The Restoration of The Reign of Elohim in The Heavens and on The Earth

An evaluation of YHWH’s Reign in the heavens and on earth from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21

The restoration of all things

This statement tells us something needs to be restored. If something needs to be restored, then something has to have been lost.

Acts 3:20-21: “He (Eloah-our Heavenly Father) sends Yahushua Messiah, pre-appointed for you, whom heaven needs to receive until the restoration of all matters, of which Elohim spoke through the mouth of all His set-apart prophets since of old”.

What restorations have all Eloah’s prophets spoken of since of old?

In Acts 1:1-8, the apostles spent forty days with Yahushua following the crucifixion and resurrection. The last thing they asked Him was, “Master, would You at this time restore the reign to Israel?” (They didn’t ask him if He would, but when He would). He then said to them, “It is not for you to know times and seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.” “But you shall receive power when the Set-Apart Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judah and Shomeron, and to the ends of the Earth“ (witnessing the Restoration of the Reign of Elohim on Earth through Yahushua Messiah, i.e., The Good News). In verse 7 of Acts Chapter 1, if you look at every word in Greek translated mechanically (word for word), this phrase should be translated as “is it not for you to know.” This would make this statement congruent with 1st Thessalonians 5:1-8, which tells us we should know the times and the seasons of Yahushua’s return. Either way it is translated, the Spirit will reveal what we need to know when we need to know it. This was part of the witness that the apostles were to go and proclaim to the House of Israel (the Lost 10 Tribes and those of Judah who were still in the diaspora). Notice above that the heavens needed to receive Yahushua until the restoration of all matters (Micah 5:2-3 & Revelation 12:5). So, Yahushua will be in the heavens until all matters are restored. This is also important for a total understanding of what is coming that we should know.

The prophet Micah speaks of the beginning of this time of restoration and gives a little more information as follows.

Micha 5:2  “But you, Beyth Lechem Ephrathah, you who are little among the clans of Judah, out of you shall come forth to Me the One to become Ruler in Israel. And His comings forth are of old, from everlasting.”
Micah 5:3  Therefore, He shall give them up (Revelation 12:5), until the time that she who is in labor has given birth, and the remnant of His brothers (Hebrews 2:11) return to the children of Israel.
Micah 5:4  And He shall stand and shepherd in the strength of YHWH, in the excellency of the Name of YHWH His Elohim (John 17:11). And they shall dwell, for at that time He shall be great, to the ends of the earth (Ezekiel 34:13-14).
Micah 5:5  And this shall be peace. When Ashshur comes into our land, and when he treads in our palaces, we shall raise against him seven shepherds and eight leaders of men.
Micah 5:6  And they shall shepherd the land of Ashshur with the sword, and the land of Nimrod at its entrances. And He shall deliver us from Ashshur, when he comes into our land and when he treads within our borders.
Micah 5:7  And the remnant of  Yaaqob, Israel (Revelation 12:17) shall be in the midst of many peoples, as dew from YHWH, as showers on the grass, which do not wait for man nor delay for the sons of men (Ezekiel 37).
Micha 5:8  And the remnant of  Yaaqob, Israel (Revelation 12:17) shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of a forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, who, if he passes through, shall both tread down and shall tear, and there is no one to deliver.

Micha 5:9  Let your hand be lifted up against your adversaries, and all your enemies be cut off.

These verses in Micah tell us that His appearances are from old and everlasting, and He will return when the remnant of His brothers return to the children of Israel. This can be understood when you realize that Yahushua comes in His Father’s name, which His Father has given to Him. He walked with Adam and Eve in the Garden.

John 17:11  “And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Set apart, Father, guard them in Your Name which You have given Me (Matthew 23:39, Psalms 118:26, John 12:13, Luke 13:35, and Mark 11:9) so that they might be one, as We are one. (Also see John 10:30.)

The sages see the appearances spoken of in Micah 5:2 as those of the Angel of the Lord. When they see YHWH doing anthropomorphic things (physical things such as destroying something) and anthropopathic (showing feelings such as love and hate), they say that our Father in Heaven, as an invisible Spirit, cannot do such things. So, they attribute these actions to what they call the Angel of the Lord, who is coming in Avinu’s Name, YHWH (Avinu means “Our Father” in Hebrew). In the Zohar, the deep mystical understanding of Judaism, this entity is called Metatron, and they say he sits at the right-hand of Eloah (singular for Elohim, which is always our Father in Heaven), and records all that He says, and then comes to Earth to do what he was told to do. This certainly fits Yahushua according to what He says about Himself in John Chapter 17, Hebrews Chapter 1, and 1st Corinthians 15:20-28.

The Reign of Elohim

There are 79 verses in the apostles’ writings that use the term “the Reign of Elohim.” Luke 4:43 defines the good news as the Reign of Elohim.

Luke 4:43 “And He said to them, ‘To the other cities I also have to bring the Good News, the reign of Elohim, because for this I have been sent.’”

The term “good news” appears in 120 verses throughout the scriptures. One well-known witness is as follows.

Matthew 24:14 “And this good news of the reign shall be proclaimed in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.”

So, the good news is that the Reign of Elohim is being restored to the Father through His Son, and then the end shall come.

1st Corinthians 15:24  then the end, when He delivers up the reign to Elohim the Father, when He has brought to naught all rule and all authority and power.

This restoration of Eloah’s reign is certainly accomplished through Yahushua, who gave His life to redeem the righteous remnant of the seed of Adam. Yahushua redeemed us from the law of sin and death (Reference Romans 8:2), but he has yet to deliver us from the knowledge of, and propensity for, the sin that dwells in us. That will happen when He destroys all evil, satan is cast out of heaven, and there is no longer a place for him and his followers in heaven anymore. At that time, satan will no longer be able to accuse this righteous remnant day and night before Eloah; his case will be over, and he and his followers will be found guilty (Reference Revelation 12:10).

When is the end that is coming?

Here again, the good news is the coming restored Reign of Elohim through Israel, with Yahushua as their King, ruling over the Earth. The first step in this process was our redemption through the life, death, and resurrection of Yahushua, the anointed of Eloah. His Only begotten Son, who redeemed us from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2). This is the generational curse of sin, then death. This was established by the willful sin of the first Adam. Yahushua’s sinless life, death, and resurrection left satan’s kingdom of darkness (separation from Light, i.e., Eloah, the source of life) a wreck. Raising all the seed of Adam (all of Adam’s descendants) out of that kingdom of sin and rebellion (Romans 5:18, John 2:2-4, and Ephesians 4:8-10). In order to receive this redemption, you must accept it. Then you must be immersed (mikvah), followed by obedience to the Torah (Torah = Teachings of Elohim). The four witnesses are John 3:36, 1st John 2:3-4, 5:2-3, Romans 2:13, and 8:7.

As I move forward, it can be seen that the Reign that Elohim (the Father, through the Son) set up on the Earth had already fallen into a state of tohoo and bohoo, translated as “formless and void” in Genesis 1:2. Both of these words’ root meanings are chaos as a result of rebellion. The descendants of Adam are still not completely delivered from the curse of Adam until the seed that satan planted in humanity is removed, which is the lie: “Surely you will not die, you will be like Elohim, knowing good and evil.” It can be seen in Matthew 13:40-41, when this deliverance occurs. It is when the knowledge of evil is removed from the descendants of Adam, and when satan is cast out of heaven (Revelation 12:9-10).

Revelation 12:9  And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the devil and satan, who leads all the world astray. He was thrown to the earth, and his messengers were thrown out with him.
Revelation 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in the heaven, “Now have come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohim and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down.“

Revelation 11:15 speaks of this same deliverance at the time of the seventh trumpet.

This is when our deliverance will be complete, and our bodies will be healed and cleansed (Ezekiel 36:24:35, Matthew 13:41, Jeremiah 31:27-37, and Romans 8:11).

The Creation Stories

The following is especially important to understand all that has been and will be. I will present information from the scriptures and leave it to readers to decide whether they agree with what happened between Genesis Chapters 1 and 2. If you disagree, please share your ideas with scriptural support. Keep in mind that two to three witnesses establish all matters. Again, we must consider what caused Elohim’s reign to need restoration.

The first theory of how the creation transpired is that the heavens and the earth were created as witnessed in Genesis 1:1, and the rest of the creation story is a commentary on that creation. The second theory is that the heavens and earth were created in Genesis 1:1. In Genesis 1:2, the heavens and earth had somehow become formless and void. In a chaotic state, as mentioned above. It was in the same state that the Earth was during Noah’s flood. The second theory is that Genesis 1:2 forward is about the restoration of the Earth and the reign of Elohim in the Heavens and on the Earth after whatever caused it to fall into this state of chaos. Most people, when asked, will pick the first scenario because it is what we have been taught, but I believe the following information in this article, in the context of all scripture, shows that the second is much more likely to be correct. In Genesis 1:2, in the ISR and King James translations, it says the Earth came to be formless and void (the Hebrew is Tohoo va Bohoo).

Scriptures that are related to Genesis 1:1 and 1:2

Let’s examine the translation of Genesis 1:1, which is usually rendered “In the beginning” rather than “In the first.” The original Hebrew is Bereshiyt; the “be” means “in,” and “reshiyt” means “first.” The word for “the” in Hebrew is “Ha.” There is no “Ha” before Bereshiyt. There are many ways to translate this, but it doesn’t literally say “in the.” I bring this up because Genesis 1:1 is not the beginning of everything. The word “the” is almost always inserted into English translations. “Bereshiyt bara Elohim et ha’shamayim ve’et ha-aretz.” The translation is: in the first (of the creation of the heavens and Earth), Elohim created the heavens and the earth. “Et” being the Aleph and the Tav, which is related to the beginning of a covenant, usually through Yahushua, to the end of that covenant.

We know the angels were created before the heavens and the Earth. The following is a witness.

Job 38:4  Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare if you have understanding.
Job 38:5  Who set its measurements, if you know? Or who stretched the line upon it?
Job 38:6  Upon what were its foundations sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone,
Job 38:7  When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of Elohim shouted for joy?

This shows the angels that existed before Genesis 1:1.

Here are a few verses about Elohim, the Father, creating through His only born Son, Yahushua, who comes in the Name of His Father (Matthew 23:39, Psalms 118:26, John 12:13, and Mark 11:9).

Psalms 33:6  By the Word of YHWH the heavens were made, and all their host by the Spirit of His mouth.

YHWH created the angels through Yahushua (the Word) before Genesis Chapter 1. This tells us Yahushua preexisted the angels and all else of this cosmos we can comprehend.

John 1:3  All came to be through Him, and without Him, not even one came to be that came to be. (Ephesians 3:9, Colossians 1:16, Hebrews 1:2, and 11:3, II Peter 3:5, and Psalms 33:6.)

Ephesians 3:9  and to make all see how this secret is administered, which for ages past has been hidden in Elohim who created all through Yahushua Messiah (John 1:3).

Hebrews 1:2  has in these last days spoken to us by the Son, whom He has appointed heir of all, through whom also He made the ages (Reference John 1:3.)

Deuteronomy 32:9  For the portion of YHWH (Yahushua) is His people, Yaaqob (Jacob), His allotted inheritance.

Because of the unrighteousness of Elohim’s ministering angels, all the nations of the Earth became Yahushua’s inheritance. Read Psalms Chapter 82 now. I will be in that chapter several times in this article. I am very redundant in some areas because I have found that most people connect with something only after hearing it the third or fourth time. When I am being redundant by repeating a verse, the relationship of that verse to another is usually not the same as the one I related it to the previous time, so it is growing the reader’s group of related scriptures.

I will examine Psalms 82 and its relationship to Deuteronomy 32:8 later in this article. What we will find there is very interesting. For one thing, there are differences between ancient manuscripts and modern translations. This alerts us that everything we have taken as truth may not be exactly as we thought. We must examine the scriptures to understand what has been lost and must be restored. Hopefully, it will cause readers to realize that the meaning of every word is essential for accurately understanding the whole of the scriptures. The restoration of all things is underway in this world right now. If we are in the latter days spoken of in Daniel Chapter 12, then the scroll he did not reveal is to be revealed now. The same goes for Revelation 10. It will be at the time of the two witnesses that we will be able to understand the thunders. In Daniel Chapter 12, it is said that those who have insight will save many; then again, it is said that those who have insight will understand the 1290- and 1335-day prophecies. It can be recognized when these periods of time will happen by the 1260 days of the two witnesses’ service. I will attach information at the end of this article showing how the scroll Daniel did not reveal has now been revealed.

Genesis 1:2 “And the earth came to be formless and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep. (The Hebrew word translated as “formless, or without form” is tohoo, and the word for “empty or void” is bohoo as said earlier). And the Spirit of Elohim was moving on the face of the waters.” In the scriptures, I have not found these words, tohoo or bohoo, to be associated with anything good coming from Elohim, but they are associated with Him dealing with sin. There are literary parallels with this statement in Genesis 1:2 and the flood of Noah’s time. The Earth was in a cursed state of chaos, as described in Genesis 1:2. In the flood of Noah’s time, the Earth also became in a depraved state by the rebellion of the angels, as seen in Genesis 6:2. At that time, the angels came down. They produced offspring through the daughters of men (who became giants). There are those who say the beings who descended upon the women in Genesis 6:2 were humans rather than angels. They were angels, if you believe in the Brit Hadashah (known to Christians as the New Testament).

Jude 1:6  And the messengers (angels) who did not keep their own principality, but left their own dwelling, He has kept in everlasting shackles under darkness for the judgment of the great day.

2Pe 2:4  For if Elohim did not spare the messengers who sinned, but sent them to Tartaros, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be kept for judgment. (We can see that the apostles believed these fallen ones were angels, not men.)

Who were YHWH’s chosen entities that were to rule over Elohims’ creation? And how did the Earth get in this state of chaos?

First, I will explore those described as “the sons of Elohim,” who were chosen by YHWH to rule and reign over the Earth over time. The Scriptures name multiple entities as “sons of Elohim.”

  1. In Job 2:1: “The sons of Elohim came to present themselves before Elohim, and satan was with them.” These are Angels (renderedmessengers” most of the time in Hebrew). Satan was called “the covering cherub” of the garden of Elohim in Ezekiel 28:14 (the one with authority to care for, guard, and rule over). Helel is referred to as Helel (shining in the sense of brightness) in Isaiah 14:12. There is much more to be said about these mentions of Helel later in this article.
  2. In Luke 3:38, Adam is listed in the genealogy of Yahushua as the son of Elohim.
  3. In Deuteronomy 32:8, the nations were divided according to the number of the Sons of Elohim (Angels).
  4. In Psalms 82, Elohim stands in the congregation of El and judges them for judging perversely. Then, in verse six, He confirms that they are all sons of Eloah, El Elyon (the Most High). They are angels. Then, in verse seven, He condemns them to die as men. And finally, in verse eight, He gives the whole earth to Yahushua as His inheritance to judge. At this point, the judgment was taken from the unrighteous ministering angels and given to Yahushua, His Firstborn Son, as mentioned above.
  5.  In John 1:4, 1:18, 3:16, and 3:18, Yahushua is called the Son of Elohim.
  6.  In Romans 8:13-19, those led by the Spirit of Elohim (Israel, Ephesians 2:11-12 and 2:19) are called the sons of Elohim.
  7. The whole nation of Israel is declared Yahuah’s firstborn son in Exodus 4:22-23. So, Israel is a Firstborn Nation. Hosea 1:10 calls the return of that firstborn Nation (lost sheep of Israel, Matthew 15:24 and 10:6) sons of the Living Elohim.

Mashal-Rule

These entities were all to rule for our Heavenly Father (Avinu ba’shamayim) in His image. The Hebrew word for this type of rulership is Mashal.

The first instance of this word in the Torah, referring to a human being, appears in Genesis 3:16, where it says that Adam will rule over Chava (Eve). Then Genesis 4:7, when Elohim is talking to Cain about his offering not being pleasing, He tells Cain that if he does not do well, sin crouches at his door and his desire is for you, but you rule (if you stay in My image) over him. The word Mashal means rulership bestowed on a human or angelic being by an Entity above them. As we will see, the recipient of the rulership is to rule exactly as the one who put him in that position. That is to be an imager of his Master. Cain is told that if he stays in Elohim’s image, sin will not get its desires; instead, he will rule over sin. If Cain does not remain in the image of Elohim, then satan will get his desire for Cain, and that is, Cain will act in the image of satan (the adversary of Elohim).

The next appearance is in Genesis 24:2. This time, it is used for Abraham’s eldest servant, whom he has given to rule his entire household. This is assumed to be Eliezar. If you look at all we know about him, he was definitely operating in the image of Abraham (Genesis 15:2-3).

The next appearance is in Genesis 37:8, when Joseph tells his brothers and father about his dream of the sun, moon, and stars bowing to him. His brothers said to him, “Shall you Mashal over us?” Interestingly enough, the next appearance of Mashal is in Genesis 45:8, and it is Joseph telling his brothers, “You did not send me here, but Elohim has made me a father to Pharaoh, and Master of all His house, and Ruler (Mashal) throughout all the land of Mitsrayim (Egypt).” Even though Pharaoh put Joseph in that position, it is said that Elohim had made him a father to Pharaoh. This means Joseph was not operating in the image of Pharaoh; instead, Elohim had subordinated Pharaoh to Joseph, who was operating in the Image of Elohim. Ultimately, Joseph was not ruling for Pharaoh but was imaging Elohim in his rulership of Mitsrayim. Joseph’s story is symbolically associated with Yahushua and His Father, Eloah.

Yahushua was and still is the perfect image of His Father, who gave Him rule over all His House. In John Chapters 5 and 17, the things Yahushua said about His relationship with His Father show us exactly how that relationship works. That relationship can be seen in more detail in 1st Corinthians 15:21-28.

Since we are sons of the Living Elohim, our job is to be imagers of our Father in Heaven and His Son. In this way, we will be a light unto the nations to bring all who will come to our Heavenly Father through Yahushua.

The belief of Abraham

Another thing that will help us understand what it means to be this light unto the nations is Abraham’s belief. Abraham’s belief is paramount to being all we were created to be and fulfilling our destiny as children of Elohim. It is our starting point for becoming a light to the nations, being imagers of our Father in heaven, Eloah, and His Son, Yahushua, who comes in His Father’s Name YHWH. Eloah is the singular, and Elohim is the plural. When you see Eloah, it refers to the Father, and Elohim, the Father and Son. An example is in beginnings: Genesis 1:1 states that Elohim created the heavens and the earth.

In John 1:1-3, it is said in verse 1, “In beginnings was the Word and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim” …3 “all came to be through Him, and without Him, not even one came to be that came to be.”

Abraham’s beliefs, as evidenced by his actions, are as follows: He believed that Eloah was the source of all that exists, and that Eloah was in 100% control of His creation at all times. Abraham never doubted, even after waiting 25 years to receive the son promised to him. When he was told to take his promised son and offer him as an ascending offering, he did not delay but rose early the next morning and departed to the place where he was commanded to offer him. He had to have believed that Elohim would bring him back from the dead if he did offer him. The witness to this is when he saw the mountain where he was to offer his son Isaac, Abraham said to his young men who were with them, “Stay here with the donkey while the boy and I go over there and worship and come back to you.” He told Yitshaq (Isaac), “Elohim will provide the lamb for the burnt (Olah or ascending) offering” (Genesis Chapter 22).

Abraham was told to leave the land of his birth, leaving his inheritance behind. The Hebrew word is lech lecha, meaning get up and go. This is the same thing that is said when he is told to take Yitshaq into the land of Moriah to the Mount to offer him. Later, Solomon’s Temple was erected here. In both cases, as said above, he got up and went without delay.

If anyone can honestly believe that our Father in heaven is in total control of His creation at all times and that all we have to do is wait for Him to guide our way, then they can have total shalom under any conditions. That shalom is our light to all who see it, especially in the coming dark days. The natural result of this kind of belief is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, uprightness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22).

My wife’s and my lives became so much better when we realized this and quit trying to get ahead of Elohim. We don’t know the exact destiny He created us for, but He does. So, if we wait and let Him guide our every step, we will fulfill what He created us to be and do. James 4:7: Subject yourselves to Elohim; resist the devil, and he shall flee from you. When we realize this, we should have total shalom because Elohim is in control of whatever happens.

Abraham was chosen to be the Father of a Nation that was declared Elohim’s first-born Nation (Exodus 4:22). That Nation (known as Israel) came through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (who was renamed Israel in Genesis 35:10). Israel would be a first-born nation of people chosen to do what Adam was commanded to do in the beginning. Their job was and is to subdue the world, bringing all that will come into obedience to Eloah, Our Father in Heaven, through Yahushua, His Son. Then, as sons of the living Elohim going forward, in the image (in the character, the values) of Elohim. To teach them His ways and to judge matters within the Torah for them. As a firstborn (Melekizedek) Nation, Israel was also to redeem any of the family of the seed of Adam that falls into bondage. Abraham was chosen to be the father of a nation of people—later known as Israel—who were “to be priests, sovereigns, and judges to the nations.” The Father’s (Avinu’s) chosen people through Abraham were to be a royal priesthood (Exodus 19:5-6 and 1st Peter 2:9). They were to rule (Mashal) for Elohim on the earth as His first-born nation (a corporate first-born, Exodus 4:22). They were to be the inheritance of Yahushua Messiah who comes in the Name of YHWH (Deuteronomy 32:9). I will give more detail on the Melekizedek, firstborn order, presently.

Of the seven mentions of the sons of Elohim, four refer to the angels, five to Yahushua, and six and seven refer to the righteous seed of Adam. One differs from the others (Hosea 1:10). The difference is that it says, “sons of the living Elohim.” Also, in Romans 9:26, 2nd Corinthians 6:18, Galatians 3:26, 4:5-6, and Ephesians 1:5, these sons of the living Elohim are led by the Spirit of Elohim, which leads them to be called “sons of Elohim.”

All of those, one through seven, have one thing in common: they were all created to be Eloah’s “priest, sovereigns and judges on the earth,” and those that fell by sin caused the Earth to be cursed. In the case of satan, all the Earth was cursed and left in a state of chaos because of his rebellion. In the case of Adam, we see the Earth being cursed again. Because of the sin of Cain, the Earth was again cursed, and to a greater degree than with Adam. In the case of Israel’s and Judah’s rebellion, Eloah just cursed their inheritance, the promised land. Notice that those sinning are punished, but the Earth is cursed in each case (three witnesses). Adam’s job was to tend to the garden, care for it, and guard it so that it would produce as YHWH created it to do. This is man’s job on Earth. When he does not do it, the ground is cursed. Without the Torah, the Earth will come apart. It is happening today because of the great increase in evil.

In the following quote from Jeremiah Chapter 4, Eloah warns Judah to turn from their evil ways, or He will bring destruction to them. In verses 23-28, He describes a destruction that surpasses that of the flood of Noah’s time. Jeremiah 4:23 is the same as Genesis 1:2. Jeremiah 4:25 indicates there was “no man left nor were there any birds.” In Noah’s time, these were preserved.

Jeremiah 4:14  O Yerushalayim, wash your heart from evil, and be saved. Till when would your wicked thoughts remain within you?
Jeremiah 4:15  For a voice is declaring from Dan, and is proclaiming trouble from Mount Ephrayim:
Jeremiah 4:16  “Announce to the nations, look, proclaim against Yerushalayim, that besiegers are coming from a distant land and raise their voice against the cities of Yehuḏah.
Jeremiah 4:17  “Like keepers of a field they are against her all around, because she has rebelled against Me,” declares YHWH.
Jeremiah 4:18  “Your ways and your deeds have brought this upon you. This is your evil. It is bitter because it has reached into your heart.”

Anguish over Judah’s Desolation.
Jeremiah 4:19  O my inward parts, my inward parts! I am in pain! OH, the walls of my heart! My heart pounds in me. I am not silent. For you have heard, O my being, a voice of a shophar, a shout of battle!
Jeremiah 4:20  Destruction upon destruction is cried, for all the land is ravaged. Suddenly, my tents are ravaged – my curtains in a moment.
Jeremiah 4:21  How long shall I see a banner and hear the voice of a shophar?
Jeremiah 4:22  “For My people are foolish, they have not known Me. They are stupid children, and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but to do good, they have no knowledge.

Next is a warning of what this kind of disobedience can produce.

Jeremiah 4:23 I looked at the earth, and saw it was formless and empty (tohoo and bohoo exactly what is said in Gen. 1:2). And the heavens, they had no light. (The sun, moon, and stars were not destroyed or darkened in the flood of Noah.)
Jeremaih 4:24 I looked at the mountains and saw they shook, and all the hills swayed.
Jeremiah 4:25 I looked, and saw there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens had fled.
(Not all men were not destroyed in the flood of Noah.)
Jeremiah 4:26 I looked, and saw the garden land was a wilderness, and all its cities were broken down at the presence of YHWH, by His burning displeasure.
Jeremiah 4:27 For thus said YHWH, “All the earth shall be a ruin, but I shall not make a complete end.
Jeremiah 4:28 “On account of this, let the earth mourn, and the heavens above be dark, because I have spoken, because I have purposed and shall not relent, nor do I turn back from it.”

Notice that the heavens above are dark. Both tohoo and bohoo are rooted in lying in waste or ruin. This is a direct parallel with Genesis 1:2. The Earth’s condition was the same as in Jeremiah Chapter 4. Yahudah (Judah) is being warned of the results of wickedness in a previous destruction. These conditions are the conditions that will witness Yahushua’s return.

In Genesis, the flood of Noah was to cleanse the Earth and remove the evil beings. At the end of the age, the Earth will be cleansed by fire (2nd Peter 3:10). The heavens and earth will be destroyed in the last cleansing. The heavens and the earth are the two witnesses to how long the Torah will be our guide. The Torah given by Elohim at Mt. Sinai was for humanity. When we enter the new Yarushalayim, we will be angelic. This is why there is no man left in the above-described destruction. The destruction seen above symbolizes the first cleansing of the Earth by water, caused by a rebellion, and the final cleansing by fire, which totally restores the Earth, making it a fit place for the New Yarushalayim and Eloah to dwell. The Father of all, who at that time will be all in all (1st Corinthians 15:28). A place for the Supreme Eloah to inhabit (2nd Peter 3:10 and 1st Corinthians 15:23-28). Between these two destructions was the flood of Noah. It was somewhat like Genesis 1:2, because the upper and lower waters came together again—a type of de-creation—creating a state where a human could not survive except for the supernatural protection of the ark. There is a perfect parallel chiasmus between Genesis 1:2 and the flood of Noach: mirror images.

Did Elohim create the earth to be tohoo? Isaiah 45:18 says No!

Isaiah 45:18 “For thus said YHWH, Creator of the heavens, He is Elohim, Former of Earth and its Maker, He established it, He did not create it to be tohoo (empty), He formed it to be inhabited: ‘I am YHWH, and there is no one else.

The word here translated as “empty” is tohoo, the same word in Genesis 1:2. So Elohim did not create the Earth to be tohoo. This is another witness that it was not the Father’s will that the Earth be formless and void, but was the result of a rebellion. What I am proposing is that there was a rebellion in the heavens and on the Earth that left it in the condition described in Genesis 1:2.

For a third witness

In 2nd Peter 3:5-7, it can be seen that there were heavens of old with the earth standing out of water and then in water by the Word of Elohim (Yahushua) by which the Earth was destroyed at that time. The Spirit hovering over the deep in Genesis 1:2 was the Messiah (midrash Rabah 2:4). Then the “present heavens” are mentioned. So, we see an “old heaven” and the “present heavens.” This flood spoken of in 2nd Peter could be a flood of the Earth caused by satan’s rebellion (Genesis 1:2), since we can see the sun, moon, and stars were not affected in Noah’s flood. Read all of 2nd Peter Chapter 3. Peter says those mocking have chosen to have this flood hidden from themselves. Then the mockers say, “Where is the coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all continues as from the beginning of creation. They chose to have the flood that occurred between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 hidden from themselves. Then Peter tells us how to understand when this flood happened so that it won’t be hidden from us in the latter days. He says that with YHWH, a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day (Psalms 90:1-17). In other words, Peter is telling us that there is a literal 24-hour day and a parabolic prophetic thousand-year day. The first day in Genesis Chapter 1 can be any length that Elohim wants it to be, because linear time was not created until the fourth day. Still, in the context of the scriptural information we have, it is either a literal 24 hours or a parabolic thousand years. According to Peter, the thousand-year day is how we will be able to understand when the second coming of Yahushua will happen, along with the last part of our redemption, the removal of all sin, including the sin that dwells in us.

The righteous of Israel are to go through the whole earth and bring to Elohim all that will come in obedience to His Torah, which is what Adam was to do, and most likely what satan was to do when he was the covering cherub of the garden of Elohim. As we will see later, Israel will fulfill this destiny in the Millennial Reign with Yahushua as their King. Time, as we know it, was not established until day four when the creation of the sun, moon, and stars was given to the appointments (moedim in Hebrew). They were established so we could know when our appointments with Elohim would be. These appointments are described in Leviticus 23.

For a fourth witness

Psalms 104:30 “You sent forth Your Spirit (Yahushua), they are created, And You renew the face of the Earth.” The Earth here is not being created but renewed.

Genesis 1:2 onward describes the restoration of creation in Genesis 1:1. In Isaiah 34:11, tohoo and bohoo are used to describe the emptiness of the land of Edom after its destruction.  Notice that these two words are associated with destruction for rebellion and what the state of the land is in after the destruction.

It is time to see what is said about these sons of Elohim in the context of what the scriptures being examined reveal, starting with satan (adversary), i.e., the devil. Please read Isaiah Chapter 14 and Ezekiel Chapter 28, which I quoted above, before continuing. Both of these chapters are parabolic comparisons of literal human Kings with angelic beings set to reign over a nation established at the Table of Nations when Babel was divided through the confusion of languages.

Isaiah 14:11-14 speaks of the rebellion of Helel (some translations render it as “Lucifer,” but this is incorrect). If you continue reading verse 17, it says he made the world a wilderness and destroyed its cities, the exact condition described in Jeremiah 4:26. Then he tries to ascend above YHWH on the sides of the north. This chapter describes the rebellion. His fall was due to pride, and he was being compared to Nebuchadnezzar. There is another way to look at this. That is, it is referring to Nimrod. He was ruling the entire world, all nations. This is the correct way to view what is being said. The reason I say this is the next parabolic comparison, as follows.

In Ezekiel 28:13-16, we see the adversary was in the Garden of Eden and is called the “covering cherub,” as mentioned above, indicating he was the ruler and protector of the garden and its care, just as Adam was later to be. This chapter explains Helel’s creation and purpose and describes what caused his fall. In this case, pride led to greed. Helel is compared to the sovereign of Babel in Isaiah 14 and to the sovereign of Tsor (called Tyre in some translations) in Ezekiel 28. His pride (as shown in Isaiah 14) and greed (as shown in Ezekiel 28) were his downfall. Tsor and Sidon were the New York City of the Mediterranean Sea.

I want to say that whatever entity YHWH had chosen to rule for Him on this earth, He only had one ruler at a time reigning over the Earth. In other words, Helel and Adam could not rule simultaneously. I believe the evidence shows Helel was first. Otherwise, why is satan, which we have seen means adversary in Hebrew, slinking around the garden with evil intentions? It seems that after satan’s rebellion, he made a case against YHWH that any being, angelic or human, would do as he did. In other words, he was projecting his pride and greed on all of YHWH’s creation. YHWH will allow these accusations until satan is proved wrong, cast down to the Earth (Revelation Chapter 12), and becomes mortal (Psalms Chapter 82). An article I wrote on Job explains the relationship between Avinu (Our Father) and satan, and how satan operates today. The adversary is a narcissist, unable to see reality because he cannot comprehend a being who would not want to be exactly like him. This is why he can read all the prophecies about his destruction and still think he can win. He is unable to comprehend that he will not ultimately win.

The above scriptures establish that the heavens and the Earth were created in a beginning, not the beginning of all things. When the heavens and earth were created, Helel was placed here to rule over the Garden of Eden (Ezekiel 28:11-19). Then sin entered the Earth through the one who was created to be the ruler of the garden, i.e., Helel. He rebelled, causing the Earth to be cursed and to lie in a formless and void state. YHWH established a plan for the restoration of the Earth and His Reign in the heavens and on the Earth through the following chosen vessels. Adam (who also caused the Earth to be cursed through willful disobedience). Abraham, Yitshaq (Issac), then Yakkov (Jacob), the father of the Chosen Nation, Israel. Yahushua, the Messiah (Ha’Mashiach), the Firstborn of Eloah-YHWH, and the second Adam. He was born by the Spirit through the seed of a woman. He was chosen to be Priest, Sovereign, and Judge (Melechitsedeq) of the whole earth (Psalms 82). And finally, those who accept Yahushua’s redemption and choose to follow YHWH’s Ways (Torah) in obedience (Romans 8:14) become sons of Elohim (B’ney ha’Elohim).

Now, I will show some legal aspects of being a First-Born Kinsman Redeemer.

First, it can be seen that YHWH chooses a being or people group to rule over the Earth. Note that Adam was told to rule over and subdue the Earth and all that was on it. It wasn’t given to him to rule over all the Earth, as the nations do, but to do it through being a servant. He was to be their Priest, Sovereign, and Judge. That may sound odd, but Yahushua Messiah told us how to understand this. He told the apostles that to be the greatest, you must be the servant. The priest is a servant to the people, teaching them the ways of YHWH. The judge serves the people by making just rulings when disputes arise. The sovereign is a servant to the people by protecting them. No man is to rule over YHWH’s people. YHWH rules through His Son, who submits to His Father in all things. Anyone attempting to rule over those who have the eternal life of YHWH in them would be doing exactly what Helel did in Isaiah 14—trying to elevate himself above the throne of YHWH. YHWH (The Father) has given the Kingship to His Son (Yahushua) until YHWH (The Father) has put all under Yahushua’s feet. Then Yahushua Messiah will turn the reign back to The Father (1st Corinthians 15:20-28) so He will be All in All.

1st Corinthians 15:20  But now Messiah has been raised from the dead and has become the first fruit of those having fallen asleep.
1st Cor. 15:21  For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a Man.
1st Cor. 15:22  For as all die in Adam, so also all shall be made alive in Messiah.
1st Cor. 15:23  And each in his own order:  Messiah, the first fruits, then those who are of Messiah at His coming (the beginning of the Millennial Reign)
1st Cor. 15:24  then the end, (at the end of the Millennial Reign) when He delivers up the reign to Elohim the Father, when He has brought to naught all rule and all authority and power.
1st Cor. 15:25  For He has to reign until He has put all enemies under His feet.
1st Cor. 15:26  The last enemy to be brought to naught is death.
1st Cor. 15:27  For ”He has put all under His feet. But when He says, ‘all are put under Him,’ it is clear that He who put all under Him is excepted. (Reference Psalms 8:6, Matthew 11:27,  28:18, Ephesians 1:22, and Hebrews 2:8).
1st Cor. 15:28  And when all are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself shall also be subject to Him who put all under Him, so that Elohim (our heavenly Father) be all in all.

The point I’m making here is that there is a difference in ruling over and serving through these three attributes of The First Born (i.e., The Order of Melechitsedeq) as Yahushua did. He did not come to judge in His first coming but to save (John 3:17 and 12:47). He will return to judge (Reference Psalms 82).

Next, we see an established order for who would be chosen to rule the Earth. That order is the order of Melechitsedeq (spelled many different ways in English) (Exodus 22:28-29), which is the order of the firstborn. As the scriptures attest, the rule is that the firstborn male of each family belongs to YHWH. His job was to be the priest, sovereign, and judge of that family for as long as he lived. They were set apart to YHWH, as said above. A Priest would be responsible for emulating (being an imager) and teaching YHWH’s Torah (teachings) to each generation. He is to be a Sovereign who protects the family and judges disputes according to the Torah of YHWH. In Luke 22:25-27, Yahushua Messiah tells the apostles that the sovereigns of the nations rule over them, and those who rule over them are called “workers of good.” Then He says, “But not so with you, but let he who is greatest among you be as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves.”

When the Levites stood up with Moshe after the sin of the golden calf, YHWH chose the Levites to serve before Him in place of the firstborn (Numbers 3:12). The heavenly order never changed. As a firstborn nation (Exodus 4:22), Israel’s job never changed either. Those who are blood Israel or grafted in, are to emulate the values of YHWH in the nations, teach them Torah, judge matters in Torah, and protect them from evil. The witness that we are still a kingdom of priests to YHWH, as declared in Exodus 19:5-6, is that Peter quotes this passage in 1st Peter 2:9-10. In verse 10, Peter refers to Hosea 1:10 and 2:23, which speak of Israel becoming a nation again (Read all of Ezekiel 37). And Paul quotes Hosea 1:10 in Romans 9:26.

Torah was in the beginning and will be valid till the heavens and earth are destroyed and renewed (cleansed) for the new Yarushalayim (Jerusalem). Read Matthew 5:17-20.
For those reading this who are not Hebrew students, I might say that the word Torah means “teachings” or “instructions.” The Torah of YHWH has existed for eternity. Moses wrote it down at Mt. Sinai so Israel would have a definition for sin (Romans 5:13), but we know it existed on this earth from day one. Adam and Eve were told what they should do and what they should not do. Cain and Abel knew to make offerings to YHWH. Noah knew the difference between clean and unclean animals and to make offerings of thanksgiving. YHWH told all Israel the following.

Exodus 19:5-6 as mentioned above: “If you will diligently obey My words and guard My Covenant (notice the qualifier is, if you diligently obey), then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoplesfor all the Earth is Mineand you shall be to Me a reign of priest, a set-apart nation.”

This was before they reached Mt. Sinai and received the Torah. Whatever the teachings of YHWH were to each of these entities, they were all selected to rule for Eloah and be His imagers. YHWH gave those teachings to them, with the final set of instructions given to Moses for the Nation of His People, who would be the final Priests, Sovereigns, and Judges of the Earth with His Firstborn Son as their Head. They are “the body.” Through the redemption that all humanity received through the life, death, and resurrection of Yahushua (who obeyed even unto His death), they are now called Sons of the Living Elohim, as shown on earlier. The proof that this is still valid is as follows.

1st Peter 2:9  But you are a chosen race, (Deuteronomy 10:15), a royal priesthood, (Isaiah 61:6), a set-apart nation, (Exodus 19:5), a people for a possession (Isaiah 43:2) that you should proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (Isaiah 43:20 and 66:21, Deuteronomy 7:6, Exodus 19:5, and Titus 2:14).

The seed of Elohim still dwells in the righteous descendants of Adam now.

1st John 3:9 Everyone having been born of Elohim does not sin because His seed stays in him, and he is powerless to sin because he has been born of Elohim.

Romans 8:7  Because the mind of the flesh is enmity towards Elohim, for it does not subject itself to the Torah of Elohim, neither indeed is it able,
Romans 8:8  and those who are in the flesh are unable to please Elohim.
Romans 8:9  But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Messiah, this one is not His.
Romans 8:10  And if Messiah is in you, the body is truly dead on account of sin, but the Spirit is life on account of righteousness.
Romans 8:11  And if the Spirit of Him who raised Yahushua from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Messiah from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit dwelling in you.

Remember these verses. In them, it can be seen that the Spirit in His righteous people is the Spirit of the Father and the Son. It can be seen as follows: This is what our Heavenly Father did for Yahushua; His body did not see corruption. He and those who follow Him in truth have more work to do in these bodies. We are eternal, as He is, through the Spirit of Eloah, but we still dwell in our earthly tabernacles. These earthly bodies, referred to as the flesh, will be burned at the end of the Millennial Kingdom.

Acts 13:35  “For this reason, He also says in another Tehillah (Psalms), ‘You shall not give Your Lovingly-committed One to see corruption. (Psalms 26:10)
Act 13:36  “For David, indeed, having served his own generation by the counsel of Elohim, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption,
Acts 13:37  but He whom Elohim raised up saw no corruption.

Also, as follows.

Acts 2:31  foreseeing this, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Messiah, that His being was neither left in Sheol nor did His flesh see corruption.

Romans 8:11  And if the Spirit of Him who raised Yahushua from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Messiah from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit dwelling in you.

This will be important to discern when the righteous descendants of Adam will get their eternal angelic bodies. We have eternal life now, but the seed of satan is still in us until satan is thrown out of heaven.

eternal life now, but the seed of satan is still in us until satan is thrown out of heaven.

Revelation 12:9  And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the devil and satan, who leads all the world astray. He was thrown to the Earth, and his messengers were thrown out with him.
Revelation 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in the heaven, “Now have come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohim and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down. (Revelation 11:15 is the same time and at the seventh trumpet.)

This is when the tares-darnel (the seed satan planted in humanity) is removed (Matthew 13:40-43). At this time, Elohim will heal our mortal bodies (Reference Romans 8:11). Keep this in mind, because I will return to it.

Now, something to consider is the possibility that a firstborn could be disqualified because of sin.

In that case, the rights of the firstborn would move to the second. If he were not righteous, it would keep moving down until a righteous one was found. In the case of Cain and Abel, Cain was unrighteous, so the right would have moved to Abel. But Cain killed Abel, which transferred the rights of the firstborn to Seth. This pattern can be seen repeatedly through Isaac and Ishmael, Jacob and Esau, and Reuben, Simeon, and Levi, as they lose their rights through unrighteousness. Leaving the right to Yahudah. Ultimately, the first Adam lost the right to the second Adam, Yahushua. The Firstborn of the heavenly who came to redeem and to bring all the descendants of Adam out of sheol (1st John 2:2, John 1:29, 6:33, 6:51, and 12:47 for a few), and to bring back the lost sheep of Israel.

Matthew 15:24 And He (Yahushua Messiah), answering, said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

A second witness is as follows.

Matthew 10:5  Yahushua sent these twelve out, having commanded them, saying, “Do not go into the way of the nations, and do not enter a cities of the Shomeronim,
Matthew 10:6  but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Who were these lost sheep of Israel?

Another thing that can be seen about the firstborn is that they get the inheritance. Notice that Abraham gave gifts to all his sons while he was alive and sent them away, but to Isaac, he gave all he had. The reason for this is that, through the firstborn, they have enough to continue their family line and to redeem anyone in the family who might fall into bondage or slavery of any kind. The firstborn’s job was to redeem their lost brother and see that his inheritance continued, even by producing an offspring for the firstborn brother who died, as we see in Genesis 38, when Judah gave Onan to Tamar, the wife of his firstborn son, Er, who had died. It then became Onan’s job to raise a son so that his dead brother would have a firstborn to receive the firstborn blessing of Judah. Onan didn’t want to do this because he would be raising a seed to continue his brother’s house, so YHWH killed him. Then Judah withheld Shelah from Tamar for fear he would die also. There is great depth to this story that I explore in another article called “The Prophetic Nature of Genesis 38.” But we see that Judah was performing what would later become a Torah command before the Torah was given at Mt. Sinai. It was the levirate marriage. Another proof is that YHWH’s teachings existed from the garden.

Understanding the role of the Firstborn as the family’s Kinsman-Redeemer.

Understanding the kinsman-redeemer is essential to understanding what Yahushua Messiah did for the descendants of Adam. The book of Ruth is a picture of how a Kinsman-Redeemer works. To fully explore this concept of Kinsman-Redeemer would be a book in itself. A short, free online book available for download does an excellent job of explaining this. It was written by Ephraim Frank in Israel. The free download is available at israelitereturn.com. The book is “First Born Factor.” Ephraim starts from the beginning of the scriptures and follows scripture, showing the patterns that support these understandings. With all that established, we now have the big picture—YHWH is restoring His Reign on this earth through His chosen entities, who all fell short through sin, as mentioned in the preface. This left the progeny of Adam under the penalty of death when they deliberately sinned. Yahushua Messiah redeemed the righteous descendants of Adam from this part of Adam’s generational curse by living a sinless life and becoming our kinsman redeemer. We still need to be delivered from the knowledge of evil that dwells in us. I explain how and when this will happen in an article named “Generational Curses” that can be downloaded from zadokcalendar.org.

YHWH’s Legal System

Next, I want to discuss the timelines established according to YHWH’s legal system. First, we will examine why Yahushua Messiah came when He did and when He will return in the future.
We will begin by looking at some more rules now.

Malachi 3:6  “I am YHWH, and I do not change.”

Isaiah 55:11  “So is My Word that goes forth from My mouthit does not return to Me empty but shall do what I please and shall certainly accomplish what I sent it for.”

Titus 1:2  in expectation of everlasting life, which Elohim, who does not lie.

James 1:17  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change nor shadow of turning in the Father of lights.

Yahushua Messiah says that He speaks only what His Father in heaven tells Him (John 12:50). So, all the above also applies to what Yahushua Messiah says. I have gone through all this because I want to bring attention to the fact that statements made by YHWH and Yahushua Messiah cannot change, be wrong, or not accomplish what they said they would do. We must take all statements literally and seriously. Not reasoning with statements like, “I believe this means.” The truth is in the literal Word with two to three witnesses to establish a truth (Deuteronomy 19:15), not in your reasoning. So, when the Torah was given to Moshe, all those basic concepts were in place in the beginning in the Garden. Otherwise, He would have changed. This is why we see the Torah commands followed before they were given to Moshe. Paul says the Torah was given to Moshe to define sin because sin was increasing on the earth. Oral transmission was becoming diluted (Romans 5:13-20). This does not mean that He does not change His methods of operation, such as changing the Priests who serve before Him from the firstborn to the Levites. What cannot change, as said, are the basic concepts. Every command in the Torah is related conceptually to one of the Ten Commandments.

In Matthew 15:24 quoted above, Yahushua Messiah said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” At that time, the lost sheep of Israel comprised the bulk of the northern ten tribes, and some of Yahudah was cast into diaspora by the Assyrian assaults. Those assaults began around 733 BC and continued until 722 BC, when Shomeron, the capital city of the northern tribes, fell. The northern ten tribes were known as The House of Israel or Ephrayim (Ephraim / their namesake, because he received the firstborn double-fruit blessing). After the division of the House of Israel and the House of Judah (Yahudah), the northern ten tribes never had a righteous king. After their destruction, they assimilated into the nations and lost their tribal identity. So, they were referred to as the lost sheep of Israel. Judah eventually stated, “We can no longer identify Israel,” so they no longer exist as a nation, set apart to YHWH (they are dead as a people group). Later, Judah would also be destroyed and driven to the ends of the earth, but Judah never entirely lost its identity. There has always been a remnant of Judah following Torah to some degree. Ephrayim (Israelthe northern ten tribes with some of Judah who were led by Ephrayim) was destined to become the fullness or completeness of the nations (Reference Genesis 48:19 and Romans 11:25), as will be seen shortly. Notice that the book of James (Jacob) addresses the 12 tribes in the diaspora. Also, there are only twelve gates into the New Jerusalem, and each one is named for one of the twelve tribes. This should be a wake-up call to who we are. Ephesians 2:11-19 clearly says that those who accept Yahushua as Messiah become a part of the commonwealth of Israel.

Yahushua Messiah told the apostles in Matthew 10:5 when He sent them out, “Do not go into the way of the nations and do not enter the cities of the Shomeronim, but instead go to the lost sheep of Israel, as mentioned above. The people of Shomeron (Samaria) in the time of Yahushua Messiah were mixed with descendants of the people groups the Assyrians had brought there after the destruction of Israel. Those people that Assyria put there began to cry out to the King that they couldn’t live there because the beast was destroying them. They asked the King to send back some of the Israelites who knew the Elohim of the Israelites so that they could appeal to the Elohim of the Israelites for relief from the beast of the fields. He sent some back (2 Kings 17:27).

Notice the woman at the well in John 4:9-12 was a woman from Shomeron (Samaria), yet she referred to Jacob as “our father, Jacob.” She was a descendant of those who were brought back. It is also interesting that this was the first time Yahushua Messiah introduced Himself as the promised Messiah. She was a picture of Israel, having had five husbands and then living with someone who was not her husband. Israel had provoked YHWH by her many Elohims that she went after instead of staying with her first Husband. Also, notice how many times the brides of the patriarchs were found at wells—brides for Isaac, Jacob, and Moses. Was Yahushua introducing Himself to His bride-to-be? It is an interesting thought, considering He said He was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.

In Jeremiah 3:8, Israel was divorced. Yahudah, along with Benjamin and some of Levi, was never divorced. So, the lost sheep need to be remarried. They died as a nation, and Yahushua Messiah died to redeem us all, from Adam to his last descendant, for rejecting the Torah (teachings) and Covenants of Elohim. He took the punishment of Adam. According to the Torah, the death of a mate allows the survivor to remarry. All of Elohim’s covenants were to continue through the Nation of Israel (not just Israel, the northern ten tribes), and are still contingent upon obedience to the Torah of Elohim. Every covenant Elohim made with the descendants of Adam came with their part of the covenant, which begins with the words “IF YOU DO.” After the House of Judah and the House of Israel (the northern tribes) become one again (Read all of Ezekiel Chapter 37), they will be able to fulfill their destiny as a first-born nation, bringing all who come to our Father in Heaven through Yahushua, His Messiah.

The blessings of salvation to the nations

The blessing of salvation was extended to the nations because the “lost sheep” were unidentifiable, and the message had to go to the whole world (all the nations) to reach them. Those of the nations that have accepted Yahushua’s redemption are grafted into the commonwealth of Israel (Reference Romans Chapter 11) and are now a part of the commonwealth of Israel, heirs to the promises (Reference Ephesians 2:11-19 and Galatians 3:27-29). 119Ministries.com has an excellent teaching, “Lost Sheep of Israel.” I will attach an addendum to the end of this article about how Yahushua can raise the seeds of Abraham from stones.

When Will Yahushua Return?

Now, I will take you to something Paul said in Romans 11:25-27 that tells us when Yahushua will come.

Romans 11:25 “for I do not wish you to be ignorant of this secret, brothers, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that hardness (blindness) in part has come on Israel until the completeness of the nations has come in.
Romans 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved, as it has been written, the Deliverer shall come out of Zion, and He shall turn away wickedness from Jacob,
Romans 11:27 and this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.

These last two verses are quotes from Isaiah 59:20-21, which talks about the return of Israel, the lost sheep. In Genesis 48:19, Jacob (i.e., Israel), when blessing Joseph’s children, says Ephrayim will be the fullness of the nations as part of Ephrayim’s blessing, as referenced above. What Paul is saying in Romans 11:25-27 is that Israel has “a blindness” or “a hardening” until Ephrayim comes in. What does it mean to “come in”? Ezekiel Chapter 37, which is parallel with Romans 11:25-27, explains that Israel (the northern Kingdom) of the two houses of all Israel will become a nation again. Then they will be reunited with Judah (the southern Kingdom), and the two nations will become one nation again in the promised land.

Isaiah 51:3 “For YHWH shall comfort Zion. He shall comfort her waste place, for He makes her wilderness like Eden and her desert like the garden of YHWH. Joy and gladness are found in it, gladness and the voice of song.”

Ezekiel 36:35 (speaking of the healing of the land at the time of the re-gathering of Israel): “the desolate land has become like the Garden of Eden; the wasted, destroyed and deserted cities are now fortified and inhabited (Isa. 58:12 and 49:1-9).

To sum up what Paul is saying in Romans 11:25-27, it is when the two houses of Israel begin to come back together and become one nation, then the hardness (blindness), which is in part, shall be removed. There is a second witness to this in Micah 5:2-3.

Micah 5:2 “But you, Beyth Lecḥem Ephrathah (Bethlehem), you who are little among the clans of Yahudah, out of you shall come forth to Me the One to become Ruler in Israel. And His comings are of old, from everlasting.”
Micah 5:3  Therefore, He shall give them up, until the time that she who is in labor has given birth, and the remnant of His brothers return to the children of Israel
Micah 5:4  And He shall stand and shepherd in the strength of YHWH, in the excellency of the Name of YHWH His Elohim. And they shall dwell, for at that time He shall be great, to the ends of the earth.

This is exactly the time Paul talks about it, but Micah provides much more information. I suggest you read Micha to the end for the full context.

Genesis 48:4; Jacob tells Joseph, while blessing him, that he will be “a group of nations,” then in verse 19, he tells Ephrayim that he will be “the fullness of the nations.”

Seven times in Revelation, the end-time remnant people of YHWH are said to have the commands of the Father and the witnesses of the Messiah. Revelation 1:2, 1:9, 12:17, 14:12, 15:3, 19:10, and 20:4. These remnant people are those who have Ephrayim (the leader of the Northern Kingdom) in one hand and Judah (the Southern Kingdom) in the other, as Ezekiel did in Chapter 37, and can bring the two together. They are the healers of the breach (Reference Isaiah 58:12). YHWH has been speaking to me in my Spirit for a long time that we cannot have any condemnation toward anyone, not the Christians or the Jews, or the nations. The book of Jonah shows us something significant. YHWH wants all of Adam to return to Him in repentance. You can have no condemnation for YHWH to use you in these end times to accomplish His work. Only He knows who His remnant people are. We are to be a light to the whole world! Israel is the firstborn nation, meaning it is their job to bring the rest of the descendants of Adam to Him, who will come to Elohim (the Father and His Son).

I want to mention now that many prophecy students have felt there would be another fulfillment of Revelation 12:1-5.

Revelation 12:1 And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clad with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
Revelation 12:2 And being pregnant, she cried out in labor, in pain to give birth.
Revelation 12:3 And see another sign was seen in heaven: a fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns on his heads.
Revelation 12:4 And his tail draws a third of the stars of heaven and throws them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Revelation 12:5 And she bore a male child that was to shepherd all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught away to Elohim and His throne.”

They felt this would happen again because of what is said in Micah 5:2-5 as follows.

Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, you who are small among the clans of Judah, out of you shall come forth to Me, the One to become ruler in Israel (Yahushua Messiah), and His appearances are from old, from everlasting (no one argues this speaks of The Messiah ).
Micha 5:3 Therefore He shall give them up until she who is in labor has given birth (Jerusalem is again inhabited by all of Israel), and the remnant of His brothers return to Israel (the rebirth of Yahushua Messiah’s brothers who have to return to Israel is described in Ezekiel 37).
Micah 5:4 And He shall stand and shepherd in the strength of YHWH, and in the Excellency of the Name of YHWH, His Elohim. And they shall dwell, for at that time, He shall be great to the ends of the earth.” (The Millennial Reign of Yahushua Messiah on earth).

Also, Isaiah 66:7 “Before she labored, she gave birth, before pain came to her, she was delivered of a male child.
Isaiah 66:8 Who has heard the like of this, who has seen the like of these, is a land brought forth in one day, is a nation born at once? For as soon as Zion labored, she gave birth to her child.“

Both of the above speak of Israel’s rebirth just before their return to re-establish His Father’s reign on Earth. Revelation 12 plainly speaks of the birth of Yahushua, but in Micah, He is caught away with the Father before the woman gives birth. Then, after she gives birth, the remnant of His brothers will return to Israel. This is the same time Paul speaks of when Israel will no longer have their eyes blinded and their hearts hardened, as we saw in Romans 11:25-27. In Isaiah 66, we see a second time a woman is giving birth, but here it speaks of the rebirth of a nation in one day, which most consider was fulfilled in 1947 with the UN declaration that Israel and the Palestinians could both be nations in the land. Judah is the tribe that leads the whole house of Israel. When the camp broke to move, Judah went ahead, so it makes sense that they were back in the promised land first. They are leading the reclaiming of the land for all of Israel. In Ezekiel Chapter 37, it says that when Israel (the northern ten tribes, the dry bones) becomes a nation again, then they will be brought back to the land and put on Judah. This is the birth spoken of in Micah 5:3. It is the dry bones in Ezekiel 37 being re-birthed. The lost sheep. Then they return to the land of Israel, and will become one nation in the land, all Israel, no longer two nations. Then Zion will deliver and have her children back. In Isaiah 49, Zion is asking, “What about me”? She is waiting for her children to return to her.

An Interesting Recent Event

First, I want to share a couple of scriptures:

Genesis 1:14 “And Elohim said, ‘Let lights come to be in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night and let them be for signs and appointed times and for days and years.

Luke 21:25: “And there shall be signs in the sun, and moon, …”

As we saw above, the Hebrew word for “appointed times” is moedim, the same word used in Leviticus 23, where it is translated as “feasts,” and YHWH tells Israel what His appointed times (Mikra moedim—festive appointments) are for them. Luke 21:25 speaks of the time just before Yahushua’s return and what to look for to identify the time of His return.

Compare this with Micah 5:2-3 (I am repeating these for comparison purposes and through this comparison to reiterate who is being birthed) as follows:

Micah 5:2 “But you, Beth Lehem (Reference Matt. 2:6 and John 7:42) Ephrathah (the fruitful), you who are little among the clans of Yahudah, out of you shall come forth to Me the One to become Ruler in Israel. And His comings forth are of old, from everlasting.
Micha 5:3 Therefore, He shall give them up until the time that she who is in labor has given birth, and the remnant of His brothers return to the children of Israel.
Micah 5:4. And He shall stand and shepherd in the strength of YHWH, in the excellency of the Name of YHWH His Elohim. And they shall dwell, for at that time He shall be great, to the ends of the earth (Reference Micah 7:14).

It is said here in Micah that the one to become a ruler in Israel will give them up until the time that she, who is in labor, gives birth, and the remnant of His brothers return to the children of Israel. This speaks of a birth, then the return of the remnant of His brothers. Who are Yahushua’s brothers?

Hebrews 2:11  For both He who sets apart and those who are being set apart are all of One, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brothers.

It is the righteous seed of Elohim! They are rebirthed (born again) when they receive Yahushua Messiah as our Kinsman Redeemer and follow in obedience.

But these righteous descendants of Israel have been ignorant of their identity as the lost sheep of Israel.
They have also been ignorant of the fact that Israel is returning to the promised land. They have been the dry bones of Ezekiel Chapter 37.

A Great Sign in Heaven: A Recent Event

In 2011, on the calendar that Judaism keeps now, Yom Teruah (feast of trumpets, called Rosh Hashanah by Judah), the woman (Virgo—in Hebrew Bethula meaning “virgin”), clad with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars appeared for the first time since September 11th, 3 BC on Yom Teruah, because of her appearance in 3 BC that is the date considered when Yahushua was born. There was a comet that passed Jerusalem on that date. Then, nine days later, on Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement), Draco, the dragon constellation, spewed 7000 meteors on the eastern hemisphere in seven hours. Draco sits close to the North Pole and is shaped like an “S.” So, when the night proceeds, the Earth’s spinning makes Draco appear to be spinning. This would fit perfectly with the dragon using his tail to throw a third of the stars to the earth. Another factor that makes this even more significant is that, at that time, a comet named Elenin was passing Earth. Everyone was tracking the comet because it was passing so close to Earth. Then the woman, Virgo, appeared on the first day of Sukkot. On that day, the comet Elenin was sitting directly above her head like a tiara on her crown of twelve stars. It seems YHWH was drawing our attention to this event. In some communities, this was well known, but for the more significant part, no one noticed. I believe this sign could very well refer to the rebirth of the end-time remnant of Yahushua’s brothers and the beginning of an awakening that will ultimately bring them back to the land promised to Abraham. There, it is rejoined with Judah (In Ezekiel 37, for “the two sticks,”the Hebrew word is etzim—trees). The first birth was Yahushua, the head mentioned in Revelation 12, and the second witness is in Micah 5:2-3, the body of the Messiah. The body consists of those who keep the commands of the Father and have the witness of Yahushua, who return to the promised land.

Why Did Yahushua Come When He Did, and When Can He Return?

To draw this event into the whole scheme of things, I need to explain a sequence of events established in scripture. This will show why Yahushua came when He did and when He can return.

Read Ezekiel Chapter 4. In 4:1-3, Ezekiel is told to set himself against Jerusalem to destroy it and to inscribe it on a clay tablet… but then he is told to place an iron plate between him and Jerusalem. This would represent a time of protection against destruction.

Ephrayim (i.e., Israel, the northern ten tribes) was given time to repent and return to YHWH. In Ezekiel 4, Ezekiel was told to lie on his side for 390 days, one day for each year, and to bear the crookedness of the house of Israel. In Leviticus 26, YHWH says that when He warns you, if you don’t repent after your allotted time concludes, it will be seven times longer. Israel did not repent, so the total punishment became 2730 years. That punishment began in 722 BC (this date is debated, so that it could be a few years either way) when Israel was totally banished from the promised land (Reference Wikipedia: Assyrian captivity of Israel). Either way, the punishment was carried out between 2008 and 2011. Many consider that Yahushua Messiah could not return for His people until the punishment was up, or it would have broken scripture. This explains why He came when He did. If He had not come, then two billion+ Christians, who now have a bible in their hands, would probably be worshiping Zeus, Mithras, Osiris, or some pagan false Elohim instead of YHWH. By understanding the punishment, we can better understand the significance of the woman’s appearance in the heavens. After the time of punishment was up, YHWH and His son Yahushua Messiah would look at Israel to see if there was repentance. If so, then the awakening and re-gathering could begin.

There was a time of protection for the Southern kingdom, Judah, and a time to repent as well. It was 40 years. I have not seen any sensible explanation for when that 40-year period was in the Jewish commentaries. If we go back to what Ezekiel was told in Chapter 4, to set himself against Jerusalem and destroy it, we can see where that 40-year period was. Jerusalem was utterly destroyed 40 years after the crucifixion of Yahushua. They were given 40 years to repent, and they did not, so after 40 years, the protection was removed, and Jerusalem was destroyed.

Now, I’ll ask you to take a break and read Ezekiel 37, as mentioned above. Keep it open as you begin to read again. It is too lengthy to print here.

As stated above, Ezekiel 37 shows that Ephrayim and Judah (the two houses of Israel) must unite and become one nation again. Still, first, Ephrayim (who was divorced in Jeremiah 3:8) needs to be reborn or become a new creation through Yahushua. A nation that had died and become dry bones with no expectancy to ever live again becomes a Nation again. Ephrayim (i.e., the House of Israel, which is still a separate nation from Judah) needs to become a new creation and return to a marriage-type covenant relationship with Yahushua. Note, in Ezekiel 37, after he prophesied to the dry bones and they stood, they received the Spirit and became a very great army. Verse 11 says these are all the House of Israel. YHWH says He will at that time gather Israel from among the nations and bring them back into the land to become one nation again in the land of their fathers. Next, Ezekiel is told to take a stick for Joseph (under Ephrayim/the northern ten tribes) and a stick for Judah and bring them together; the two become one nation in his hand (in Ezekiel 37:21). This re-gathering (Isaiah 11:11-12) follows the coming of Gog, Prince of Magog (Ezekiel 39:25), also called in Revelation “the battle of Har Maggido” (Armageddon Revelation 16:16-21), which is not fought by men but by YHWH (for details, see the article “The Day and The Hour.”)

The Two Houses of Israel must become one again before they can fulfill their destiny.

Most will wonder why the two houses of Israel must be reunited. The answer goes back to understanding the firstborn’s order (Exodus 4:22). The purpose of those chosen to rule on this earth is for YHWH. I will again mention that Abraham was chosen to be the father of a people chosen to be YHWH’s firstborn nation. To be priests, sovereigns, and judges to the nations of the world with His Son as their High Priest, Sovereign, and Judge, the Melchizedek. Israel is to be His servants to the world, bringing all unto our Heavenly Father through Yahushua by taking Torah to the nations. Before that could happen, the law of sin and death had to be dealt with (Romans 8:2). All the seeds of Adam needed to be redeemed from the kingdom of darkness. Even though, through the blood offerings, sins were forgiven and atoned for according to Torah. Those sins still on our list have held the righteous seed of Adam captive unto death. The blood and water that flowed from the side of Yahushua Messiah onto the tree that He was nailed to had the life eternal of the Father in it. The Spirit is the light of the Father and the Son (Romans 8:9-11), and the light is eternal life, and the life is in the blood (Leviticus 7:14). Just before the breath of life left Him, His Father left His presence. Because He (The Father) couldn’t be in the presence of a dead body (the grandfather of all uncleanliness). Yahushua Messiah was left with the life of Adam, which carried in it all the sins of the seed of Adam (all of humanity). But the eternal life, which was in His blood, was not corrupted like Adam’s was, because Yahushua was sinless. This is what satan didn’t count on. When Yahushua Messiah descended to Sheol, since He was sinless, Sheol could not hold Him. The light of the life of YHWH that was in Him overcame the darkness, enabling Him to take captivity captive and bring all humanity (1st John 2:2, and 4:14) out of the kingdom of darkness (eternal separation from YHWH), leaving satan’s house a wreck (Hebrews 2:14-18).
An important thing to remember is as follows.

1st John 4:17 By this love has been perfected with us, so that we might have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He is, so are we in this world.

Yahushua came in the flesh to save the whole world that would choose Him as their Redeemer (Luke 9:56, 19:10, and John 12:27, 12:47). We are, as He was, here to save the world, not judge it, as said earlier. There is one judge of this world, Yahushua Messiah, as was given to Him by His and our Father in Heaven. Until He returns to bring the righteous seed of Adam back to our inheritance, the whole land promised to Abraham, we are to be a light in this world so that the world will look on us and want to have the shalom that we have (Matthew 13:43 and Daniel 12:1). This cannot happen if we are in fear. We have to have the belief of Abraham, that is, YHWH is in 100% control of His creation 100% of the time. It is not up to us to make things happen, but to be still and allow Him to lead our every step. When we live this way, we will be filled with a great peace that shines forth for the whole world to see. It is very important to read His promises to us in these latter days to help us gain the confidence we need to maintain our belief.

One-Two-One Principle

Adam was one. A rib was taken from his side (the blood is created in the marrow of the bone, so the eternal life blood was in that bone), and Eve was created from that bone. Adam, who was one, then became two with the creation of Eve. Then, as man and wife, the two again became one through their offspring. We were one with Yahushua Messiah before the sin. The blood and water that came from Yahushua Messiah’s side, signifying a birth (like the rib that came from Adam’s side), contained eternal life. Through that blood came a new creation (like Eve, the bride). When Yahushua Messiah returns, that new creation (anyone who has received Yahushua Messiah as their Kinsman-Redeemer and follows Him in obedience) will join Him and become one with Him (as Adam and Eve did when they became husband and wife). Then we will be able to do what Adam was supposed to do in the beginning—reproduce—by taking the Torah to the nations (bringing one new child at a time). At this time, Israel will fulfill its destiny as a firstborn nation.

Israel was one nation chosen by YHWH to be His Firstborn Nation (Exodus 4:22-23). Through Solomon’s sins, one nation became two. The House of Israel (the northern ten tribes, sometimes referred to as Ephrayim) and the southern nation known as the House of Judah, the Jews, which includes Benyamin (Benjamin) and some of Levi. Because of the continued sin of the House of Israel (the northern tribes), it was destroyed, divorced (Reference Jeremiah 3:8), and assimilated into the nations. They lost their identity and then ceased to be a nation before YHWH. Through the process described above, the acceptance of Yahushua Messiah created a New House of Israel (the northern ten tribes, i.e., Ephrayim). When a person accepts Yahushua as their Kinsman-Redeemer, they receive the seed, which is the Spirit of YHWH, the Father of lights (1st John 3:4-10). This seed is passed to us through Yahushua Messiah. We are grafted back into the Tree (Romans Chapter 11). But for Judah (the natural branches) to become one with Yahushua Messiah, they must first be grafted back into the root and the trunk (Yahushua). Then, they will become one again with the House of Israel (Ezekiel Chapter 37). Yahushua Messiah is returning for all of Israel (both Houses). The House of Judah (as bad as it became) was never divorced, unlike the House of Israel (the northern ten tribes). They never lost their identity, unlike the House of Israel. But the House of Judah also needs to be redeemed from the law of sin and death that came in by the sin of the first Adam. They must accept Yahushua Messiah as their Kinsman-Redeemer to receive redemption and continued intercession (be grafted back into the Olive Tree).  Paul said this would happen when Ephrayim returns to the land of Israel (Romans 11:25-27), just as Micah predicted in 5:2 and explained in Ezekiel 37. I am saying again to read Ephesians 2:11-19 for an understanding of who Israel is through Yahushua Messiah. When you accept Yahushua and follow through by being immersed, then you become part of the commonwealth of Israel.

Gentile? What Does It Really Mean?

Gentile is not a Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic word. It is not a word in any of the languages in which the scriptures, from Genesis 1:1 to the end of Revelation, were written. It is a Latin word that Jerome used when translating the Bible. Latin became a dead language, hopefully preserving its meanings from evolving over time as languages do. That did not work, as we will see below. The definition of the word Gentile changed in the 14th century.

Here is the definition of the word with its etymology, “one who is not a Jew,” c. 1400; earlier “one who is not a Christian, a pagan” (late-14th century), from Late Latin noun use of Latin gentilis “of the same family or clan, of or belonging to a Roman gens,” from gens (genitive gentis) “race, clan,” from PIE root *gene- “give birth, beget,” with derivatives referring to procreation and familial and tribal groups. Compare “gentle.”

The Latin adjective also meant “of or belonging to the same nation,” hence, as a noun, gentiles (plural) would mean “men of family; persons belonging to the same family; fellow countrymen, kinsmen,” but also “foreigners, barbarians” (as opposed to Romans), those bound only by the Jus Gentium, the “law of nations,” defined as “the law that natural reason establishes among all mankind and is followed by all peoples alike.”

When Jerome translated the word “nations” as “gentile,” it was a perfect translation, but the meaning evolved into something opposite to its original meaning. It basically meant the lost sheep of Israel, which would naturally include those who joined in.

Interestingly, this non-Hebrew, Greek, or Aramaic word has permeated our translations and usurped the opposite of its original meaning. This opposite meaning has caused Christianity to stumble because they, according to the wrong meaning, assume that they are not a part of Israel but something different. Then, they use Acts Chapter 15 (known as the Jerusalem Council) to say that they do not have to do anything except abstain from the four things mentioned as minimum requirements to be in the Commonwealth of Israel. These four requirements were not made up by the council in Jerusalem but were taken from Ezekiel 33:23-27. They searched the scriptures for the minimum requirements to dwell in the commonwealth of Israel and found them in Ezekiel Chapter 33. Next, they said as follows.

Acts 15:13  And after they were silent, Yaaqob  answered, saying, “Men, brothers, listen to me (Jacob-Yaaqob is James’s real name; James was inserted because King James wanted his name in the bible):
Acts 15:14  “Shimon has declared how Elohim first visited the nations to take out of them a people for His Name.
Acts 15:15  “And the words of the prophets agree with this, as it has been written:
Acts 15:16  ‘After this I shall return and rebuild the Booth of David which has fallen. And I shall rebuild its ruins, and I shall set it up,
Acts 15:17  So that the remnant of mankind shall seek YHWH, even all the nations on whom My Name has been called, says YHWH who is doing all this,’
Acts 15:18  who has made this known from of old (Amos 9:11-12).
Acts 15:19  “Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the nations who are turning to Elohim,
Acts 15:20  but that we write to them to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is strangled, and from blood. (References; Exodus 22:20, Leviticus 17:7, Deuteronomy 32:17, & 32:21, I Corinthians 10:14, &10:20-21. Numbers 25:1-3, Genesis 9:4, Ezekiel 33:25 (Strangled – One way of eating meat with blood), Proverbs 21:25.
Acts 15:21  “For from ancient generations Moses has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath.”

Notice here that the last thing said was that they have Moses being proclaimed in every city. These newcomers from the nations would have to keep these minimum commands to be in the commonwealth of Israel, and then they could learn YHWH’s Torah (Torah means teachings) to learn what sin is and how to keep clean from the abominations of the flesh. The apostles did not establish this rule about the things that must be followed to be part of the nation of Israel and to re-inhabit the land someday; they, as said above, got this from Ezekiel 33:23-26, which establishes the minimum requirements for being re-established in the promised land.

There is only one chosen people group in all scriptures, and that group is Israel. Ephesians 2:11-19 clearly says that you become part of that commonwealth by accepting Yahushua. Then, Galatians 3:27-29 clearly tells us that there is no difference in anyone who receives Yahushua as follows.

Galatians 3:27  For as many of you as were immersed into Messiah have put on Messiah.
Galatians 3:28  There is no Yehudi (Jews) nor Greek, there is not slave nor free, there is not male and female, for you are all one in Messiah Yahushua.
Galatians 3:29  And if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Abraham, and heirs according to promise.

Notice the statement “for you are all one in Messiah Yahushua… and heirs according to promise.” There is one chosen people, the seed of Abraham through Jacob (Israel), who are the heirs according to promises. YHWH will regather all of Israel and bring them back to the land of promise that will again be made like the garden of Eden (Reference Isaiah 51:3 and Ezekiel 36:35) and Rule and Reign with them all over the whole world for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4). Every promise to Abraham was contingent upon his obedience.
So, you cannot be heirs to the promises without obedience to His Commands.

Lawlessness will not inherit the Kingdom. Anyone who says that YHWH has two chosen people is creating a division. Dividing YHWH’s people is what satan has been doing from the beginning. The six things YHWH hates and the seven abominations in Proverbs Chapter 16:

Proverbs 6:16  These six matters YHWH hates, And seven are an abomination to Him:
Proverbs 6:17  A proud look, A lying tongue, and hands shedding innocent blood,
Proverbs 6:18  A heart devising wicked schemes, Feet quick to run to evil,
Proverbs 6:19  A false witness breathing out lies, and one who causes strife among brothers.

Notice that the first five consume the whole body, and the last two are false witnesses who divide the brothers. If you are making two chosen peoples and two different salvations, you fit perfectly the six matters YHWH hates and the seven that are an abomination.

Heaven comes to earth, and the righteous inherit it forever (Proverbs 2:21-22 and Psalms 37:11,22,29,34 and Matthew 5:5). In each of these cases, the evil is removed from the earth, and the righteous inherit it and live in it forever.

Luke 17:1  And He said to the taught ones, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks should come, but woe to him through whom they come!
Luke 17:2  “It would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

In Matthew 13:41, these stumbling blocks are those who do lawlessness. They are gathered by Yahushua’s angels and thrown into the fire. Another example is in Luke 17, as follows.

Luke 17:33  “Whoever seeks to save his life shall lose it, and whoever loses his life shall preserve it.
Luke 17:34  “I say to you, in that night there shall be two in one bed, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Luke 17:35  “Two women shall be grinding together, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Luke 17:36  “Two shall be in the field, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.”
Luke 17:37  And they answering, said to Him, “Where, Master?” And He said to them, “Where the body is, there also the vultures shall be gathered together.”

Where can you fit a righteous group leaving the earth at any time? The earth is the inheritance of the righteous, who will live in it forever.
Another example of what will befall the righteous and the unrighteous is in Zechariah Chapter 13, as follows:

Zecheriah 13:8  And it shall be throughout all the soil,” declares YHWH, “that two-thirds therein are cut off and die, and one-third is left therein.
Zecheriah 13:9  “And I shall bring the third into fire, and refine them as silver is refined, and try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My Name, and I shall answer them. I shall say, ‘This is My people,’ while they say, ‘YHWH is my Elohim’“ (Zephaniah 3:9).

The rapture theory is actually the opposite of what is really going to happen, unless you consider the evil being removed from the earth a rapture. There is a resurrection in the general timeline of the Book of Zechariah. There are two resurrections preceding Yahushua’s return to set up His Kingdom for the Thousand-Year Reign. The first is in Daniel 12:2, and the second is in Isaiah 26:19. I discuss all this in detail in the article “The Day and Hour.”

Here are the two places we can see resurrections.

Daniel 12:1  “Now at that time Mikael shall stand up, the great head who is standing over the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of distress, such as never was since there was a nation until that time. And at that time, your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book,
Daniel 12:2  and many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth wake up, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches, everlasting abhorrence.
Daniel 12:3  “And those who have insight shall shine like the brightness of the expanse, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

These are obviously resurrected to make a decision.

Isaiah 26:19  Let Your dead live, together with my dead body, let them arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; for Your dew is a dew of light, and let the earth give birth to the departed spirits.

The dew and light of the righteous who are in the grave are like His dew and His light. Dew rises to the clouds. The righteous deeds of the living saints are His cloud of witnesses; their dew rises to the clouds also. When there is enough dew, it becomes water and falls to the earth. Notice the next verses.

Isaiah 26:20  Go, my people, enter your rooms, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little while, until the displeasure is passed.
Isaiah 26:21  For look, YHWH is coming out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their crookedness. And the earth shall disclose her blood and no longer cover her killed ones (blood was the first plague on Egypt).

This resurrection occurs immediately before Yahushua comes to punish the nations and those who took the mark. The people in this resurrection have already made the correct decisions in their lives. To understand what is happening, you must know the chronological order of end-time events. That is what the article “The Day and Hour,” mentioned above, is all about.

Regathering all Israel from the ends of the earth and returning them to the land promised to Abraham.

We all know why Yahushua is coming to the earth, as Isaiah 26:21 makes clear.
It is the beginning of His wrath on the nations to make them let His chosen return to the land of Israel, as said above. This second exodus is told by Jeremiah in 16:14-15 as follows.

Jeremiah 16:14  “Therefore, see, the days are coming,” declares YHWH, “when it is no longer said, ‘as YHWH lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Mitsrayim (Egypt),’
Jeremiah 16:15  “but ‘YHWH lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ For I shall bring them back into their land, I gave to their fathers.”

A second witness is in Jeremiah 23:5-8 as follows.

Jeremiah 23:5  “See, the days are coming,” declares YHWH, “when I shall raise for David a Branch of righteousness, and a Sovereign shall reign and act wisely, and shall do right ruling and righteousness in the earth.
Jeremiah 23:6  “In His days Yahudah shall be saved, and Israel dwell safely. And this is His Name whereby He shall be called: ‘YHWH our Righteousness.’
Jeremiah 23:7  “Therefore, see, the days are coming,” declares YHWH, “when they shall say no more, ‘As YHWH lives who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Mitsrayim,’
Jeremiah 23:8  “but, ‘As YHWH lives who brought up and led the seed of the house of Israel out of the land of the north and from all the lands where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell on their own soil.”

Notice in Isaiah 26:21 that the blood of the killed ones is going to be revealed. This is exactly the same as the first plague on Egypt ( Mitsrayim), which is further evidence that this is a replay of the first exodus. Also, the waters are turned to blood by the star Wormwood falling into the Ocean.

Almost every Prophet speaks of the regathering of Israel, particularly in Isaiah Chapters 43-66. The church reckons that they are not obligated to follow the Torah because they are gentiles, and they have a different salvation. We can see from the true meaning of “gentile” that these are people of the same family. Yahushua said in Matthew 15:24, and Matthew 10:6 reinforced it, that He was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel (family). The idea that being a gentile makes them a separate people from Israel, who are YHWH’s only chosen people, causes division in YHWH’s family. The whole of the restoration is to bring the families of YHWH back together. It is satan who divides YHWH’s family. If they were going to leave this earth, they would be wicked and unrighteous, according to the definitions in Proverbs Chapter 2 and Psalms Chapter 37. They are not; they just have not been awakened to their true identity. YHWH says in Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39 (which is the Gog event) that He has brought this war on so that the whole world will at that time know who He is, and Israel will know who He is. At the same time, it can be seen that the House of Israel (the northern ten tribes, known as the lost sheep), as described in Ezekiel Chapter 37, is standing up and recognizing its true identity. Immediately after this event, Esaw, Edom surrounds Jerusalem, and Avinu pours out a Spirit of prayers and supplication on Yahudah, and they see the One they pierced (Zechariah 12:10-14). At this same time, in Chapter 37, Ezekiel is told to prophecy to the Spirit to come into these people, and it does. In Joel 2:20, Gog is defeated, and in 2:28-29, He pours out His Spirit on all flesh. All these events occur just before the Day of YHWH, which begins at Shavuot.

The above is a brief summary of events that I placed here to show what the Prophets and Revelation really say about what is coming. Once again, I mention the study that goes into great detail on determining the end-time events leading up to The Day and Hour of Yahushua’s return.

Correcting the Split-Firstborn Blessing That Jacob Caused

Another factor affecting all this is that when Jacob (i.e., Israel) blessed his sons before dying, he gave the double-fruit or firstborn blessing to Ephrayim (the priestly blessing) and the scepter and judge to Judah. Judah was the rightful recipient of both, but Jacob (Israel) loved Joseph so much that he adopted Ephrayim and Manasseh (Joseph’s two sons born to him in Egypt) in place of Reuben and Simeon (his actual first and second born). When Israel did this, he split the firstborn blessing. He gave Ephrayim the double-fruit blessings or wealth (the priestly side) and Judah the scepter (the kingship and to be the judge). For all Israel to be a nation of priests, sovereigns, and judges to the nations, the two houses must come back together. The two must be reunited and become one nation again (see Ezekiel 37 again). With the priestly side (double fruit—the extra portion) back and the scepter side (kingship and judge) together, there will be an extra portion for redeeming the nations.

As I mentioned earlier, when the House of Israel (Ephrayim, the ten tribes) comes back together with the House of Judah, is when Ephrayim sees YHWH’s Torah, and Judah sees Yahushua as Messiah. Then, they will be one nation again. Then, they will be ready to fulfill their destiny. Yahushua Messiah will return for us. He will begin His thousand-year Reign on Earth, being our King and High Priest (intercessor) according to the order of Melechitsedeq of YHWH, His and our Father in Heaven. The righteous remnant will be YHWH’s chosen tool to take Torah to the nations (as Priests, Sovereigns, and Judges) to bring all the seed of Adam who will follow our Heavenly Father and His Son in belief and obedience.

The Sequence of These Events

If the punishment were up in the time period of 2008-2011 or a few years either way, then YHWH The Father and Yahushua Messiah would naturally be looking for repentance. That repentance would be witnessed by a return to YHWH’s Torah by Israel, the lost sheep (Deuteronomy Chapter 30). I might say at this time that John came to make straight the way for Yahushua’s first coming. Yahushua said John was in the spirit of Elijah. The witnesses of both John and Elijah were the same: leave apostate worship and return to the Words of YHWH (the first five books of Scripture, known as instructions for life, also called The Torah). Elijah asks the people of Israel, “How long will you hop between two persuasions?” It is either YHWH or Baal. John said to quit apostatizing the true worship of YHWH with your traditions of men that cause you to violate the Torah. Then we see Yahushua Messiah speaking that exact same message. So, we know the message of Yahushua Messiah while He was here on Earth in the flesh, which was the same as John’s and Elijah’s. These are the three witnesses required in the Torah to establish a matter. It is the same message all the prophets have given. The end-time Elijah to come should have the same message. Remember, seven times in Revelation, the end-time remnant people are those who have the witness of Yahushua Messiah and the Commands of the Father (YHWH’s Torah).

A strong witness to what will be the theology of the end-time anti-Christ is found in the Greek word used in 2nd Thessalonians 2:8, referring to this man as “the lawless one.” The most used Greek word for “lawless” is anomia, but in this case, the word is anomos. Anomia means “against or devoid of any law,” but anomos means specifically, “against or devoid of the law of Moses, i.e., YHWH’s Torah.” It can be seen that the message of the end-time anti-Messiah will be the opposite of that of Elijah.

I mentioned in my introduction that YHWH said through Isaiah 46:10 and 48:3: “He declared the end from the beginning.” The order of what is to come can be seen through the seven days of creation. This is a lengthy study. It is designed to show that we can know the day and hour of Yahushua’s next coming. Read 1st Thessalonians 5:1-10, which tells us we are to know the Day of YHWH! To know it says we, as children of the light, are to stay awake and watch and not get drunk (feed ourselves on delusions to believe the lie, 2nd Thessalonians 2:11). Once again, I will point you to “The Day and Hour” article. A second witness that tells the readers they should know is the letter to the assembly of Sardis. In that letter, it is stated that the consequence for their works not being incomplete before Elohim is that He, Yahushua Messiah, will come on them as a thief in the night, and they will not know the hour of His coming (Revelation 3:1-3.) These are the things that I go into great detail on in the article “The Day and Hour.”

Shalom, Shalom

Addendum to the Reign of Elohim

This addendum contains information that I have found since I wrote this article several years ago. This information provides a clearer picture and helps connect the puzzle pieces. This information is to help see why YHWH created mortal humans and how they play into the complete restoration of His reign in the heavens and on the earth. I recommend that you read the article I wrote on Job before continuing. It explains what YHWH deems a perfect (blameless) and upright man to be. It shows how satan (the adversary) works and that he can only work within the bounds YHWH sets. It is also about how satan worked then and how he works now. Understanding these things according to scripture will enable you to better understand the following. Also, there is a book full of information and additional documentation for my presentation. It is The Unseen Realm by Dr. Michael S. Heiser. After reading this book, you will be familiar with what I present, making it much easier to understand. Heiser’s scholarship and research are the best, even though I disagree with his Christian rapture theology, and the theology of “the law is done away with by Yahushua’s death, burial, and resurrection.”

I became aware of a difference in Deuteronomy 32:8, between the Masoretic text (what most of our modern translations of the Tanak, Old Testament, are based on, finalized between the 7th and 10th centuries CE) and the Septuagint, as well as many of the manuscripts found at Qumran, known as the Dead Sea Scrolls. Most translations will agree with the Masoretic Jewish translation. The King James Version agrees with all the Jewish translations, that I have checked.

Deuteronomy 32:7-9 is translated from the Jewish Publication Society (JPS) translation into English.

Deuteronomy 32:7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations; ask thy father, and he will declare unto thee, thine elders, and they will tell thee.
Deuteronomy 32:8 When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the children of men, He set the borders of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel.
Deuteronomy 32:9 For the portion of the YHWH is His people, Jacob, the lot of His inheritance. (This mention of YHWH has to be Yahushua coming in the Name of His Father because Eloah [His Father] has just proved that the whole earth is His.)

Here it is in the ISR Scriptures, the version I use mostly.

Deuteronomy 32:8  When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel.
Deuteronomy 32:9  For the portion of His people, Yaaqob (Jacob, the equivalent of all Israel), is His allotted inheritance.

Here is the King James translation.

Deuteronomy 32:8  When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
Deuteronomy 32:9  For YHWH’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

Each of these is translated as “the children of Israel” at the end of verse 8.

Now I’m going to show it in the Septuagint, using Thayer’s concordance numbers so that you can look up the individual words. The Septuagint is the earliest known translation into another language and the oldest complete translation of the Torah, dating to the third century BCE. There have been fragments of the Torah found at Qumran, that would date to about the same time BCE and are in Hebrew and Aramaic.

At the end of verse eight are two words: G32 angelos (angels), G2316 Theos (of Elohim, our Father in Heaven).
It says “Angels of Elohim” instead of “children of Israel.” This is interesting because most all of the fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls of verse 8 also say “Sons of Elohim” (angels), which agrees with the Septuagint. The Sons of Elohim are mentioned six times in the Tanak (the “Old Testament,” a misnomer because it is not a testament at all), and in each case they refer to the Angels of Elohim.

Hoseah 1:9  then He said, “Call his name Lo-Ammi, for you are not My people, and I am not for you.
Hoseah 1:10  Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which is neither measured nor counted. And it shall be in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ they shall be called, ‘You are the sons of the living El.’”

This mention is of men, not Angels. Hosea is referring to the regathered Israel in the land. Keep this in mind. Also, keep in mind that He says that their number is as the sand of the sea.

Just from the evidence for Deuteronomy 32:8-9, the Sons of Elohim variant is the most well-attested, represented by the widest array of independent manuscript traditions.

In Deuteronomy 32:8-9, the Hebrew phrase “to the number” appears in two other places in the Tanak: Joshua 4:5-8 and Judges 21:23. In both instances, it indicates an equivalent number. The seventh instance of “sons of the living El” refers to the regathered Israel. When the nations were divided at the tower of Babel, the number of angels was equal to the number of people, according to the other two uses of the same phrase. This phrase is used in the Tanak (Old Testament).

Knowing that the re-gathered Israel would become the Sons of Elohim may be why the Masoretic translators used “the Sons of Israel,” but at the time the nations were divided (the Tower of Babel), there was no nation of Israel, and they were not listed in the Table of Nations either.

In Psalms 82, there are multiple Elohim. It could be used to support the idea of a pantheon of Elohim (Gods) because of the common translation of Elohim as God. Changing “the Sons of Elohim” to “Sons of Israel” in Deuteronomy 32:8 could be a way to justify the view that the Elohim in Psalms 82 were the human judges of Israel, which is what modern Judaism holds. They also say that the sons of Elohim in Genesis Chapter 6 are not angels but sons of Seth, Adam and Eve’s third son. If you are a believer of the Brit Hadasha (New Testament, once again, it is not a testament at all), then you cannot say Genesis Chapter 6 is men; you will be contradicting what is said in Jude 1-6 and 2nd Peter 2:4. Look at bible verses about angles at biblestudytools.com (The Top Bible Verses about Fallen Angles).
Here is all of Psalm 82.

Psalms 82:1  Elohim stands in the congregation of El; He judges in the midst of the elohim.
Psalms 82:2  How long would you judge perversely? And show partiality to the wrong? Selah.
Psalms 82:3  Give right-ruling to the poor and fatherless, Do right to the afflicted and needy.
Psalms 82:4  Rescue the poor and needy; Deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
Psalms 82:5  They do not know, nor do they understand. They walk about in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
Psalms 82:6  I, I said, “You are elohim, and all of you are sons of the Most High.
Psalms 82:7  “But as men you die and fall as one of the heads.”
Psalms 82:8  Arise, O Elohim, judge the earth, For You shall possess all the nations.

If these Elohim were just men, the judges of Israel, why would YHWH say, “But as men, you die”?

There are several things to consider here, but for now, I want to bring up some other points, and then I will return to Psalms 82.

YHWH made promises to Abraham in Genesis 22:15-18 and 26:4-5 that His seed would become as numerous as the stars and the sand of the sea when the statement is seen “as numerous as,” an uncountable number is insinuated. However, in Joshua 4:5-8 and Judges 21:23, the statement “to the number of” indicated an equal number.

Genesis 22:15  And the Messenger of YHWH called to Abraham a second time from the heavens,
Genesis 22:16  and said, “By Myself, I have sworn, declares YHWH, because you have done this, and have not withheld your son, your only son,
Genesis 22:17  that I shall certainly bless you, and I shall certainly increase your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore, and let your seed possess the gate of their enemies.
Genesis 22:18  “And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

In verse 17, there is a connection to Hosea 1:10, and it is the sand of the sea. In Hosea 1:10, it says the number of the children of Israel is as the sand of the sea, indicating the children are the same number. Now, in verse 17, the sand of the sea and the stars are both compared to the number of Abraham’s seed. Many times, the stars and heavenly hosts represent angels.

The story of our redemption is in the constellations and in order. I will attach a short article by Kerry Alexander on how the constellations tell the redemption story at the end of this.

So, is the number of Abraham’s descendants going to be the same as the number of stars in the heavens? I am exploring this question in the following.

Genesis 26:4  And I shall increase your seed like the stars of the heavens, and I shall give all these lands to your seed. And in your seed, all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,
Genesis 26:5  because Abraham obeyed My voice and guarded My Charge: My commands, My laws, and My Torot” (Torot:plural of Torah, teaching.)

Deuteronomy 10:22  Your fathers went down to Mitsrayim with seventy beings, and now YHWH your Elohim has made you as numerous as the stars of Heavens.

Through the Word of YHWH, I will propose that the number of Abraham’s seed is the same as the sand of the seashore and the stars of the heavens, which refers to angels in multiple places. Then, it can be seen how this works in restoring all things. This would make sense, since the nations created at the division of the nations (Tower of Babel) indicate that the number of angels equals the number of people.

Now, I will show some interesting numbers.

In Zechariah 13:8-9, only one-third of Israel is left when YHWH refines His people.

Zechariah 13:8  “And it shall be throughout all the soil,” declares YHWH, “that two-thirds therein are cut off and die, and one-third is left therein.
Zechariah 13:9  “And I shall bring the third into fire, and refine them as silver is refined, and try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My Name, and I shall answer them. I shall say, ‘This is My people,’ while they say, ‘YHWH I is my Elohim.’”

What is interesting is that YHWH lost one-third of His Malakim (Messengers, Angels) in satan’s rebellions (Reference Revelation 12:4). Keep this in mind.

The gematria, or numerical value, of the Hebrew phrase “Bnei ha Elohim” in Deuteronomy 32:8 is 153.

In John 21:11, Peter and the other Apostles caught 153 large fish.

John 21:3  Shimon Kepha said to them, “I am going to fish.” They said to him, “We are also coming with you.” They went out and immediately entered the boat. And that night, they caught none at all.
John 21:4  But when it became early morning, Yahushua stood on the beach. However, the taught ones did not know that it was Yahushua.
John 21:5  Then Yahushua said to them, “Children, have you any food?” They answered Him, “No.”
John 21:6  And He said to them, “Throw the net on the right side of the boat, and you shall find.” So they threw, and they were no longer able to draw it in because of the large number of fish.
John 21:7  That taught one whom Yahushua loved then said to Kepha, “It is the Master!” Then Shimon Kepha, hearing that it was the Master, put on his outer garment—for he was stripped—and plunged into the sea.
John 21:8  And the other taught ones came in the little boat—for they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits—dragging the net with fish.
John 21:9  So when they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread.
John 21:10  Yahushua said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have now caught.”
John 21:11  Shimon Kepha went up and dragged the net to land, filled with one hundred and fifty-three big fish. And though there were so many, the net was not broken.
John 21:12  Yahushua said to them, “Come, have breakfast.” And not one of the taught ones dared to ask Him, “Who are You?” knowing that it was the Master.
John 21:13  Yahushua came and took the bread and gave it to them, and the same with the fish.
John 21:14  This was now the third time Yahushua was manifested to His taught ones after He was raised from the dead.

Notice there are 153 big fish, and this is the third time Yahushua was manifested to them after He was raised from the dead. How is a third related to the 153, and is it also related to three appearances?

Now I will show another 153, with three appearances (2nd Kings 1:1-17)

2nd Kings 1:1  And Moab revolted against Yisrael after the death of Ahab.
2nd Kings 1:2  And Ahazyah fell through the lattice of his upper room in Shomeron, and was injured, and sent messengers and said to them, “Go, inquire of Ba‛al-Zebub, the mighty one of Eqron, if I shall recover from this injury.”
2nd Kings 1:3  But a messenger of YHWHspoke to Eliyah the Tishbite, “Rise up, go up to meet the messengers of the sovereign of Shomeron, and say to them, ‘Is it because there is no Elohim in Yisrael that you are going to inquire of Ba‛al-Zebub, the mighty one of Eqron?’
2nd Kings 1:4  “So therefore, thus said YHWH, ‘You are not going to get out of the bed to which you have gone up, for you shall certainly die.’” And Eliyah went.
2nd Kings 1:5  And the messengers returned to him, and he said to them, “Why have you come back?”
2nd Kings 1:6  And they said to him, “A man came up to meet us, and said to us, ‘Go, return to the sovereign who sent you, and say to him, “Thus said YHWH, ‘Is it because there is no Elohim in Yisrael that you are sending to inquire of Ba‛al-Zebub, the mighty one of Eqron? Therefore, you are not going to get out of the bed to which you have gone up, for you shall certainly die.’”’”
2nd Kings 1:7  And he said to them, “What was the man like who came up to meet you and spoke to you these words?”
2nd Kings 1:8  And they answered him, “He was a hairy man, and wore a leather girdle around his waist.” And he said, “It is Eliyah the Tishbite.”
2nd Kings 1:9  He then sent to him a captain of fifty with his fifty men. And he went up to him, and see, he was sitting on the top of a hill. And he spoke to him, “Man of Elohim, the sovereign has said, ‘Come down!’”
2nd Kings 1:10  And Eliyah answered and said to the captain of fifty, “And if I am a man of Elohim, let fire come down from the heavens and consume you and your fifty men.” And fire came down from the heavens and consumed him and his fifty.
2nd Kings 1:11  He then sent another captain of fifty with his fifty men to him. And he answered and said to him, “Man of Elohim, this is what the sovereign said, ‘Come down at once!’”
2nd Kings 1:12  And Eliyah answered and said to them, “If I am a man of Elohim, let fire come down from the heavens and consume you and your fifty men.” And a fire of Elohim came down from the heavens and consumed him and his fifty.
2nd Kings 1:13  And again he sent a third captain of fifty with his fifty men. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Eliyah, and pleaded with him, and said to him, “Man of Elohim, please let my life and the life of these fifty servants of yours be precious in your eyes.
2nd Kings 1:14  “See, fire has come down from the heavens and burned up the first two captains of fifties with their fifties. But let my life be precious in your eyes.”
2nd Kings 1:15  And the Messenger of YHWH said to Eliyah, “Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.” So he rose and went down with him to the sovereign,
2nd Kings 1:16  and spoke to him, “Thus said YHWH, ‘Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Ba‛al-Zebub, the mighty one of Eqron, is it because there is no Elohim in Yisrael to inquire of His word? Therefore you are not going to get out of the bed to which you have gone up, for you shall certainly die.’”
2nd Kings 1:17  And he died, according to the word of YHWHwhich Eliyah had spoken. And Yehoram reigned in his place, in the second year of Yehoram son of Yehoshaphat, sovereign of Yehudah, for he had no son.

Notice that fifty men and a commander were sent three times. This totals 153. Two-thirds of them were consumed by fire from heaven, and the one-third that were righteous remained. This is the same percentage we saw in Zechariah 13:8, an end-time prophecy.

So, again, we are drawn to the idea that one-third of Abraham’s seed was righteous and survived Elohim’s refining. Now, remembering that one-third of Elohim’s messengers (angels) fell in satan’s rebellions and that Abraham’s seed was the same number as the sand of the seashore and the stars of the heavens, I will show these relationships in more depth in the following verses about the stars of heaven and the heavenly host in scripture.

Several Quotes where the Heavenly Hosts and the Stars are related to Angels.

One passage in the Bible makes an unmistakable reference to angels as “stars,” namely, Revelation 1:20:

Revelation 1:20  “The secret of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are messengers of the seven assemblies, and the seven lampstands which you saw are seven assemblies.

The following is a list of verses about stars and the heavenly host. Some are clearly angels, and others could be literal stars.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth and all the host of them were finished.

Numbers 24:17  “I see Him, but not now; I observe Him, but not near. A Star shall come out of Yaaqob, and a Scepter shall rise out of Yisrael, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and shall destroy all the sons of Sheth. (Numbers 31:16 and 25:3; also II Peter 2:15.)

This reference to a Star is a prophecy of Yahushua’s coming.

Deuteronomy 4:19  And lest you lift up your eyes to the heavens, and shall see the sun, and the moon, and the stars—all the host of the heavens—and you be drawn away into bowing down to them and serving them, which YHWH your Elohim has allotted to all the peoples under all the heavens.

YHWH allotted the angels to the nations, not to be their Elohim (gods) to be worshiped, but to serve the nations, to guard and protect them. As seen in Psalms 82, they abused them instead. Therefore, the authority given to them was taken away and given to Yahushua. Deuteronomy 32:9 shows that Jacob is the inheritance of YHWH, Yahushua coming in His Father’s name. What can be seen in Psalms 82 is that these ministering angels lose their inheritances because they did not do what they were to do and abused the people of the nations. As a result, they will become mortal and die as men. Also, their inheritances became Yahushua’s. When you read Dr. Michael Heiser’s book, The Unseen Realm, he shows the archeological discoveries of men claiming to be a superior race because they were up to two-thirds angelic beings. This and other things mentioned herein lead me to believe that these passages are about angels, not just heavenly bodies.

In revisiting Psalms 82, it is evident that these angels, who were being chastised, did not give up their positions of ruling over the nations they were given as an inheritance when the nations were divided at the Tower of Babel. The witnesses are when Gabriel came to Daniel. He was held up for 21 days by the Prince of Persia, until Michael the Archangel, that great head that stands over Elohim’s people, came and rebuked the Prince of Persia (Jude 1:9). The Prince of Persia was stating his authority over Persia, basically telling Gabriel he didn’t have the authority to go to Daniel. Michael’s ability to override that authority tells us there is a hierarchy among the angels. Possibly, Michael, who was of a higher authority, intervened because the descendants of Jacob (Israel), who were YHWH’s inheritance, were in captivity in Persia, so the Prince of Persia was claiming them as his.

Something else to consider: is “the sun, moon, and stars” referred to altogether as “all the host of heaven”? If this is the case, there is a physical facet to the sun, moon, and stars, and a spiritual aspect—as if an angel of some sort of heavenly being were in charge of each heavenly body. If this is correct, it could explain the sun and moon’s failures foretold in Isaiah 13:10, 24:21, and Psalms 82. The book of 1st Enoch says an angel is assigned to each heavenly body and is in charge of them staying synchronized with each other.

Judges 5:20  “From the heavens they fought; the stars from their courses fought against Sisera.“

Read Judges Chapter 5, and you will find mention of angels, Elohim, and stars. There is also mention of a battle that started over choosing the “new Elohim” (verse 8).

1st Kings 22:19  Then he said, “Therefore hear the word of YHWH: I saw YHWH sitting on His throne, and all the host of the heavens standing by Him, on His right and on His left.
1st Kings 22:20  “And YHWH said, ‘Who shall entice Ahab to go up and fall at Ramoth Gilad?’ And this one said this, and another said that.
1st Kings 22:21  “And a spirit came forward and stood before YHWH, and said, ‘Let me entice him.’
1st Kings 22:22  “And YHWH said to him, ‘In what way?’ And he said, ‘I shall go out and be a spirit of falsehood in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And He said, ‘Entice him, and also prevail. Go out and do so.’
1st Kings 22:23  “And now, see, YHWH has put a spirit of falsehood in the mouth of all these prophets of yours, and YHWH has spoken evil concerning you.”

These heavenly hosts are surely angels.

Deuteronomy 17:2  “When there is found in your midst, in any of your cities which YHWH your Elohim is giving you, a man or a woman who does what is evil in the eyes of YHWH your Elohim, in transgressing His covenant,
Deuteronomy 17:3  and has gone and served other mighty ones and bowed down to them, or to the sun or to the moon or to any of the host of the heavens, which I have not commanded,
Deuteronomy 17:4  and it has been made known to you, and you have heard and have searched diligently. Then see if it is true: the matter is confirmed that such an abomination has been done in Yisrael,
Deuteronomy 17:5  Then you shall bring out to your gates that man or woman who has done this evil matter, and you shall stone to death that man or woman with stones.

Note that the sun, moon, and stars are considered other gods. If those angels who were given to serve the nations are like satan, they will seek to be worshiped.

2nd Kings 21:1  Menashsheh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Yerushalayim. And his mother’s name was Ḥephtsibah.
2nd Kings 21:2  And he did evil in the eyes of YHWH, according to the abominations of the nations whom YHWH dispossessed before the children of Yisrael.
2nd Kings 21:3  For he turned and built the high places which Ḥizqiyahu, his father, had destroyed and raised up slaughter-places for Baal, and made an Asherah, as Ahab, the sovereign of Yisrael, had done, and he bowed himself to all the host of the heavens and served them.
2nd Kings 21:4  And he built slaughter-places in the House of YHWH, of which YHWH had said, “In Yerushalayim I put My Name.”
2nd Kings 21:5  And he built slaughter-places for all the host of the heavens in the two courtyards of the House of YHWH.
2nd Kings 21:6  And he made his son pass through the fire, and practiced magic, and used divination, and consulted spiritists and mediums. He did much evil in the eyes of YHWH to provoke Him.

2nd Kings 23:4  Then the sovereign commanded Ḥilqiyahu the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the doorkeepers, to bring out of the Hekal of YHWH all the objects that were made for Baal, and Asheah, and for all the host of the heavens. And he burned them outside Yerushalayim in the fields of Qidron and took their ashes to Beyth El.
2nd Kings 23:5  And he put down the black-robed priests whom the sovereigns of Yahudah had appointed to burn incense on the high places in the cities of Yahuḏah and in the places all around Yerushalayim, and those who burned incense to Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the constellations, and to all the host of the heavens.

2nd Chronicles 33:3  For again he rebuilt the high places which Ḥizqiyahu his father had broken down and raised up slaughter-places for the Baals, and made Asherim, and bowed himself to all the host of the heavens and served them.
2nd Chronicles 33:4  And he built slaughter-places in the House of YHWH, of which YHWH had said, “In Yerushalayim is My Name, forever.”
2nd Chronicles 33:5  And he built slaughter-places for all the host of the heavens in the two courtyards of the House of YHWH

Nehemiah 9:6  “You are YHWH, You alone. You have made the heavens, the heavens of the heavens, with all their host, the earth and all that are on it, the seas and all that are in them, and You give life to them all. And the host of the heavens are bowing themselves to You.”

Job 25:5  See, even the moon does not shine, and the stars have not been flawless in His eyes,
Job 25:6  how much less man, a maggot, and a son of man, a worm.

Here, a connection with Psalms Chapter 82 can be seen. Once again, how can the moon be flawed in the eyes of YHWH?

Job 38:6  Upon what were its foundations sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone?
Job 38:7  When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of Elohim shouted for joy.

If these “morning stars” are angels, we can easily see this phrase alongside the one that follows regarding the “sons of Elohim.”

Psalms 8:3  For I see Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have established.
Psalms 8:4  What is man that You remember him? And the son of man that You visit him?
Psalms 8:5  Yet You have made him a little less than Elohim and have crowned him with esteem and splendor.
Psalms 8:6  You made him rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all under his feet,

Hebrews 2:5  For it is not to messengers that He has subjected the world to come, concerning which we speak.
Hebrews 2:6  But somewhere one has witnessed, saying, “What is man that You remember him, or the son of man that You look after him?
Hebrews 2:7  “You have made him a little lower than Elohim. You have crowned him with esteem and respect, and set him over the works of Your hands.”

1st Corinthians 15:27  For “He has put all under His feet.” But when He says “all are put under Him,” it is clear that He who put all under Him is excepted.
1st Corinthians 15:28  And when all are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself shall also be subject to Him who put all under Him, so that Elohim be all in all

By all these parallels, this is certainly Yahushua. It speaks of Him being born a man by the Spirit and then having all put under His feet by His Father. So, He was made a little lower than the angels while on earth in the flesh.

Psalms 147:4  He appoints the number of the stars, He gives names to all of them.
Psalms 148:1  Praise Yah! Praise YHWH from the heavens, Praise Him in the heights!
Psalms 148:2  Praise Him, all His messengers; Praise Him, all His hosts!
Psalms 148:3  Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light!
Psalms 148:4  Praise Him, heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens!

This is most certainly speaking of Heavenly beings.

Isaiah 34:4  And all the host of the heavens shall rot away. And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll, and all their host fade like a leaf fading on the vine, and like the fading one of a fig tree.

This sounds like a total destruction of the heavens and the earth, which is at the end of the Millennial Reign, but it is at the beginning of the Millennial Reign. If you read Obadiah, which is only one chapter, then read all of Isaiah Chapter 34; the connections are there to place the two together. Obadiah says the day of YHWH is near because it occurs just before YHWH comes out of His place and punishes the nations. These are the plagues of Revelation, which begin as seen in Isaiah 26:21.

Jeremiah 8:2  “and shall spread them before the sun and the moon and all the host of the heavens, which they have loved and which they have served and after which they have walked, which they have sought, and to which they have bowed themselves. They shall not be gathered nor buried, they shall be for dung on the face of the earth.
Jeremiah 8:3  “And death shall be preferred to life by all the rest of those who remain of this evil people, who remain in all the places where I have driven them,” declares YHWH of hosts.

This sounds like the same time as described above.

Jeremiah 19:13  “And the houses of Yerushalayim and the houses of the sovereigns of Yahudah shall be as unclean as the place of Topheth, because of all the houses on whose roofs they have burned incense to all the host of the heavens, and poured out drink offerings to other mighty ones.”

Jeremiah 33:22  “‘As the host of the heavens is not counted, nor the sand of the sea measured, so I increase the descendants of David, My servant, and the Levites who attend upon Me.’”

Once again, we see a hint that the numbers are the same.

Daniel 8:9  And from one of them came a little horn which became exceedingly great toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the Splendid Land.
Daniel 8:10  And it became great, up to the host of the heavens. And it caused some of the hosts and some of the stars to fall to the earth, and trampled them down.
Daniel 8:11  It even exalted itself as high as the Prince of the host. And it took that which is continual away from Him, and threw down the foundation of His set-apart place.

Abraham’s Seed

There is a lot of information that shows Abraham’s seed is as numerous as the stars of heaven, and the stars are referred to as Angels, and likewise the sand of the sea; then literally, they are the same number. According to Revelation 12:4, one-third of the angels fell with satan. According to Zechariah 13:8-9, one-third of the seed of Abraham is found righteous and survives after YHWH refines Israel. Next are those who have accepted Yahushua as their Kinsman-Redeemer and follow in obedience to YHWH, becoming as the Angels of Elohim in (Matthew 22:30).

A lot is going on in the above passages.

It looks as though the righteous one-third of Abraham’s seed become as the Angels of Elohim, and the rest are consumed by fire from heaven at the end of the Thousand Year Reign of Yahushua.

Interestingly, the earthly king of Israel sent the captain and fifty men three times, and only the third captain and his men were righteous. When Yahushua appeared to Peter and the others when they caught the 153 big fish and the net did not tear, it was Yahushua’s third appearance after His crucifixion.

Yahushua walked with Adam in the garden, then came to earth in the flesh. Next, we will dine with Him in the New Jerusalem. But in the interim, Israel has to bring the other two-thirds to Him. I will explore this thought more deeply later.

What can be seen easily is the significance of the 153 as the Sons of Elohim, and that only one-third of Abraham’s seed were found righteous enough to become Sons of Elohim.
With all this in mind, let’s revisit Psalms 82 and determine who these Elohim are.
First of all, “Elohim (our Heavenly Father) stands in the congregation of El (the mighty ones). He judges in the midst of the elohim (angels)”.
Notice three references to Elohim in this verse (they are not all the same). Then, in verses 2-6, He chastises them for not giving the right ruling.

Psalms 82:1  Elohim (our Father in Heaven) stands in the congregation of El; He judges in the midst of the elohim (angels).
Psalms 82:2  How long would you judge perversely, and show partiality to the wrong? Selah.
Psalms 82:3  Give right-ruling to the poor and fatherless, Do right to the afflicted and needy.
Psalms 82:4  Rescue the poor and needy; Deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
Psalms 82:5  They do not know, nor do they understand; they walk about in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
Psalms 82:6  I, I said, “You are elohim, and all of you are sons of the Most High.
Psalms 82:7  “But as men you die and fall as one of the heads.”
Psalms 82:8  Arise, O Elohim (Yahushua Messiah), judge the earth, for You shall possess all the nations.

Who is Who in all this? “You are elohim, and all of you are sons of the Most High.” They are Angels that were set to rule and care for the nations. But the rebels (unrighteous ones) die as men and fall as one of the heads on the earth (Isaiah 24:21). YHWH (The Father) is replacing His Angels lost in the rebellion with those of Abraham’s seed (men) who choose YHWH over satan. Satan and his followers lose their eternal life and die as men. They will die as men, being consumed by fire from heaven (Ezekiel 28:12-19 and 2nd Peter 3:10) with those of Abraham’s seed that were unrighteous. This explains how the righteous seed of Adam at the end of the Thousand-Year Reign of Yahushua will walk on satan’s ashes, and how the righteous seed of Abraham will look upon satan in the pit and say, “Is this the man that led all the nations astray?” (Isaiah 14:12-21). Satan and his followers, both human and angelic, are thrown into the pit and locked up until near the end of the Thousand-Year Reign (Reference Isaiah 24:21-22 and 26:5 and Revelation 20:1-3).

Here are more details on the casting of satan to earth and the angels that followed him.

Ezekiel 28:16-19 speaks of this. In Ezekiel 28:18, it is said that YHWH will turn him to ashes. In verse 17, it says “I threw you to earth.” This is in Revelation 12:9, which is tied to Daniel 12:1 by the statement, “at this time, Michael the great head will stand up for your people,” which appears in Revelation 12:7.

What Does This Mean to Me?

I must go back to the beginning of this article. The loss of YHWH’s Reign on earth began with the fall of satan, then the watchers mentioned in Genesis 6, and next, the angels that rebelled, described in Psalms 82. These Angels were His ministering angels and judges of the nations of the earth. They were His ministering angels, but they corrupted themselves. The inheritance of Eloah’s Son was Jacob (all tribes of Israel [Deuteronomy 32:9]), but because of the corruption of the angels addressed in Psalms 82, YHWH gave the whole earth to His Son to Judge (Psalms 82:8). The witness to whom Eloah gave it is the statement: “Arise O Elohim, judge the nations of the earth.” Eloah has not given the right to judge the nations of the earth, except to Yahushua.

Many people are confused when Yahushua Messiah is referred to as YHWH, but it says, “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of YHWH” (Matthew 23:39 is one of seven references). He (Yahushua) told the Pharisees: “I come in my Father’s Name, and you do not accept Me.” He was telling them who He was, and they didn’t recognize Him. Further witness is in John Chapter 17.

John 17:1  Yahushua said these words, and lifted up His eyes to the heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come. Esteem Your Son, so that Your Son also might esteem You,
John 17:2  as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give everlasting life to all whom You have given Him.
John 17:3  “And this is everlasting life, that they should know You, the only true Elohim, and Yahushua Messiah whom You have sent.
John 17:4  “I have esteemed You on the earth, having accomplished the work You have given Me that I should do.
John 17:5  “And now, esteem Me with Yourself, Father, with the esteem which I had with You before the world was.
John 17:6  “I have revealed Your Name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have guarded Your Word (reference Psalms 138:2).
John 17:7  “Now they have come to know that all You gave to Me is from You.
John 17:8  “Because the Words which You gave to Me, I have given to them. And they have received them, and have truly known that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me.
John 17:9  “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.
John 17:10  “And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I have been esteemed in them.
John 17:11  “And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Set-apart Father, guard them in Your Name which You have given Me, so that they might be one, as We are. (Footnote: Also see John 10:30.)
John 17:12  “When I was with them in the world, I was guarding them in Your Name which You have given Me, and I watched over them, and not one of them perished except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be filled.
John 17:13  “And now I come to You. And I speak these words in the world, so that they have My joy completed in them.
John 17:14  “I have given them Your Word, and the world hated them because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.
John 17:15  “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the wicked one.
John 17:16  “They are not of the world, as I am not of the world.
John 17:17  “Set them apart in Your truth—Your Word is truth. (Psalms 119:142, 119:151, and 119:160).
John 17:18  “As You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world.
John 17:19  “And for them I set Myself apart, so that they too might be set apart in truth.
John 17:20  “And I do not pray for these alone, but also for those believing in Me through their word,
John 17:21  So that they all might be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, so that they too might be one in Us, so that the world might believe that You have sent Me.
John 17:22  “And the esteem which You gave Me I have given them, so that they might be one as We are one,
John 17:23  “I in them, and You in Me, so that they might be perfected into one, so that the world knows that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
John 17:24  “Father, I desire that those whom You have given Me might be with Me where I am so that they see My esteem which You have given Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
John 17:25  “O righteous Father, indeed the world did not know You, but I knew You, and these knew that You sent Me.
John 17:26  “And I have made Your Name known to them and shall make it known so that the love with which You loved Me might be in them, and I in them.”  (References John 17:6, as well as Psalms 22:22, and Hebrews 2:12).

Now, back to YHWH’s Reign. Knowing what was lost from YHWH’s Reign was one-third of His angels, it stands to reason that they would have to be restored for YHWH’s reign to be completely restored. They were His ministering angels. Now, His First-Born Nation (Israel) has the same assignment. Adam and all his progeny were also lost until Yahushua redeemed them, but there will still be multitudes of them out in the nations in the Thousand-Year Reign. Israel is to bring all the descendants of Adam who will obey the Torah of YHWH to Him, and back into the garden.

In the Millennial Kingdom, Israel, YHWH’s First-Born Nation (Exodus 4:22) will become what they were supposed to be. Taking YHWH’s Torah to all the nations of the world. They will bring the whole family of Adam to YHWH (The Father), who will accept His redemption through His First-Born Son, Yahushua Messiah. The nations were divided at the Tower of Babel according to the number of the Angels (Sons of Elohim). And according to Psalms Chapter 82, these Angels were to minister and judge according to YHWH’s Torah. In Luke 15:7-10, the Angels are rejoicing over one who is about to repent, which shows some of their interactions with the descendants of Adam. It was their job to help anyone trying to discover the truth of YHWH; to guard them from the evil one, as shown in John Chapter 17. As I touched on above, there appear to be three rebellions of His heavenly host. First, satan, then the fallen angels of Genesis 6:1-2, and last, the unrighteous angels of Psalms 82, with satan being responsible for all three (this will be another study in itself.) Yahushua Messiah redeemed us and empowered us to defeat the evil that resulted from each one of these rebellions of YHWH’s heavenly host (again, see the article on Job for how this empowerment works).

In Ezekiel Chapter 44, three levels of people will enter the Millennial Kingdom. The lowest level is the rebels, who have accepted Yahushua Messiah (the Kinsman-Redeemer). According to Ezekiel 20:37-38, the rebels cannot enter the land, just like the rebels in the first exodus. And the land will be like the Garden of Eden again, according to Isaiah 51:3 and Ezekiel 36:35. In Luke 13:23-28, there is a parable about these people, and in Matthew 25:1-12 about the maidens without oil. They are the Lukewarm of Revelation 3:16, the rebels. The next level will be those who served in apostasy. They will be able to enter the land, but will be as servants to do the work of the Temple. The upper level is the Levite priests, the sons of Zadok. They will be able to enter the set-apart place. They are the only ones who will enter the heavenly sanctuary where Yahushua Messiah will reign.

If you think you’re not a Levite, so this can’t be you, look at Isaiah 66 as follows.

Isaiah 66:20  “And they shall bring all your brothers as an offering to YHWH out of all the nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My set-apart mountain Yarushalayim,” declares YHWH, “as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the House of YHWH.
Isaiah 66:21  “And from them too I shall take for priests—for Levites,” declares YHWH.

YHWH is taking from those whom He brings back to the land (that is, once again made like the Garden of Eden) to be priests for the Levites. I checked the Jewish commentary to see if it agreed with what I was seeing. It did. This is not saying He is taking Levites from among those returning people. It is saying He will take some from among the returning people to be Levites and serve before Him. Any righteous person could be one of these.

I’ll mention that, in Revelation 14:1, the 144,000 are the first fruits of the resurrection; each in his own order. They are with Yahushua Messiah on Mt. Zion; at that time, the good news is going out, and then harbingers are going out. Then comes the first sickle, being the wheat harvest. This begins with the removal of the tare or darnel (the seed satan planted in humanity), the stumbling blocks, and those doing lawlessness (Matthew 13:41, Zephaniah 1:3). Next the second sickle, the grape harvest, with blood up to the bridles of the horses (Revelation 14:20). Notice that these same two harvests are in Joel 3:13. In Joel 3:17 and 21, YHWH is dwelling in Zion His Holy Mountain. Linking the same events in Revelation 14 to Joel 3 provides more detail. I go into detail about all this in the article that I mentioned at the beginning of this article, “The Day and Hour.” In it, I will explain how we can identify the coming Day of YHWH’s return.

Who Are the 144,000, and What Is Their Purpose?

As mentioned above, the 144,000 (as First-Fruits) are with Yahushua Messiah on Mt. Zion. The word Reshiyt, as discussed earlier (Pg. 3), means first. They are not the whole harvest but the first, which is offered as a wave offering after unleavened bread. They (the 144,000) are with Yahushua Messiah when the harbingers are going out all over the whole world. As described in Revelation 14:1, the 144,000 were then taken out as the first fruits of the barley harvest, because they are with Yahushua Messiah before the wheat and grape harvest. The first fruits are one shock of grain that the priests pick out of the best brought by each farmer. The priests will pick the best of the best to wave. It is the best of the best of all Israel. The first fruit offering is a tiny amount compared to the whole harvest. So are the 144,000, compared to the whole harvest. I can’t imagine how anyone could think the 144,000 were the only people being saved. The purpose of the 144,000 is revealed in Isaiah 8:18.

Isaiah 8:18  Look, I and the children whom YHWH has given me—for signs and wonders in Yisrael from YHWH of hosts, who dwells in Mount Tsiyon.

The 144,000 are with Yahushua on Mt. Zion, who comes in His Father’s Name, YHWH (Revelation 14:1). Both of these events are easily identified as occurring at Yahushua’s return. If Yahushua (and later all the apostles) had to perform signs and wonders to get the people to recognize who they were, how much more will the group that gathers the people from the nations have to do signs and wonders at the time of the Second Exodus as well. Now, the antitheses are doing signs and wonders at this same time as this group who are with Yahushua on Mt. Zion. The reference to this is as follows.

2nd Thessalonians 2:8  And then the lawless one shall be revealed, whom the Master shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth (Isaiah 11:4) and bring to naught with the manifestation of His coming.
2nd Thessalonians 2:9  The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood,
2nd Thessalonians 2:10  and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, in order for them to be saved.
2nd Thessalonians 2:11  And for this reason Elohim sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood (John 9:39, John 12:40, Acts 7:42, and Romans 1:24-28).
2nd Thessalonians2:12  in order that all should be judged who did not believe the truth, but have delighted in the unrighteousness

Paul tells us something very important in verse 8 above. Here, the word he uses for lawless is not the most used word for lawless—the Greek word anomia (Thayer’s # G458)—which means the condition of being without law because of being ignorant of it, because of violating it, contempt, and violation of the law, iniquity, and wickedness. The word Paul uses here is anomos (Thayer’s # 459), which means destitute of the Mosaic law, departing from the law, as the Nations, departing from the law, a violator of the law, lawless, and wicked.
Paul has given us the foremost attribute of the man known as the Anti-Messiah, which is to be devoid of and against the Torah. Another thing in the above verses that needs some special attention is that Yahushua will, at His coming, consume the lawless/Torah-less one with the Spirit of His mouth. The Spirit is the Torah, which can be seen here to consume satan, the adversary. This is another reminder that this is spiritual warfare.

The ancient tradition was that seventy nations were created when YHWH divided the nations at the Tower of Babel. If you add the two Houses of Israel, you have 72 nations. This is one-half of 144. That would be 2,000 for each nation, a thousand for the front guard, and a thousand for the rear guard.

Consider Matthew 24:31: “And He shall send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet (Isaiah 27:13), and they shall gather together His chosen ones from the four winds (Daniel 7:2), from one end of the heavens to the other (Deuteronomy 4:32).

Isaiah 52:12 and 58:8 both speak of YHWH going before Israel when He brings them back to the promised land. He also provides the rear guard. We can see by example that when YHWH brought them out of Mitsrayim (Egypt), He was going before them and as their rear guard. We also see that the Father accomplished that with His Messenger (Exodus 14:19: ”The Messenger of Elohim”), who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them. And the column of cloud went from before them and stood behind them.

If these 144,000 first fruits of the resurrection are His Messengers, then it is possible that they could be those sent to gather Israel out of the nations (Matthew 24:31), with 1,000 going before each nation as their front guard and 1,000 behind them as a rear guard. One place that is closely connected to the 144,000 is in Isaiah 8:18, shown above. To bring context to verse 18, I will start with verse 11. As you read this, consider what is going on today. What can be seen below is that both Houses of Israel are stumbling because of Yahushua, who is coming in the Name of YHWH. References to the Chief Cornerstone are Deuteronomy 32:4, Isaiah 17:10, 26:4, Psalms 18:31, and Ephesians 2:20, which has become a stone for stumbling. The Jewish people reject Yahushua, the living Word, for the most part, and the Christians reject YHWH’s Torah, the written Word.

Isaiah 8:11  For YHWH spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,
Isaiah 8:12  “Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.
Isaiah 8:13  “YHWH of hosts, Him you shall set apart. Let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread.
Isaiah 8:14  “And He shall be for a set-apart place, but a stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling to both the houses of Yisrael, as a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Yerushalayim.
Isaiah 8:15  “And many among them shall stumble and fall, and be broken and snared and taken.”
Isaiah 8:16  Bind up the witness, seal the Torah among my taught ones.
Isaiah 8:17  And I shall wait on YHWH, who hides His face from the house of Yaaqoḇ. And I shall look for Him.
Isaiah 8:18  Look, I and the children whom YHWH has given me—for signs and wonders in Yisrael from YHWH of hosts, who dwells in Mount Tsiyon. (Compare this verse with Revelation 14:1-5. Verse 18 is referring to the 144,000.)
Isaiah 8:19  And when they say to you, “Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their Elohim? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living?
Isaiah 8:20  To the Torah and to the witness! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because they have no daybreak (Hebrew, Or light.)
Isaiah 8:21  And they shall pass through it hard pressed and hungry. And it shall be, when they are hungry, that they shall be wroth and curse their sovereign and their Elohim, looking upward.
Isaiah 8:22  And they shall look to the earth and see distress and darkness, gloom of hard times, and be driven into thick darkness.

In verse 18, the children who are with Him have been given to Him by YHWH of Hosts who dwells on Mount Tsiyon (Zion). The reason we know this is the same time and place, in both Isaiah and Revelation, is because of what is happening in both.

Summary of This Addendum

The idea that the fallen angels are the same number as the righteous seed of Abraham through Jacob (Israel) is evident throughout the Torah. YHWH took the sons of Mitsrayim (Egypt) for the redemption of the sons of Israel because Mitsrayim refused to accept YHWH as their one and only Elohim. The firstborns of Israel had to be the same number as the firstborns of Mitsrayim. When anyone refuses to fulfill the destiny they were created for, YHWH replaces them with someone who will fill that position. YHWH, through Moses, offered Pharaoh, King of Mitsrayim, to be the Nation that would support the taking of the Torah of Elohim to the Nations. He refused, so that refusal opened the door for Israel to replace them.

Whenever the numbers differ, a ransom must be paid, as the Torah attests. YHWH took the innocent blood of animals for our corrupted blood, one for one, until Yahushua Messiah redeemed us. He became our Kinsman-Redeemer, if you accept Him, taking on Himself the punishment for the sins of the descendants of Adam. When the Levites were selected to take the place of the firstborn sons of Israel to serve before Elohim, the firstborn sons of the Levites were not as many as the firstborn sons of the rest of the tribes put together. So, there had to be a ransom paid. As discussed earlier, Israel is the firstborn nation, chosen to carry Elohim’s Torah teachings to the Nations. This is what Israel will do during the Thousand-Year Reign. Even though, as it has been shown above, the righteous third of the seed of Israel is replacing the unrighteous third of the seed of fallen angels at some point, the total number to be made angelic has to be three-thirds to make a whole. As seen above, there were 153 large fish, and the net did not tear, so none were lost. Two-thirds of Israel were not found righteous. If we go back to a point where it can be seen that the whole progeny of Adam would be reduced to three humans, it would be just after the flood: Shem, Ham, and Yapheth. It will be Israel’s job to bring the righteous third of Ham and the righteous third of Yapheth to YHWH. Then there will be the whole 153 big fish. Knowing that the number 153 is tied to the sons of Elohim, and the sons of Elohim are angels, and the net has to be full, and Israel is prophetically only filling one-third of the net, the other two-thirds need to come to righteousness. If Israel replaces the angels who followed satan in rebellion, there will need to be a ransom for the extra two-thirds, and Yahushua paid that ransom when he willingly gave His life to ransom all the descendants of Adam who would accept that redemption and follow in obedience (Reference: John 17:19).

A question that I am sure we all have had at one time or another is: why would Elohim create humans? I will share my idea, and then I welcome anyone else’s.
The Angels were created by Avinu baShamayim (Our Father in Heaven) through His Son Yahushua, in heaven to be eternal beings. So, what do you do when some of them rebel against Elohim? A principle that seems apparent is that Avinu created each entity, heavenly or earthly, for a position. Like if you have a business, you will have positions that need to be filled for the business to perform as it was created to. I am suggesting that is exactly what Elohim was doing in the beginning of His creation. He knew that any group of beings that would have free will would have those who would become rebellious.

After the angelic rebellions, He already has a plan for what to do with these eternal beings so that they will be gone forever and never be a problem again. So, He creates a world of beings that are potentially immortal if obedient, and potentially mortal if not. This gives satan a field to prove his case against Elohim, which is that anyone given the choice would do what he did, and that is choose the fleshly rewards over the spiritual life. So, this creation of humanity seemed good to satan, most likely, except that he would be below the human created to care for and guard the Garden of Eden after satan’s rebellion, which was satan’s job before his rebellion (Ezekiel Chapter 28). The adversary, satan, set out immediately to solve that problem by deceiving the woman into disobeying the first command of all. At this point, everything seems to be going satan’s way. Now he has his seed, the lie that produced transgressions, which brought on the knowledge of evil, which is now in humanity. As can be seen in the first chapter of Job, satan is totally convinced that all of Adam’s descendants will choose the flesh over the Spirit, as he did. What he is blinded to is that those who do not select the flesh are going to inherit his eternal position, and he will inherit the mortal position of those who did choose the flesh over the Spirit. Mortal beings are burned and gone as if they never existed. You have to fulfill your destiny to inherit eternal life. Those who choose not to fulfill it will have YHWH put someone else in that position.

In the blink of an eye at the end of the Millennial Kingdom, the Day of YHWH shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up (2nd Peter 3:10). At this moment, satan and all those that have chosen him, human and angelic, will inherit the mortality of the flesh and be burned. This is exactly what can be seen in Isaiah Chapter 14 and Ezekiel Chapter 28.

Understanding the role of numbers is necessary to see what is evolving.

Now, look back at the importance of the numbers: there are a certain number of positions in the heavens, and the mortal positions are the same number; then we can see why this particular Day of YHWH is a day no one knows, not the angels or even the Son. No one knows when the number of humans will reach the number of heavenly positions except Avinu baShamayim (Our Father in Heaven). By creating potentially mortal beings with a choice of seeds to follow, He made a place for those angelic beings who chose the flesh over the Spirit to be mortal. When the rebels burn, they are gone forever, and potentially in Elohim’s Realm, where there is no time continuum, they will be as if they never existed. If this model is correct, then you can see why some entities, the fallen angels, are intent on killing every human on this earth right now.
Our enemy is not human. He has enlisted all the humans he can to put the giants’ demon spirits in, to do his work, but the enemy is not human. All the years since creation, he has been dividing the sons of Adam because he knows that when the number is equal, he will inherit the flesh and burn never to return. His smoke and the smoke of those who followed him will go up forever. That most likely means that no one will ever forget what happened to him for what he did. That memory would be a good deterrent from doing likewise.

What moved me to write this book was the following verse.

Acts 3:19-21: “Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master, and that He sends Yahushua, pre-appointed for you, whom heaven needs to receive until the restoration of all matters, of which Elohim spoke through the mouth of all His set-apart prophets since of old.”

The restoration of YHWH’s kingdom on earth through Yahushua Messiah is the Good News. Yahushua Messiah, redeeming us and enabling us to become a new creation so that our eternal life is restored, is certainly an awesome and integral part of this restoration of YHWH’s Reign. But the good news all through the apostles’ writings is the restoration of YHWH’s Reign in the heavens and on earth. I felt that we needed to know what was lost, so that we could understand what needed to be restored, and what the prophets told us about how this would come about. Without these understandings, prophecy would be very difficult if not impossible. The details of the end times prophecies with their chronological order are in the article I have already mentioned a few times, named “The Day and Hour.”

Rapture

The rapture theories never seem to take into consideration Proverbs 2:21-22.

Proverbs 2:21-22 For the straight shall dwell in the earth, and the perfect be left in it. But the wrong shall be cut off from the earth, and the treacherous ones plucked out of it.

Same thought again in Psalms 37:9-11: “For evil doers are cut off; But those that wait on YHWH, they shall inherit the earth. Yet a little while and the wrong is no more; And you shall look on his place, but it is not. But the meek ones shall inherit the earth and delight themselves in plenty of peace.” Then again, in verse 29: “The righteous shall inherit the earth, and dwell in it forever.”

I cannot fit a rapture into these verses. We are not going to heaven; it is coming to earth. Christianity has been totally consumed with this theory and others like it, which bring the destruction that comes with apathy.

If we don’t see the big picture, how can we ever fit the pieces together? I hope this brief article helps people see the big picture.

For YHWH’s Reign to be restored as it originally was on this earth. His lost angels must be restored. Their rebellion caused a loss that needs to be restored for YHWH’s Reign to be complete, and our Heavenly Father to be able to dwell with us. These ministering angels are essential for His system to function as it was initially intended. I think the evidence indicates that YHWH’s chosen people—from the seed of Abraham through Jacob, who will choose YHWH and join His chosen through belief in Yahushua, followed by obedience—will be made as the messengers at the end of the Millennial Reign, while satan and his rebels will be thrown to the earth (Revelation 12:13) and made as mortal men. Like it says in Psalms 82:7, “But as men you die and fall as one of the heads.”

When Will Elohim’s Reign Be Perfected?

YHWH’s Reign is not fully restored until all are put under Yahushua Messiah’s feet, and the last thing put under His feet is death. This is at the end of the Millennial Reign when He turns His Reign over to His Father so He will be All in All.

1st Corinthians 15:23  And each in his own order: the first fruits, then those who are of Yahushua at His coming,
1st Corinthians 15:24  then the end, when He delivers up the reign to Elohim the Father, when He has brought to naught all rule and all authority and power.
1st Corinthians 15:25  For He must reign until He has put all enemies under His feet.
1st Corinthians 15:26  The last enemy to be brought to naught is death.
1st Corinthians 15:27  For “He has put all under His feet.” But when He says “all are put under Him,” it is clear that He who put all under Him is excepted.
1st Corinthians 15:28  And when all are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself shall also be subject to Him who put all under Him, in order that Elohim be all in all.

If the last enemy to be brought to nothing is death, then the total restoration of all things on this earth will not happen until the end of the Millennial Reign as said above, when satan is let loose again for a little while to deceive the nations again (Revelation 20:7). And those humans who join satan and come against YHWH’s people will be destroyed by fire from YHWH, along with satan and his fallen ones.

Ezekiel 28:18  “You profaned your set-apart places by your many crookednesses, by the unrighteousness of your trading. Therefore, I brought forth fire from your midst. It has devoured you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth before the eyes of all who see you.”
Ezekiel 28:19  “All who knew you among the peoples were astonished at you. Waste you shall be, and cease to be, forever.”

Then the New Yarushalayim comes down adorned like a bride. Then there will be no more death, and YHWH with Yahushua will dwell with His chosen people.

If the seed of Abraham is the same number as the sand of the sea and the stars and heavenly hosts, then they are the same number as the Angels (as shown above). One third of the angels fell with satan (Revelation 12:4), and a third part of the seed of Abraham are found righteous (Zechariah 13:8-9). It’s an even switch. For example, look at Luke 20:36. Yahushua Messiah was asked about marriage in the next reign, which also addresses the switch…

Luke 20:36 for neither is it possible for them to die anymore, because they are like messengers and are sons of Elohim, being sons of the resurrection. (There is no need for procreation anymore because all are eternal heavenly beings.)

One word, translated differently in Deuteronomy 32:8, has kept me from seeing this understanding until recently. It is interesting that the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in the same year that the UN declared that Israel could be a nation again in its homeland. The calendar scrolls are the scrolls left for those with insight in the latter days, as mentioned in Daniel and Revelation. Before the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, the Septuagint translation of Deuteronomy 32:8 was dismissed as being inferior to the Hebrew. However, when Hebrew transcripts were discovered, which are dated around the same time (200 BCE +/-) as the Septuagint, they also used the sons of Elohim variant. It became well-attested in the ancient tradition of Second Temple Jews. The Septuagint’s translation of the Hebrew “sons of Elohim” and the Greek “angelos Theos” also shows that “sons of Elohim” was referring to angels and not humans. There was a transformation at some point away from the tradition of 3 BC to the sons of Israel tradition, which is reflected in almost all translations now.

First witness of the translators changing the Words of Elohim

Jeremiah 8:8  “How do you say, ‘We are wise, and the Torah is with us’? But look, the false pen of the scribe has worked falsehood.
Jeremiah 8:9  “The wise shall be put to shame, they shall be broken down and caught. See, they have rejected the Word of YHWH, so what wisdom do they have?

Second witness that translators changed His Words

Isaiah 43:25  “I, I am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and remember your sins no more.
Isaiah 43:26  “Remind Me, let us enter into judgment, together; relate, that you might be declared right.
Isaiah 43:27  “Your first father sinned, and your interpreters have transgressed against Me (Jeremiah 8:8).

Deuteronomy 4:2 ”Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it, so as to guard the commands of YHWH your Elohim which I am commanding you (Deuteronomy 12:32, Proverbs 30:6, and Revelation 22:18-19.)

Proverbs 30:4  Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, and what is His Son’s Name, if you know it?
Proverbs 30:5  Every Word of Eloah is tried; He is a shield to those taking refuge in Him (Psalms 12:6 and 18:30).

Proverbs 30:6  Do not add to His Words, lest He reprove you, and you be found a liar.

Revelation 22:18  For I witness to everyone hearing the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to them, Elohim shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book,
Revelation 22:19  and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, Elohim shall take away his part from the Book of Life, and out of the set-apart city, which are written in this Book.

Therefore, it is so important not to change the Word of Elohim. It won’t be good for those who have done this.
