 8-11 are about the cleansing of YHWH’s house and then its destruction. All that we are looking at now is about the cleansing of YHWH’s people and then the restoration of His land and His people.
Notice that in Acts 1:9-12; Yahushua ascended from the Mt. of Olives before the disciples eyes, and as they were looking up two angels appeared and told them He would return the same way He left. This takes us to Zec. 14:4; Yahushua in the Name of YHWH sets His feet on the Mt. of Olives and it splits North and South leaving a valley running east and west. Then He goes through the East gate to Mt. Zion. In Zec. 14:5 YHWH has all His Kadosh ones with Him. This is interesting these with Him are not referred to as angels in Zechariah but as Kadosh ones (Hebrew meaning is set apart to YHWH ). These would be the 144,000. At this time all the nations are being gathered against Yarushalayim (Zec. 14:2, Joel 3:2, Zeph. 3:8 & Rev. 16:14). In Rev. 14 the chain of events that led up to the fall harvest starting at Shavuot are as follows.
Rev 14:8 And another messenger followed, saying, “Baḇel is fallen, is fallen,b (Isa. 21:9) that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her whoring.” (Footnote: bAlso see Jer. 51:8. Also; Rev 17:16 “And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these shall hate the whore, and lay her waste and naked, and eat her flesh and burn her with fire.”)
The woman on the back of the beast in Rev. 17: 4-6 represents the religious system that has had control of the ten horns (leaders of the nations of the world). This is a removal of the Mother of all the harlots of the world and the abominations of the earth.
A strong case can be made for the church of Rome being the woman (religious system) riding on the back of the beast. In Daniel 7:8 A little horn comes up among the ten horns speaking great things. In Daniel 7:20-27 we have the same ten horns that are mentioned in Rev. Chapter 17. In Daniel 7:25 the small horn that comes up, which is greater than his associates. He speaks great things and wears out the saints of the Most High and he thinks to change times (the Sabbaths, weekly and 7 High Sabbaths) and laws (Torah of Moshe). I could go into great detail on this, but that is for another article. Better yet you can go to You Tube and look for The Man Behind the Mask. Total Onslaught by Walter Veith. Walter is an Adventist. They probably have studied this deeper than anyone. If the church of Rome is the mother, then who are the harlot daughters. It seems not only the mother whore is removed but also all her daughters. Keep in mind in Hebrew understanding adultery and idolatry are the same thing. Idolatry is worshiping another Elohim. By doing so you have left your Husband and have given His esteem to another that is not Avinu (our father in heaven).
If the religious systems that are controlling the governments of the world are removed, what is left? The ten horns. They are the ones who hated the whore and laid her waste, burned her with fire and ate her flesh (Rev. 17:16). It seems what is left is leaders of the governments of the world who give their allegiance to the beast. This is what we saw happen with the Assembly of Thyatira when reviewing the Menorah at first.
Also, keep in mind Babel falls before the wheat harvest starts (the first sickle).
Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of Yahushua, which ties together this Chapter and verse to Rev. 12:17 chronologically.
We will eventually get into Rev. 12. In Rev. 12:17 the people that are guarding the Commands of YHWH and have the witness of Messiah are the remnant. These are the people satan goes after when Gog and his band are destroyed. When he sees he cannot destroy the woman (the Tribe of Judah) that bore the Male Child (Yahushua) he will go after the remnant people. This is also when satan and his followers are thrown down to the earth and can no longer enter the heavenlies to accuse us. At this time, we no longer need to be witnesses against satan the accuser. This is when the physical healing of YHWH’s people is able to happen.
Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Master from now on.’ ” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “in order that they rest from their labors, and their works follow with them.”
In Rev. 14:14 the fall harvests begin.
Rev 14:14 And I looked and saw a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was One like the Son of Aḏam, (Dan. 7:13) having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
Rev 14:15 And another messenger came out of the Dwelling Place, crying with a loud voice to the One sitting on the cloud, “Send Your sickle and reap, because the hour has come for You to reap, because the harvest of the earth is ripe.”
This puts us at the exact same time as Joel 3:13; “Put in the sickle, for the harvest has grown ripe. Come, go down, for the winepress is filled, the vats overflow, for their evil is great.”
Joel 3:14 Crowds, crowds in the valley of decision! For the day of YHWH is near in the valley of decision.
Matt. 13:30 tells us the wheat will be put in the granary and the darnel will be tied up and burned.
Mat 13:37 And He answering, said to them, “He who is sowing the good seed is the Son of Adam,
Mat 13:38 and the field is the world. And the good seed, these are the sons of the reign, but the darnel are the sons of the wicked one,
Mat 13:39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. And the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the messengers.
Rev 14:19 And the messenger thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of Elohim.
Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the bridles of the horses, for about one thousand six hundred stadia 296 kilometers or 184 miles.
All the above in Matthew Chapter 13, Joel Chapter 3 and Revelation Chapter 14:15-20 are from just before Shavuot till the fourth day of Sukkot being the end of the harvests.
Continuing in Ezekiel 39 to see where the fall of Gog and his band fits in.
Eze 39:23 “And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into exile for their crookedness, because they have trespassed against Me, so that I hid My face from them, and I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword.
Eze 39:24 “According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I have dealt with them, and hidden My face from them.”
Eze 39:25 “Therefore thus said the Master , ‘Now I am going to bring back the captives of Yaaqob (the whole of Israel, Judah and the Northern Tribes). And I shall have compassion on all the house of Israel, and shall be jealous for My set-apart Name. (Joel 2:18 “And let YHWH be jealous for His land and spare His people”).
Eze 39:26 And they shall have borne their shame, and all their trespass they committed against Me, when they dwell safely in their own land, with none to make them afraid,
Eze 39:27 when I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them out of the lands of their enemies. And I shall be set apart in them before the eyes of many nations.
Eze 39:28 And they shall know that I am YHWH their Elohim, who sent them into exile among the nations, and then gathered them back to their own land, and left none of them behind.
Eze 39:29 And no longer do I hide My face from them, for I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,’ declares the Master YHWH.”
Joel 2:28 “And after this it shall be that I pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men dream dreams, your young men see visions.
Joel 2:29 “And also on the male servants and on the female servants I shall pour out My Spirit in those days.”
There are two parallels here between Joel Chapter 2 and Ezekiel Chapter 39. And many similarities. I just highlighted one similarity. In both Ezekiel 39:29 and Joel 2:28 YHWH is pouring out His Spirit on His people. In Ezekiel 39:25 YHWH is having compassion for the House of Israel. In 39:23 He is speaking of the House of Israel (the northern ten tribes). In Joel Chapters 1 thru 3 Judah is mentioned six times. He only mentions Israel three times and in none of those does He say the House of Israel which indicates His reference in these verses are to the whole House of Israel (Judah and the House of Israel; i.e. the northern ten tribes). Which would be after the two houses of Israel; the northern ten tribes referred to as the House of Israel and sometimes Ephrayim and Judah have again become one Nation, all Israel. In Joel 3:2 He calls Israel His inheritance. In Duet. 32:9 states YHWH’s inheritance is Jacob (referencing all Israel, both houses together).
It appears that the House of Israel (the northern ten tribes) and the House of Judah have not yet become one when He pours out His Spirit on them. In Joel 2:28 He pours out His Spirit on all flesh so, it is the same event. In Ezekiel 37:14 YHWH pours out His Spirit on the House of Israel, then in 37:21-22 is bringing all Israel back to the land and there He will make them into one nation again. They will no longer be two nations. There are a lot of similarities between the last seven verses in Ezekiel Chapter 37 and the last 14 verses of Joel Chapter 2. In Ezekiel 39:25 says He will bring back the captives of Jacob, which is the whole House of Israel. Then He talks about the separate House of Israel in the same verse. The reason is there will still be those of the House of Judah that haven’t returned when He brings back the House of Israel (the northern 10 tribes). In Zechariah Chapter 10 there is an awesome connection through the pouring out of His Spirit because when it happens is when Judah sees Yahushua was and is the promised Messiah.
Zec 12:10 “And I shall pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim a spirit of favor and prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son. And they shall be in bitterness over Him as a bitterness over the first-born.
From this we can tell when Judah receives Yahushua as their Messiah in the chronological order of all the events, we are looking at that lead up to the Day of YHWH. As we have seen above all the nations are gathered around Jerusalem after the Spirit has been poured out. This order is witnessed again:
Zec 12:3 “And in that day it shall be that I make Yerushalayim a very heavy stone for all peoples – all lifting it are severely injured. And all the nations of the earth shall be gathered against it.
Zec 12:9 “And it shall be in that day that I seek to destroy all the nations that come against Yerushalayim.”
The main point I’m making here is this pouring out of His Spirit on all flesh is occurring at the beginning of the re-gathering of all the two Houses of Israel that are not already gathered back into the land.
There is another verse in Joel Chapter two that is very important to my present quest to figure out when the destruction of Gog occurs in relationship to the wheat harvest. When the tares are removed. The verse is Joel 2:20: “And the Northerner I shall remove far from you and drive him away into a dry and deserted land, with his face toward the eastern sea and his rear toward the western sea. And his stench shall come up and his smell rise, for he has done greatly.”
Gog is referred to as coming from the far North twice in Ezekiel Chapter 38 and once in Chapter 39 as coming from the uttermost parts of the North. Reading Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39 it becomes very obvious that YHWH is showing the whole world who He is and that He is the supreme Elohim of all flesh. The destruction of Gog is a wake-up call to the world. No one on earth will be able to deny that the destruction of Gog and his band was a fulfillment of prophecy. Gog is destroyed before we go into the fall Moedim (feast) and the nations go into the valley of Yehosafat, the valley of decision. Joel 3:13 “Put in the sickle, for the harvest has grown ripe. Come, go down, for the winepress is filled, the vats overflow, for their evil is great.”
Joel 3:14 Crowds, crowds in the valley of decision! For the day of YHWH is near in the valley of decision (Zeph. 1:7).
Joel 3:15 Sun and moon shall become dark, and stars shall withdraw their brightness.
Joel 3:16 And YHWH shall roar from Tsiyon, and give forth His voice from Yerushalayim. And the heavens and earth shall shake, but YHWH shall be a refuge for His people, and a stronghold for the children of Yisrael.
At the beginning of the Gog event there is a shaking also; Eze 38:19 “For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken, ‘On that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Yisrael, Eze 38:20 so that the fish of the sea, and the birds of the heavens, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping creatures that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall fall to the ground.’
The destruction of Gog will be our first sign that we are going into to something that happens just before the Great and Awesome day of Yahuah. Babel and the mother of all the harlots of the earth are destroyed at the same time as we have seen above through the literary parallels.
In Revelation Chapter 14 the 144,000 are with Yahushua on Mt. Zion. The 144,000 are the resheit, the first of the resurrection. Since they are with Him before the wheat harvest, we could assume they were first fruits like Yahushua and came out at the first fruits offering in the feast of unleavened bread. This is another witness that Babel the great would fall between Pesach and Shavuot. Also, Gog would be destroyed at the same time.
Then we would enter the valley of decision at Shavuot.
The day of YHWH’s wrath
We know now how to know that the day of YHWH is near. What does the day of YHWH represent? It comes when He has cleaned His house and removed all the stumbling blocks and all of His potential people have made their decision to worship YHWH or go with the beast. In Isaiah Chapter 26 there is a resurrection, then a directive to go into your room and close the door for a little while till His displeasure passes. Then Yahushua in the Name of YHWH comes out of His place to punish the nations.
Isa 26:18 We have conceived, we writhed in pain; we have given birth to wind. We have not accomplished deliverance in the earth, nor have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
Isa 26:19 Let Your dead live, together with my dead body, let them arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; for Your dew is a dew of light, and let the earth give birth to the departed spirits.
Isa 26:20 Go, my people, enter your rooms, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little while, until the displeasure is past.
Isa 26:21 For look, YHWH is coming out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their crookedness. And the earth shall disclose her blood, and no longer cover her killed ones.
This is the Day of YHWH and the beginning of His wrath that will ultimately cause the nations to let His people go.
Summary of the above
I know that there is a lot of information above. Without any previous exposure to the prophets this could be daunting to follow and absorb. What I will do now is sum up what the above tells us without all the details.
The 144,000 will be first of the resurrection of the body of Yahushua (pg. 16, Rev. 14:4). Then just before Shavuot Gog and his band attack Israel and YHWH destroys them and all the false prophets and their doctrinal walls are also swept away with them (Ezekiel 13). Babel falls in this time period also (Revelation 14). We know this because in all the above that we have looked at show that these three events precede the first sickle being the wheat harvest in Rev. 14. Because of the literary parallels we can see that these preceding events are a sequence of events leading into Shavuot. The first sickle goes in slightly before Shavuot because the first fruits of the harvest must be in the Temple for the wave offering before Shavuot. We can see in Ezekiel 38:19-20 (also Rev. 11:13 and 16:18-21) that there is going to be a worldwide earthquake. Gog and all the false prophets with their false doctrinal walls will be swept away by flooding rain, great hail and confusion that causes them to kill each other along with the earthquakes. Then Yahushua will send out His messengers to remove the stumbling blocks and those doing lawlessness from His Reign at Shavuot. These are all happening together. I do not see a gap between them. The destructions above are just before or at the same time Yahushua sends out His messengers. There is the outpouring of YHWH’s Spirit on all flesh (Joel 2:8, Eze. 36:25-27 & 37:14 & 39:29, Jer. 31:28-38). This seems to be just like the Shavuot after the crucifixion. At that Shavuot, the apostles received the power with the Set Apart Spirit. The Spirit of the seven Spirits that rest on Messiah which is on branch 5 is power. This is also when the Reign of YHWH is restored and satan is cast down to earth and cannot enter the heavenlies anymore (Rev. 12:9-11).
What I have written on the first three branches is what we should be doing from the Pesach of the crucifixion to the fourth day, when at some Shavuot in the future the Power of the Spirit will again be poured out on His remnant. It seems logical that Apostles needed the Power of the Spirit to take the good news to the nations that certainly those that are His light in the great dark day will also. Paul quotes Isaiah Chapter 49 twice in the first eight verses. Isaiah 49 is about Yahushua’s work just before He returns that we are to do. I will show Paul’s quotes.
Isa 49:1 Listen to Me, O coastlands, and hear, you peoples from afar! YHWH has called Me from the womb, from My mother’s belly He has caused My Name to be remembered.
Isa 49:2 And He made My mouth like a sharp sword, in the shadow of His hand He hid Me, and made Me a polished shaft. In His quiver He hid Me.”
Isa 49:3 And He said to Me, ‘You are My servant, O Yisrael, in whom I am adorned.’
Isa 49:4 And I said, ‘I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for emptiness, and in vain. But my right-ruling is with YHWH, and my work with my Elohim.’ ”
Isa 49:5 And now said YHWH– who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, to bring Yaaqob back to Him, though Yisrael is not gathered to Him, yet I am esteemed in the eyes of YHWH, and My Elohim has been My strength –
Isa 49:6 and He says, “Shall it be a small matter for You to be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Yaaqob, and to bring back the preserved ones of Yisrael? And I shall give You as a light to the nations, to be My deliverance to the ends of the earth (Isa. 60:1-4, Dan. 12:3 & Matt.13:43).
(Act 13:47 “For so the Master has commanded us, “I have set you to be a light to the nations, that you should be for deliverance to the ends of the earth”). He is giving us to be the light in the dark days ahead.
Isa 49:7 Thus said , the Redeemer of Yisrael, their Set-apart One, to the despised , to the loathed One of the nation, to the Servant of rulers, “Sovereigns shall see and arise, rulers also shall bow themselves, because of who is steadfast, the Set-apart One of Yisrael. And He has chosen You!”
Isa 49:8 Thus said YHWH, “In a favorable time I shall answer You, and in the day of deliverance I shall help You – and I guard You and give You for a covenant of the people, to restore the earth, to cause them to inherit the ruined inheritances. (2Cor 6:2: For He says, “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in a day of deliverance I have helped you.” See, now is the well-accepted time, see, now is a day of deliverance”).
Notice in verse 8 He says He will help us in the day of deliverance. What we are studying is the day of His deliverance. The favorable time is the times till the second coming and the day of deliverance is the second coming. That is when He will help us and give us the power to do all miracles.
Oba 1:15 “For the day of YHWH is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you, your reward shall come back on your own head.
Oba 1:16 “For as you have drunk on my set-apart mountain, so do all the nations drink continually (Joel 3:3). And they shall drink and shall swallow, and they shall be as though they had never been.
Oba 1:17 “But on Mount Tsiyon there shall be an escape, (Isa. 4:2-3, Joe. 2:32, Rev. 14:1) and they shall be set-apart. And the house of Yaaqob shall possess their possessions.
Oba 1:18 “And the house of Yaaqob shall be a fire, and the house of Yoseph a flame, but the house of Esaw for stubble. And they shall burn among them and they shall consume them, so that no survivor is left of the house of Esaw.” For YHWH has spoken.
Oba 1:19 And they shall possess the South with the mountains of Esaw, and low country with the Philistines. And they shall possess the fields of Ephrayim and the fields of Shomeron, and Binyamin with Gilad,
Oba 1:20 and the exiles of this host of the children of Yisrael possess that of the Canaanites as far as Tsarephath, and the exiles of Yerushalayim who are in Sepharad possess the cities of the South.
Oba 1:21 And saviors shall come to Mount Tsiyon to judge the mountains of Esaw. And the reign shall belong to YHWH (Psa. 2:8, Psa. 22:28, Dan. 2:44, 7:13-14 and 7:27, Zec. 14:9, Rev. 11:15 & 12:10.)
Isa 24:21 And in that day it shall be that YHWH punishes on high the host of exalted ones (evil angels), and on the earth the sovereigns of the earth.
Isa 24:22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison (through the Millennial Reign), and be punished after many days (they will be punished at the end of the Millennial Reign).
